The interesting thing about the ultra line is the 10"-14" compound radius. I would swap those noiseless pickups with some great 69 Custom Shop or Fat 50s immediately. As the owner of multiple Custom Shop guitars, I've come to realize that if you want absolute modern comfort, you should avoid the CS... It's too "period oriented"... They even reproduce the "flaws" of a specific era... BUT! ☝.... If you want the most modern playable AND great sounding strat, just buy the top of the US line and get some CS pickups (69 is the best...). I don't think you can beat this. And it will save you $2000... I might buy an Ultra just for the radius. It's always been my main complaint on strats. So...
Love that one with stainless steel frets!!! Better sound, no fret wear, less string breakage, less friction on strings, better sustain, no oxydation and no nickel/copper in our blood!!
stainless steel fret strat was what people had been asking for like over decades.... tone might be more clean and not so traditional, but it amplifies the purest characters of the strat tone...
I’ve been playing custom shop from guitar center. That being said, I’ve got to tell you this is a far better guitar for half the price. Just my personal experience.
It’s all in the neck. The feel, the rolled edges, the fret ends. I also went back to Guitar center and the same two custom shop’s are still sitting on the wall after two months.
We feel you on that. Fender won't do weight sorting for anything other than Custom Shop and only then if a premium is paid to have it sorted for light weight 😑
Got one today from CCM. Thanks
Appreciate you! 😁😁😁
The best guitar ever. I have Ultra SSS. But I want this, because such guitar is for whole life, and stainless steel frets are forever

There you go! You hit some of the best aspects of the Ultra Luxe right on the head. :)
@@CreamCityMusic great playing as usual
@@notalkguitarampplug-insrev784 Thanks for your kind words! :)
Mines sounds shit, there’s overtones and it needs a fret dampener, and sounds gash
Killer guitar!
Most definitely! It's been a top seller in our showroom.
Awesome as usual 👍🔥🎸🦅
If one were to swap the pick guard would it look better with white, parchment or mint green? Also, the pickup covers, can they be changed?
They can all be changed as far as we know. I'd go white or parchment. Or black. :D

Ya I keep saying that but these things are holding their value like crazy.
Great guitar, but I like the tone of the Ultra better. I think it is the S S Frets that is throwing it off for me.
About 5x past the acceptable price range according To my wife..... Buzzkill....

oh well, there's plenty of more reasonable suitable alternatives out there - one of them is bound to let you buy this guitar.
Too bad you can’t find one under 8.5 lbs. for $2500 they should have weight sorted the body wood.

Yeah I agree. My Am Pro II Tele feels half as heavy as this.
2200, I think
Mine weighs 8.1 Sept 2023 model
Mine is 7lbs 9oz, 2024 model
