@@canxplorer Give Amu- Ramen a try if you like ramen, I prefer it over the popular Arashi. If you want a nice fancier dinner Rustica in Silvertip above Canmore is awesome for steak. And if you want some ice cream Cow's is reliably good for a cone but Lovely Ice Cream in Canmore has a few different locations depending on time of year and their stuff is flat out amazing. Cowboy Coffee is my fav.

Please arrive early if you plan to use Banff Gondola since the parking lot will fill up very soon. A half-price ticket is available if you hike up Sulphur Mountain and ride the Gondola one-way backdown. You can also go to Bow Falls and Bow river trail.
I also suggest spending a day in Banff national park. You can easily visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise! Since the parking lot for those two lakes are full so soon in the morning, you can use the shuttle to Lake Louis and Moraine Lake. Please go to the day use of this website reservation.pc.gc.ca/ to book the ticket for the shuttle and do it ASAP to make sure you can get a spot. If you have time, I also suggest visiting Peyto Lake.
I'm English, I live in UK. I once visited Banff, many years ago ( 1978 ) Recall there was a Cinema next Hotel I was staying at. Banff, now looks more Commercial + lots more visitors than i remember. Sorry for being boringly nostalgic. Anyway, Peace to all.
