Definitely needs an upgrade kit to be called a competitive blaster. A springer needs to be in the 200s for that. This thing definitely has a lot of potential and I will definitely be picking one up. Thanks for all your work on getting this thing created to hobby requirements.

Are the ones that come with blue stock rods different from the ones that came with titanium stock rods? Mine has collapsing issues + you mentioned something about different ID barrel variants so im curious if i had gotten a lemon

Really nice looking. Just need the ability to purchase without restriction. Feels like everytime we see a sweet new blaster with all the best features, it's either prohibitively expensive, or there is never enough stock to satisfy demand.
Mine was quite underwhelming. It’s wasn’t really accurate, the barrel doesn’t stay in place, none of my scars work with it as the barrel is just a hair fat so a bearing scar would work better, but pricey and adds to up. The magazine in my opinion doesn’t fit 15 darts without seriously squishing them, 10 seems to be the number that works before they start flattening and then miss firing. This I wanted to love but just couldn’t.

I’ve sent it back but had to pay shipping back and maybe subject to a 15% restock, overall I’ve just not had a positive experience with this blaster as I’ve had with several others in the same pro line.

This would be nice for ragfest, and HvZ, but to be more Comp viable it has to be as close to the 200 mark as possible. That being said, this does have quite a lot of potential to be good/you have a rush playstyle. I'll be forgiving to not expect it to meet 200fps but the closer the more willing I am to get it. The only thing closest to this rn is an SBL 2 but that's still in beta and still larger/more expensive
The Harrier is by far a toy 😆 IMO the Harrier is the best springer available rn. The ONLY thing the unicorn has going for it is the form factor. It's definitely NOT a competitive blaster though, FPS is too low...150 Has been the entry level standard since the Nexus hit the scene a few years ago. With that being said, I'm sure the community will figure out a way to get the unicorn up to spec to be a true contender on the field.
@@meriscorditan2799 For competitive yes they need to be at the level. Is this a good competitive blaster out of the box. Nope but sounds like a tube, barrel and spring will solve that.
@@meriscorditan2799 our games at VDC in australia have no cap so unless you can utilize cover or sneak very well 150fps might not be enough. especially because people have 375 fps snipper riffles

Ragfest 5v5 has a 150 cap, so it's perfect for that. Also a lot of clubs will have a 150-160 cap

@@ValTek_Armory 160 for flywheels and 200 for Springers for Rag. Don’t think I will be making it to Rag this year. The last 2 were awesome.
It's a compact blaster that's perfect for CQB. A lot of close range indoor events have a lower cap.

The blue rods were only on preproduction units. All new-release ones just have silver rods

not that I know. The blaster is well padded, so dryfire shouldn't be an issue

With the solid tube, it has similar volume to an XPT retaliator. I expect 200fps will be easy
