And once they see the Tarnished, the reputation they’ve gained across the lands between that everyone knows to just attack them on site lest they be felled lol

And yeah it's weapon does look kinda like a rake. 0:09 Young Carbot is not going to have a good time. 0:14 This thing will attack when you get too close. 0:21 Don't bother trying to hide behind the Dead Pots, this thing can and will destroy them 0:25 It's attacks also include Smough Smash 0:30 And sadly sometimes you'll be molested by some other enemies during this miniboss. Do yourself a favor and first kill surrounding enemies. 0:32 And this is another attack Avatar has. Projectiles. 0:38 Good shot on the Avatar here (also this thing like Margit likes to delay it's attacks) 0:42 Honestly if you ask me this boss fight isn't that hard. Just get on Torrent and you are golden. Makes this fight much easier. Carbot over here didn't realize that yet it seems. 0:50 Avatar wants to play again 0:53 And THIS is why you fight this thing, after beating it (or finding it under the tree) you get crystal tears which you can use in a special bottle which you can infuse with 2 tears like that. Those here from left give those abilities: -First one from left gives you a bubble that will protect you from like 99% of damage next time you are hit, great for certain bosses -Next one temporarily boosts Stamina -Blue one for a while eliminates all fp consumption which is VERY good if you have something like Comet Asure. You will melt certain bosses or annoying minibosses with it. Trust me. There are some VERY annoying ones -And the last one restores half of total HP. As you can tell mix of first one and last one is the best one here. It will help immensely. 1:01 Good neighbear Runebear. My favorite character. 1:05 I guess this is symbolic of destroying the skulls for 1st level runes. 1:10 Neighbear Runebear kindly asks to GET OFF HIS PROPERTY

For those curious, actually constantly staying behind the Avatar is the easiest. Except the putrid ones, but simply roll/run away when it does the goomba stomp AOE, then get back to hitting its backside with flame related attacks.
You still have doubts? Lets see...you release death to the world, kill the only thing(Radahn) that was keeping the creatures of stars in check, led Blaidd to madness, released the frenzied flame from its prison and you let Melina die for you to become Elden Lord.

@a proverbial lemon It's stuff like that in this game that doesn't work for me. The ancestral spirits attack you on sight. There is no player choice here. The game is simply full of things that want to kill you, for no apparent reason.
Bloodflame helps with these. I had to cheese the rot versions with a bow. Love how you turned him into an avid golfer, and lawn enthusiast. And the callback of the bear with shotgun breath was great.
These are so freakin clever. Truly understanding of how the game feels, but also adding all the bonus touches that take it to a new absurd awesome level, from the sitcom music and set up, to things like the Rune symbol instantly appearing after our Tarnished gets launched to the routing and rerouting. Brilliant and funny.

Try Frost and try lightning. They are almost completely immune to bleed
