That is the first thing that came to mind for me. The hedge by my porch garden is home to several finch families that think I am growing peas for them lol
I bought some when they were first available for sale, and I'm loving them! They've been a lifesaver for some young plants that were planted really late this year.
We haven't tested them for this purpose (we don't have a lot of squirrels here!). But we are starting to hear that gardeners are using them for critter prevention!
@@GreenStalkGarden REALLY!!! OMG! The little "critters" decimated my fall garden 😭. I have tried it all except chicken wire. They attack the GreenStalk too! Nothing is safe.
Hmm. Might be good for breeze but honestly can’t see how it would be helpful for anything else. It doesn’t cover the plant on all sides so no greenhouse effect.
Wow Lovely Planting

My friend, have a good relationship 😊
I bought enough for a whole planter, and I love that my seedlings are now protected from birds (especially peas sprouting).🙂

I am loving mine so far in my test pocket growing radishes. I am going to go full force this Spring and Summer with the pile of them I bought 😀
We can't wait to see what you grow! - Cody

Can't wait to use mine!
Awesome! 😀😀😀
Will try them for winter sowing soon.I actually forgot I had them, so I will start some seedlings for spring in my greenstalk. ❤
Do you folks think it will help a little with the squirrels? 🤔

I have a chipmunk that likes to dig in my lower tier of my green stock and plant his sunflower seeds.

Doesn't the heat just escape out the top? How much difference does it actually make?
