It’s hard for me to trust the objectivity of a sponsored video. It’s not the creator’s fault that TH-cam incentivizes “sponsored” (I.e. paid reviews). Creators need income, just like everyone else. That said, sponsored videos are commercials that have the appearance of objectivity because they’re put together by TH-camrs we’ve come to rely on. None of this is to say that this channel doesn’t really believe in this product or that the product isn’t good. I’m just saying that a company would not be paying for a bad review, so TH-cam creators have a strong incentive to create positive reviews so they can make money from the companies that sell products they’re reviewing.
@roncronovich9095 Whilst I completely understand what you mean by having a potential for bias when doing sponsored videos, I can assure you that every single sponsored video I have ever done or accepted, was only after I have thoroughly tested a project or if I use a product regularly already and am a fan of it. For example, other videos that I have that are sponsored videos are by companies that I have been using for many years prior to even considering a sponsored video. As a channel built on providing free content and highlighting free edtech products I take integrity and honesty very seriously. I have also got many companies reaching out to me. Almost on a daily basis asking to do sponsored spots and 99% of these, I either turn down or I do not even consider because I do not use the product. That being said. I would like you to make your own judgment and decision so maybe give the free version a go and see if it works for you, if you like it, then this video can show you what you get when ysing the full version. This is a sponsored video as I have the full version and have to declare this as a sponsored video because that, in effect, is a sponsorship. Hope this all makes sense.
This is a dream if it works this well across a range of subjects!
@JamesAbela tested it with many different assignments, and so far, working great!

@@roncronovich9095 I’d say I trust a sponsored video more than one that doesn’t declare. Anyway we can give it a go on a free package.

@ It does make sense and thank you for the thoughtful reply.
