Thank you. Actually, you should see a pretty good amount of videos come out in 2020, including a LED grow light comparison unlike any you've ever seen before ;)

We're starting to do our own LED comparison test using 3rd party light laboratory data. You may find this useful :) growershouse.com/blog/led-grow-light-ultimate-comparison-review-using-light-laboratory-data/
Growers House Nate please do the 135-260 watt models from CLW. HLG etc. smaller home grower units. People do not have access to real information on these precuts and it’s hurting sales. The lighting industry is so full of shit. Ppfd charts and spectrum graphics, asensetek makes good spectroradiographs, will set GH apart and help consumers make decisive purchasing decisions.
I wish someone would compare the 550 versus the optic slim or optic 8. If there is one id like to see it. I don't have any of these light but I am trying to decide which one to get. Not worried about the price I just want the best of the 3

Hi. Thnx 4 the video. Yes u r right there could be differencies on the bins that used by HLG. And this could result the higher efficacy about 2.67. But 0.17 more efficacy is not worth the 3x more the price that HLG demands compared the chinese boards and strips because they are all Samsung chips used. I really whished to get some test videos on the cheap chinese products to compare. Would be nice.
We're currently designing a huge LED comparison test that will use laboratory data on output, efficiency, spectrum, etc... Stay tuned. The full blog post will be on GrowersHouse.com/blog and we'll make a video overview in the coming month or two ;)

How are they designed to last longer, that is different MW drivers? Sure they have different amps, volts and watts that very but this is completely absurd. Drivers can be made with different components. Some components are better than others, which can manifest in terms of decreasing electrical resistance, better cooling, longer life, etc... One example is potting material. Potting material is a clay like substance that fills around the circuit inside the sealed drivers. If you have a better potting material, the driver will run cooler, which will slightly increase output and make it last longer.
