@@sevurueva5138this is me with Beth, her character makes it so hard to watch the show I mean she’s so damn corny and edgy it hurts. It’s the reason some friends and family dropped the show 😭
This relationship shows what actual love is. In shows and movies its always this perfect scenario with comical adversity tropes and a happy ending. Real love is dealing with your partners weaknesses and fears, real love is raising a child together and sacrificing for it, real love is dealing with deep, painful issues with your partners family. It's what pushes you through those problems. It's what makes you get up in the morning when all you want to do is make the world go away. You do it for that other person and for that love, even when it hurts you. That is love. There is no human bond stronger when its real.
I love the show but Kayce needs to sit down and have an honest 2 sided conversation with Monica. Their relationship is always based on her wants. She doesn't want the ranch life but she will live on the reservation. Kayce's family is so wrong for fighting for their land but her family is okay for fighting for their land.
@@mase5995 im pretty sure it was one of her college students who was also her therapist... It was weird... They would've even made a perfect match if she didn't already have a perfect match that she was willfully pushing away due to events that weren't his fault.
I really feel like Monica and Tate really bring down Kayce as a character, at least as far as the writing goes. Monica with her mood swings is really annoying and Tate isn't the best actor unless it's the writing. Either way , I hope it improves in Season 5!!!
Tate has potential. He has his father's strong will, the Dutton family willpower, I can see it. And one day that will give him everything that his family has and more.
It was John’s desire, Kacey’s need, and Tate’s dream. All she did was agree. It wasn’t what she wanted, and it’s like y’all purposely miss that because she agreed. Just because she says yes, it makes it her idea?
I don't know who writes for Monica and now Summer but as an actress I would be pretty pissed off that they can't write a storyline for the characters other than being a woke damsel in distress. I don't like Monica's character because she's not written consistently. One minute she's a fierce strong activist mother, teacher, the next she wants to curl up and be at home and become a baby factory. The Summer character, after his affair with the governor who was refined and poised, but tough and smart, to stick John with someone like that was eye-rolling cringe. This past season was( I believe ) the beginning to the end of my Yellowstone watching days. After the family massacre, that following season having it all unfold I felt was disorganized and slapped together. It wasn't like the first 3 seasons.
I agree with all the comments about Monica and her self-righteousness in her whining and crying and her overprotectiveness of her child however you got to see a larger picture. Being Native American will always hold a certain Unforgivable view of her and the ancestral overtaking. After all Native Americans hold a level-headed spiritual way of existing
@@godssara6758 your comment isn't worth a debate and all comments are a point of view that has significant I would like you to show me how Native Americans were not victims
@@darlenejohnson3529 You're kidding, right? Let's ignore the fact that you acknowledged that Monica is a bad person but then excused it with "she's native lol" for a second. The natives were NOT victims. It's clear you never picked up a history book or learned how to use google and instead keep regurgitating stupid talking points. Natives sold land to Europeans. That's a fact. If you want to cry and do the whole "BUT THE NATIVES DIDN'T THINK LIKE THAT" then I'm going to ask why that's more important than the European way of thinking? From the Euro POV they bought land fairly from the natives. Just because someone got the worse end of the deal it doesn't make the deal null and void. Furthermore, the natives were brutal. They kidnapped, raped and murdered children on a fairly regular basis. Hannah Duston's week old baby had their head bashed against a tree after they kidnapped her and then forced her into slavery. There's literally *thousands* of cases exactly like this. Now you being the poorly educated idiot that you are, you're probably going to whine about "muh stolen land" and after laughing for 5 solid minutes I'd say, so what? That so called "stolen" land was bought or conquered. The natives we took it from took it from someone else as well, so why are Americans the bad guys when they conquer land? And besides, literally every race and ethnicity wages war and conquers land, but I don't hear you sobbing over the land the French or the Germans or even the land that the Mongolians lost, just the natives, why is that? Either you're native, which means there's a bias and you can be ignored, or you somehow think that the native have a right to conquer and raid.
i haven't seen this series. but when monica just said to kayce something about the navy. then i remembered that the actor that plays kayce is also in American Sniper (which who his character in that movie is in the Navy Seals). any connection? lol
Kate's character as a young kid has a need for answers in the differences of culture. In my opinion Tate has a much wider scope of what's going on between these battles. He was kidnapped remember and he dealt with that better than most of us could have but he seems to be doing better. He had to shoot somebody he lost his unborn brother watched his mother have issues and what this does for him is to love both heritages
Wish my ex would have done something like this. Instead she got serious with her replacement of me, blocked me on everything after we said we could talk it out. Haven't seen or heard from her since she gave my stuff back. I see her and I a lot in Monica and Kayce. Broke down when they got back together and embraced. I wanted that. So bad.
That’s what happens in real life most of the time. You’ll be better off to move on yourself. Sitting around wanting a woman to realize she messed up will take a lifetime. And if she thinks you will wait on her she will only see it as a sign of weakness and take advantage of the situation. You do not want that
Omg, life is random. Sometimes people make up and sometimes they don’t. Let’s not be bleak about life, and be hopeful that the next relationship we embark on is our forever one.
I don't know why people hate on Monica. John Dutton wanted her to get an abortion, her son was kidnapped because of the Duttons, her son had to kill someone that was attacking her because of the Duttons, Kayce killed her brother-in-law in dispute with Duttons and her son was stillborn yet people say she's the problem?! I would hate the Dutton's ranch, too.
But Kayce Dutton stood up to his father and even got branded. As for her brother, first he connived to get Kayce involved in the Yellowstone cattle thing, and then he connived to murder Lee and also tried to kill Kayce. So you certainly can't blame Kayce or the Duttons for that. Not even in terms of the stillborn son. She was driving really fast. Too fast.
@scalar12 But that doesn't negate the fact that her son was kidnapped because of the Duttons, and her son had to kill someone who was attacking her because of the Duttons. She got her faults, but as a mother, I would hate the ranch, too. Her son has been traumatized because of the Duttons. Her son is innocent and look at what he had to go through before the age of 10 years old.
@@scalar12 True but she can be frustrated and scared at how they want Tate to be raised in such a troublesome ranch. I mean, look at how Beth and the rest of the kids turned out damaged and traumatized.
@@jayclearmen411 Well if you are wanting someone who will accept every thing you want . Only your parents Otherwise with a straight relationship it beats me that it is a constant search for compromise.
I get that the Dutton's are the main character in this and we root for them, but I don't understand the hate towards Monica. Her fears are valid. John is not a "good guy".
He's just a man protecting what's his and his family.... by all means necessary.... my grandfather is and was like John Dutton....he has always the leader of our family.
She's full of random drama and goes back and forth between being normal and completely unhinged with zero provocation. Her storyline should include a therapist and medication.
I think Monica has to have somebody to blame especially after they give her everything and she drives there cars and spends their money and she eats there food. Before she only had a can of damn beans in her little trailer and they had nothing. John does everything for her and Kasey and his family. I love the way that Kasey loves her so much and she kinda was liking that guy in the pool during her physical therapy.
Monica gets on my nerves!! Always complaining. Damn. Ever heard of STAND BY YOUR MAN!!!! He basically shunned his father for her and that's still not enough.
Got a feeling Monica wont be on the earth long, and Kayce will end up with Avery. Surely had his a history with the native people and had many life times, with more than just one wife.
Anyone who can judge Monica clearly hasn't seen it from both sides like I have dealt with, when you're whole life all you've known is you blood family and that bond. It's hard to let that go, and build a life for yourselves. When family is close like that it's harder for some to go on with their lives. I mean look at Beth, nobody says anything about her leaving the family
Monica better not be on no bs S5. I can’t stand her character, always sobbing and crying and blaming the Duttons. I gave her enough chances, if she dies next season I won’t feel bad for her. Kayce and Tate, I’ll feel bad for them since I enjoy their characters. I rather deal with Beth, who I also don’t like, than have to deal with enough “I blame the Duttons this, I blame the Duttons that”.
I fucking hate that paramount advertises this fucking show on their network but for some fucking reason it’s not on their own app, and it sucks cause now I got a pbs account to watch only this show
20:35 This is the point I was done with Monica’s shit, she gaslit Kayce so much at this point. Everything Kayce did and said was him being a good father and husband, she never begged him to not take them there, if anything it’s quite the opposite. She forced him to leave them into his “evil” father’s hands, took the job that said father offered her, cheated in Kayce with zero guilt or hesitation, and probably the worst of all she takes advantage of his father while also constantly talking about how bad he is for them
She'll never be written off. She'll get a spin off that will be nothing but righting the wrongs of her people, and they will name you personally at the start of every episode because you're so fucking soft.
I want to like them together so bad because Kayce loves her so much but she drives me crazy. She yanks him all over the place and tries to make him feel guilty for being a Dutton and is very self righteous. Also knowing the actress lied about being native pisses me off more. I just can’t get on board with her character.
This is a little off subject. But after watching your commercials, I used to be a lover of pecan pie, pumpkin pie, and cherry pie. After that feminine wash commercial I think I like honey pie best!
Yes. They met when they were teenagers and instantly fell in love. She got pregnant, and John Dutton wanted her to get an abortion. Kacey refused, was branded by JD, and then Kacey left for the Navy and became a Navy Seal. He, Monica and Tate lived on bases for years until after the war, and then they returned to the reservation. That’s where Yellowstone starts off with their story in the first episode Daybreak.
i just dont see the "connection" between these 2 at all. its too ordinary. i dont feel the angst, the 'ill die w/o you' the intensity in lovemaking, & joy in playing, we all love to watch in movies.
I would like season 5 and perhaps season 6 if there is one, I wish Kayce and Monica had more screen time together and separately on the ranch, not to mention I always wanted at least one flashback of how they met and when Kayce left He moved away from Jhon because of the request he made to his son, who knows, maybe we'll have a flashback of them being young . And now with jhon leaving maybe will have more of kayce and monica in screen together
I seriously don’t understand why she married a white man and birthed his son if he hates him so much. And by him I mean his family his home everything he is. I’m asking why she chose him of all people
I like Monica... but she's super depressing. Wishing they will write her off from being his wife. Get him a new woman, give her a new storyline and toughen up his son. Lol!
Predicting Monica dies this season, finishing off the last of the original story lines pitting the Duttons against Rainwater/Tribe because that story line was so dull compared to 2 seasons of developer baddies . . . Please fix the trash story you have inflicted upon over the last 2 seasons, these actors are too good to be so damn one dimensional now.

But whose land is it first?
Y’all act like you didn’t take a history class growing up.
When Monica almost cheated on Kayce with one of her students.... Hoo boy.... Kayce deserves better and hopefully Monica becomes better...
I thought it was with her therapist
@@mase5995 im pretty sure it was one of her college students who was also her therapist... It was weird... They would've even made a perfect match if she didn't already have a perfect match that she was willfully pushing away due to events that weren't his fault.
hated the love triangle/avery storyline
didnt fit kayces characters to cheat on monica tbh
It actually made sense
nobody: Kayce you need to breathe
Kayce : i need to ask Monica.
I love Monica but she has to stop acting like moving to the ranch wasn’t her idea
It was John’s desire, Kacey’s need, and Tate’s dream. All she did was agree. It wasn’t what she wanted, and it’s like y’all purposely miss that because she agreed. Just because she says yes, it makes it her idea?
Good God, that was the best thing I've watched on TH-cam ever.
Writes? There's only one writer that does the entire show.... all of it. He also appears in it. Taylor Sheridan.
B.S. the Natives were not victims.
@@godssara6758 your comment isn't worth a debate and all comments are a point of view that has significant I would like you to show me how Native Americans were not victims
@@godssara6758ugh you’re insufferable too. You’d get along with Monica 🤣🤣🤣
Grow up
You have a false view of Natives. You've bought into the liberal "Noble Savage" horseshit.
I’m tired of Monica’s little girl attitude! It’s my way or no way and I’ll stomp my foot until you give in!
My favorite part is when Tate shot the man who attacked his mom. That kid’s a natural when it comes to taking a shot
i haven't seen this series. but when monica just said to kayce something about the navy. then i remembered that the actor that plays kayce is also in American Sniper (which who his character in that movie is in the Navy Seals). any connection? lol
Navy seal. Plot line during first season is re enlisting.
I love when Tate shoots the intruder
The boy is a Dutton, alright. We've seen him bond with his grandfather, and he can have a strong will like the rest of his family.
I meant to say Tate
@@stephinicarey8522 True, but you can't blame the Duttons for that. It's not their fault that someone is always trying to take their property.
Biggest ranch in the country? Sure she can! Took a whole heck a lot of reservation area and land other people could ranch. Kinda selfish
@@scalar12 True but she can be frustrated and scared at how they want Tate to be raised in such a troublesome ranch. I mean, look at how Beth and the rest of the kids turned out damaged and traumatized.
Wait, didn’t Monica cheat on Kayce too? But she wants Kayce to fight for her and Tate, but she can’t stay loyal to him?
That's the way women are
Exactly
Indeed that just women in general there complicated…I love em, but they’re ALOT! too much at times.
@@jayclearmen411 Well if you are wanting someone who will accept every thing you want . Only your parents
Otherwise with a straight relationship it beats me that it is a constant search for compromise.
Monica cheated? Did Kayce cheat?
Monica irritated the crap out of me... but Kacey has the most beautiful, soulful eyes that makes my knee wobbly. South Africa 🇿🇦
The world needs bad men. They keep the other bad men away from the door.
C'mon, she is a full drama queen. It's boring.
She's full of random drama and goes back and forth between being normal and completely unhinged with zero provocation. Her storyline should include a therapist and medication.
What the father, Really?
@2:55 that's why you take someone to hospital when they have head trauma even if they feel fine.
OMG this woman is NEVER satisfied - get rid of her!
I do not like Monica. She puts Kayce through hell. All she is does is complain.
Man… Kayce deserves better!!!!
@18:15 those were some pretty nice graphic!..
That shot gun blast looked like what I'd expect in real life!
Monica gets on my nerves!! Always complaining. Damn. Ever heard of STAND BY YOUR MAN!!!! He basically shunned his father for her and that's still not enough.
I love Kayce
Quiet!! Don't let Mónica find out about it....
@@johncharles2782 Lol I can take Monica just kidding
@@MissBrittany86 And.... I was serious big time!!!???
Got a feeling Monica wont be on the earth long, and Kayce will end up with Avery. Surely had his a history with the native people and had many life times, with more than just one wife.
Come on Monica lighten up. Kayce truly loves you and is incomplete without you.
15:08 and 25:38 Tate is so adorable! He's the comic relief of the show.
Monica go cry me a river and let me play you the worlds tiniest violin
Anyone who can judge Monica clearly hasn't seen it from both sides like I have dealt with, when you're whole life all you've known is you blood family and that bond. It's hard to let that go, and build a life for yourselves. When family is close like that it's harder for some to go on with their lives. I mean look at Beth, nobody says anything about her leaving the family
And I do see Monica's character from different points of views I I like her character I respect her character and her character has evolved
She forced him to leave them into his “evil” father’s hands, took the job that said father offered her, cheated in Kayce with zero guilt or hesitation, and probably the worst of all she takes advantage of his father while also constantly talking about how bad he is for them
I do like Kayce, yet, I do not like Monica, her character is boting. She is always complaining and never grateful.
Can’t stand Monica. Would like to see her written off. Enough of the victim hood already
She'll never be written off. She'll get a spin off that will be nothing but righting the wrongs of her people, and they will name you personally at the start of every episode because you're so fucking soft.
Same here
I agree.
Ugh. I try to like Monica. But she is such a drag
How did they meet? Have they talked about that yet?
Can I ask how her getting hit is John or Kaceys fault? I don’t get it.
Kayce makes too many sacrifices for Monica... I dislike her whining but that is just me
i just dont see the "connection" between these 2 at all. its too ordinary. i dont feel the angst, the 'ill die w/o you' the intensity in lovemaking, & joy in playing, we all love to watch in movies.
Freaking adorable!!!!
Tate smarter than most adults in the days world.
Tate is like Casey, groomed in the fire from childhood.
She was better in Wind River
Thinking the city is safer is pretty dumb.
I could never forgive Monica for what she did. Truly Hurt me to my core.
Son totally looks like kayce
I seriously don’t understand why she married a white man and birthed his son if he hates him so much. And by him I mean his family his home everything he is. I’m asking why she chose him of all people
What a great serie.
Yes and I'm hating to see it end. I really wish they could find a way to keep it going.
I like Monica... but she's super depressing. Wishing they will write her off from being his wife. Get him a new woman, give her a new storyline
and toughen up his son. Lol!
Monica represents normalcy.
Ребята, это крутой сериал,актеры играют так что забываешь,что это фильм, СПАСИБО БОЛЬШОЕ ЗА ЭМОЦИИ!!!!!
So much Monica hate in here geez 🙄
A very beatiful couple and the charming son make the family great although difficulties.
Anniqa fr.Sweden Big fan❤
The whole point is to never keep playing the victim card.
Close but no cigar
don't craniotomy requires to shave your head for operation
@3:05 Its so hard to not see characters as they are from Sunny after they are on that show a few times. 🤣
Kayce needs to tuffen up. I love the show.
Sorry monica's monotone acting is the worst on the series.please do the series a favor and get her some lessons.. does she even see Kelly or Kevin ? Her facial expression is deadpan and emotionless and the same for any scene
At least get her character a recast. She's a bad actor, boring and dull. Get a real native woman this time.
Kasey loves his family. Monica needs to let Kasey parent.
Kaycee & Monica foreverrrrrrrrr
Love Is Magical ❤️❤️
not sure why they thought she could get casted to play a native person..she's half white half chinese ffs ahah doesn't look native american in the slightest.
Yup. And she has sour face the whole show.
Strange how both John and Monica’s dad both called Tate grandson instead of his name
Rip needs to give her a ride to the train station
Amen. I’d be fine if Beth caught the train as well. She irritates me to no end.
Nope. Rip would kill anybody who try to harm Beth with his bare hands. He would to the train station himself if it's going to keep Beth safe.
Monica is the most dislikable character of the show. All she does is wine and complain. Constantly depressed and mopey. She doesn’t posses the slightest bit of levity.
