My late father who owned about every brand had a 65 Super Sport that had a 327, I do remember that it had bucket seats and the V8 with flags on the fender and my late Mom wasn't happy because they had three kids and it was a two door with bucket seats and Dad had just traded his Falcon Futura two door for it and she wanted a four door. Dad went out and bought her a new 66 Chevy Biscayne two door with a 327, which was replaced by a Plymouth Sport Fury. She finally got a four door early seventies Nova. Dad just wasn't going to drive a four door. Dad's 65 was white with blue interior. Always enjoy how you relate to everyone who you come in contact with. Awesome! Great day to be alive!! KC and Sunshine band was big when I was in highschool.
Thank yall so much for going to pams coffee shop the waitress in the video is not only my mother but the owner of the restaurant. It absolutely made her day that yall did this she has worked there since she was 15 and raised 3 kids alone she is the most amazing woman and I love her very much.
I totally love this video. But i feel really sad for this gentlemen. I’m sure there is more to this video than we see. Dennis is a exceptional guy. The owner of the car. That guy is a great guy and you can tell. His son and grandson will have some great memories. Im only 17 minutes in to the video. It runs in my family and I expect I will be this gentlemen, sooner before later. God bless us all
Thank you Dennis for keeping this channel true to old guys that love cars and your channel taking us a new journey every week Thank you to everyone on your team 👍👍👍
Dennis, always pays full price, how cool, this car is clean underneath, frame, quaters, rockers, this guy had a nice dry garage, nothing but respect for this guy and his car quests.
Dennis, You never fail to teach and share knowledge without coming across as arrogant or rude! My wife is in the Dallas area this weekend and she is supposed to come by your dealership to pick up some coffee and other merchandise for me! An autograph would be awesome, Thanks for being such an inspiration to us all! 🙏✝️🙏
Danggggg..too bad you didn't get dibs on the SS one he had! That grandson has a very generous grandfather! Hope they appreciate, truly appreciate him for that. But the FF Malibu is in pretty good condition and shouldn't take much to get it right (depending on the engine and the normal stuff that goes astray from sitting so long). Would like to see that again after it's given the much needed care. Follow up please!
I love these cars! My buddy had one like this, but it had been painted with flat black primer, caked with bondo, and was rusted out from being in the north east. That was back in the mid eighties. Such a great survivor. I’d wash it, get it running, new casings, professional detailing and drive it.
Growing up my neighbor had the same exact car. 64 silver blue, 283, power glide with silver blue interior. I was only 9-10 years old but fell in love with that car
I used to have a 64 Chevelle SS Munci M21 with 283 bought just after HS graduation in 1975. I swapped the engine out for a 327 out of a 1965 Impala SS powerslide. Drove the SS Chevelle all through college and to my first post-college graduation interview.
Of all the car shows on the planet, Coffee walk is the best of the best of the best for sure.Dennis Collins,is the king of custom cars, and Alex is an awesome car restorer, and the camera guy is cool too!
I watch these sporadically and every time I do, I tell myself to keep up with them better. These episodes often warm the soul and get the heart pumping. Dennis always appears to be a gentleman, respectful of the person, their situation, the history of the car, their history of the car and doesn’t try to beat them down to score a deal. I first watch him through GMG stuff. GMG lost its appeal to me with the buy it for nothing, put lipstick and bright colors on it by a deadline and sell it for a fortune. I know a lot of that stuff is show biz. But I tend to like Dennis’ pace as opposed to Richard’s. I know they’re great friends and in the business. Liked, shared, subscribed, and I vow to watch more Coffee Walks, Mr. Collins. It also always fascinates me to see how people prepare their breakfast. Always interesting and you can learn a lot about a person by their breakfast habits. …And a tip of the cap 🧢 to Mr. Williamson for preserving that beauty of a gem all these years. I’d love to have that big ole shop of his.
What that car isn't, in this video? A cliche. A good looking classic. That's one thing I really appreciate about the channel. No cookie cutter restomods or protouring cars. Not that I can't appreciate a nice homebuilt streetmachine. Makes me miss my 64 Malibu, I had in the mid 90s. Drove it from Nebraska to Phoenix a few times around when I went to graphic design school.
Nice car. Year I was born. I had a 71. A little bigger. Valuable first year car. 327 .Friend has a 65. Not running. Love those rally wheels. Look cool. Love it. ❤❤😎👍😘😁
Dennis I love to watch you guys you put on a show your knowledge of the cars is fantastic I am from the older crowd and there has been times that you have been telling us what this and that knob does and I laugh because I had one of cars and had no idea what its function was lol love it
My first car I almost bought was a 64 Malibu that was same color but had bucket seats and floor shifter & console but had no motor and at that age that was more than I could have handled or so I thought so I didnt get it but I am 53 now and have thought about that car regularly since first laying eyes on it. If I would have been the lucky one finding this one it would get brought to daily driver status asap and driven to every cruise in and car show I could get to. The nonnumbers maching just feels like a permission slip to changing drivetrain to a spicier small block and something with more than two speeds. Good luck with her and I hope to see more of it in future episodes.
Thought I was watching the groggiest Dennis I’d ever seen! Then I realized the playback speed was set to 0.75 😮 Relieved to see everyone back up to speed, thanks for sharing ❤
I got so tired of looking for putty knives in the van I just bought a bunch of them and just threw them in the back and I still had to look for them and it reminds of your struggles to find tools.
I was the second owner of a 64 Malibu Chevelle SS. Muncie 4 speed, 283 with factory performance cams, factory headers, twin exhaust, Rochester 4 barrel carb. Yes it had the bucket seats with center console. The metallic blue( your silver blue). Man do I miss that car. I still have the SS hub caps because I put the Chrome Crager SS wheels on it.
Excellent, my first car was a 1964 Malibu Super Sport. My second car "is" a 1969 Chevelle Super Sport built in Fremont California. I bought it in 1974(junior)in high school. It's in my garage right now. big block 396 4 speed car.
Great video. Love how you listen to the older man's stories. Some people would cut him off and or make some off handed comments. Dennis and your crew always show how true character is.
I love the older cars … I wanna have one just in running condition doesn’t have to be perfect just for back and forth to work …. Beautiful car by the way
That's a super cool car. I'd drive it just the way it is. When I was a little kid, my dad had a '63 Impala SS 327 that was this color or something really close.
Three vehicals I wish I still had. My 1st one was a 1968 Dodge Corenet white top, blue body. My 2nd was a 1959 Chevy Apache step side black with hydromatic transmission and then my 3rd was a 1969 Chevy Malibu blue. The 1st one I had a flat tire and when I went back to get it it had been towed because someone hit in the rear and put the trunk in the front seat. Sold the 2nd one because I didnt have the money to get the brakes fixed right and thge 3rd my gf at the time had a wreck in it and it was completely totaled. I love seeing you rescue all these great cars and maybe one day I can come up and see your shop.
Honey! Dennis just rescued your old Malibu! OK, Dennis, it needs new paint, in 1980 my wife had one of these and she custom mixed Gold with multi color sparkles paint. I want it, for her.
Just Love, the 19. 64 and 1965 chevelles the one I had was the 300 post coupe with back then the 300 horse 327 with a four speed and a 12 bolt rear end. Wish I had that car back today
I have a slight preference to the ‘65, but this ‘64 really catches my eye. If it were me, I’d convert it to front disc brakes, detail the daylights out of it, then drive and enjoy it as is. Neat little Malibu. Being a Fremont car would be a bonus to me because the GM Fremont plant (now Tesla) is about half an hour from me.
To bad it's not original motor, car is in terrific shape. But also means you can put a 383 stroker, LS, 327, or 350 & have a nice cruiser. I love the old school rally wheels, simple and cool.
Once again great video from dennis & the crew. 1 thing tho. How has a company not noticed the fact these guys are in good need of some small but bright torches they can use instead of phones. So come on send these guys a big box of torches they can leave in all their truck . 😀

Kia Ora Dennis and team Grant and Janeane Davis form Auckland New Zealand,we were please to meet u last couple weeks you gave up your valuable time to talk to us we really appreciate that, also the lovely ladyin your office who showed us a round your complex(sorry her name.escapes us) cheers
It’s an all original car. Don’t start cutting it up and keep the big heavy gas guzzler engine out of it. Basically keep all stock. It will be worth more later in its life. Basically when it comes to these classic cars if they have been cut up,engine changes, color changes etc , I don’t buy them. Thanks
Mine was dark blue,250HP 327 4speed. My daily driver and weekend drag car. Best run ever from that little E Stock car was 105 MPH in 13.05 seconds at Fremont Drag Strip in Fremont Ca sometim in summer 1965. Had to sell when I went to RVN in Sept 1965.
Dad's was the 300 sedan with the 6 replaced with a a 60 over 292. It ran in the u stock class somehow with the 292 🤫. Don't remember the times, it was about 1975 until about 78 and I was 4-7 going to the dragstrip. 😊
Was at small town outside Lexington ky. Saw plaque that said Joe Bob was state senator from 1790-1804 and then was US senator from 1804-1822. Approx. some places are old. In the US.
One of my relatives had one of these when I was growing up; 6 cyl, hard top in red. A nice car as I'm sure this one will be. Always a favorite body style of mine.
Swap in a built 327 with 350 turbo transmission. Throw some disc brakes up front and a little steeper gear in back and drive the snot out of it. Great car guys.
Dennis and his crew always leads by example Im sure a lot of others on here feel the same. Respect ✊ guys
I would buff it out get it running good and drive it 😊
Hell,yes!!!!!
Absolutely ! Lovely car 👌🏻
I want a 1963 ~ 1967 Chevy Nova...I would drive it as my primary car. 6 cylinder manual tyranny.
Nothing electronic (except the radio)
😁
Add an air conditioner too. Nice little cruiser
I would do the exact same thing That's a pretty car the way it sits. Make it run drive stop and enjoy it
Beautiful Malibu nice to see it getting saved
Thank yall so much for going to pams coffee shop the waitress in the video is not only my mother but the owner of the restaurant. It absolutely made her day that yall did this she has worked there since she was 15 and raised 3 kids alone she is the most amazing woman and I love her very much.

Absolute pleasure to watch how you guys respect the people you deal with. Superb
Great find with it also being kept inside all this time.
Thank you Dennis for keeping this channel true to old guys that love cars and your channel taking us a new journey every week Thank you to everyone on your team 👍👍👍
What a little sweetheart and appears to be an incredibly solid survivor. Nice find ..... 😊
Cool chevelle! I drove a ‘66 Malibu for two years during my college days. 1974/75. This car brings back those great memories. Nice episode guys!!
Dennis, always pays full price, how cool, this car is clean underneath, frame, quaters, rockers, this guy had a nice dry garage, nothing but respect for this guy and his car quests.
Dennis,
You never fail to teach and share knowledge without coming across as arrogant or rude!

Outstanding!! 👍
Absolutely phenomenal car to save!! Gorgeous!! Stay blessed!!

What a great find Dennis ,in my opinion best of the Malibu body styles. Smiles 😃 from 🇨🇦
👍👍🇨🇦
Rescued a great car, helped that guy out, and had a great breakfast. That's a good morning!
Mr. B. Here ! Mr. Collins ; that is a sweet ride , clean it up make it roadworthy and enjoy it ! ☕️☕️🍩
Of all the car shows on the planet, Coffee walk is the best of the best of the best for sure.Dennis Collins,is the king of custom cars, and Alex is an awesome car restorer, and the camera guy is cool too!
Quickly becoming my new favorite channel. Love watching you guys.
Dennis is the best I'm from the Phillipines but always watch coffee walk God bless u and your crew
Love it how you guys find a local Cafe to eat at after you're done with the car buy! Texas has some great cafe's!

What a really nice Malibu with an amazing story to share with it!
And.........Another Awesome Coffee Walk, what a solid car. Those Rally's sure look good with that tire size. Great stance, nice Score !
Nice straight, honest Malibu that hasn’t been messed with - fantastic!
A couple of cool gearhead, car guys. Dennis, you're true blue. Alex, I've watched you become World Class in the restoration field. Thanks 2 Zakk too.
What a sweet ride! Love the skirted rear tire.
As far as being organized Dennis, a simple checklist used before you leave the shop is all it would take. TIMBO
Dennis I love to watch you guys you put on a show your knowledge of the cars is fantastic I am from the older crowd and there has been times that you have been telling us what this and that knob does and I laugh because I had one of cars and had no idea what its function was lol love it
Always cracks me up watching Dennis'
knife and fork skills 😂
Im sure we have something like nearly a death penalty or at least 25yrs in prison for fork abuse here in europe..
My first car I almost bought was a 64 Malibu that was same color but had bucket seats and floor shifter & console but had no motor and at that age that was more than I could have handled or so I thought so I didnt get it but I am 53 now and have thought about that car regularly since first laying eyes on it. Would like to see more episodes with Kelsey...thank you
Thought I was watching the groggiest Dennis I’d ever seen! Then I realized the playback speed was set to 0.75 😮
Relieved to see everyone back up to speed, thanks for sharing ❤
I do remember the Malibu introduced by the cast of Bewitched back in 1964.
Very nice example!
Outstanding!
I got so tired of looking for putty knives in the van I just bought a bunch of them and just threw them in the back and I still had to look for them and it reminds of your struggles to find tools.
Vary sweet deal on the beautiful old car. Nice job Dennis. Sweet.
No matter what,,,,rescuing any car/truck is always 101.....simple tools and knowledge,,,and that will never change......tnx,pat..land o' lakes,wi.
What a nice little car
Clean and a polish and it is good to go 👍👍
Dennis pretty cool video! I am sure this Malibu will make someone an outstanding project!
And I've always been a big fan of the 283! And PowerGlide. Those 283's were absolutely bulletproof!
58-62 283s are Siamese blocks, you can put a 4 inch bore in them.
I live in Granbury ...loved this episode! I had a 64 malibu like this one but black with red interior ...Great car! Pam's is a great place to eat too!
Excellent, my first car was a 1964 Malibu Super Sport. My second car "is" a 1969 Chevelle Super Sport built in Fremont California. I bought it in 1974(junior)in high school. It's in my garage right now. big block 396 4 speed car.

Just crazy these classics sit and rot for decades this one in really nice condition wow!
Great video. Love how you listen to the older man's stories. Some people would cut him off and or make some off handed comments.
Dennis and your crew always show how true character is.
I love the older cars … I wanna have one just in running condition doesn’t have to be perfect just for back and forth to work …. Beautiful car by the way
You need to do "Ice Tea Walk" in the heat of the summer!!!!! To damn hot to be drinking coffee!!! LOL
That's a super cool car. I'd drive it just the way it is. When I was a little kid, my dad had a '63 Impala SS 327 that was this color or something really close.
I owned a 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS, that was a 4 speed, SIX cylinder car from the factory. When I got it in 1971 it had a 327 auto in it.
What a gorgeous Malibu, a real survivor, don't paint it, just clean it up and put some tires and brakes on it, perfection 👌💙
Totally agree. Drive and smile
100%

OK, Dennis, it needs new paint, in 1980 my wife had one of these and she custom mixed Gold with multi color sparkles paint. I want it, for her.
Bring back some good memories. I had a 1964 Chevy 11.
Just Love, the 19. 64 and 1965 chevelles the one I had was the 300 post coupe with back then the 300 horse 327 with a four speed and a 12 bolt rear end. Wish I had that car back today

Many memories in a little red Malibu of that very vintage...
dude is so knowledgeable
Thankful for you Dennis and your crew. GOD continue to Bless You and Your Family 🙏
For years as a young tried to one of these in neighborhood. Favorite Malibu
Always wanted to live in TX but the more you guys talk about the heat the more I want to stay in Maine! Awesome cah btw!
My buddy just came back from there and said it was 120 deg in the parking lot, he wanted to get home so bad. 😂
Get one one house in Texas and one in Maine. Then go north when it gets hot and south when it gets cold.
Another great show folks, keep em coming!!!!!!!!
Nice change to see an old Chev. I had a 67 Chevelle SS in high school.
Suka dengan konten ini selalu menampilkan mobil2 yang cukup antik dan setelah di restorasi hasilnya cukup memuaskan, anda memang hebat 👍 .. Saya dari south Borneo Indonesia.
My father had a 64 Malibu SS. Automatic, Black. I loved that car. But that one's proper hot rod material.
Interesting car, Got to love those prestine gauges. Outstanding!
Great find Dennis! I would absolutely tub that car with a 502 or bigger.
It’s an all original car. Don’t start cutting it up and keep the big heavy gas guzzler engine out of it. Basically keep all stock. It will be worth more later in its life. Basically when it comes to these classic cars if they have been cut up,engine changes, color changes etc , I don’t buy them. Thanks
You meet a lot of interesting people & find a lot of interesting cars. Thank you~from Cut & Shoot (Montgomery county TX)
Cool looking car, great episode guys
Would be a great car to restore. Looks like zero rust and zero damage.

Great video. Dennis and his crew are a class act. Thanks for sharing
Always amazes me the car knowledge Dennis has off the top of his head about everything!
Improvise, adapt, overcome, works every time.
I was in tears when Alex told Dennis about the keys always being in the car somewhere .
Nice straight original car!
Congratulations 🎊!!!
Great find!!!
Hands down best car show on TH-cam
One of my relatives had one of these when I was growing up; 6 cyl, hard top in red. A nice car as I'm sure this one will be. Always a favorite body style of mine.
Swap in a built 327 with 350 turbo transmission. Throw some disc brakes up front and a little steeper gear in back and drive the snot out of it. Great car guys.
