A female student called Sydney told me she hopes she'll be the one who will train the model who will take over the world and b. I came upon a copy of a new book about AI by Stuart Russel and Peter Norvig and I actually read it.. And understood this is the real heart of darkness that the human race can go down to: To invent an intelligent slave whom you can create instances of, then make an instance run and terminate the instance once he finishes the run.. 😢. And then there's the other option: Just erase his memory every prompt. Simpler, more cost effective. More secure. I'd put down the book thinking: Well, until they will have such smart models I'll be long dead so no worries here. And then ChatGPT came out.. Exactly like in the book. Well, at least they work by the book.
