Milan has given him, Giroud, and Loftus-cheeks (all former Chelsea) a new lease on life. If Pulisic can stay healthy, he can develop into a world class player. His pace and control are tremendous. He is even playing hard on defense now. That portion of his game was missing until now. I wish him and Milan, well.
I said the same thing! To me that is a huge feather in his cap. Because it means at 25 years old and having played professionally for almost a decade - he is still coach able. I am almost POSITIVE there has been an emphasis on defensive work rate from the coaches. Its Serie A - its just the way things are done here. The fact that he has several important interceptions and defensive moments as a winger is significant. Its a great sign.
Pulisic probably won’t ever be world class. Very good, maybe, but not world class.

@@rentfree2377 he could if he does even better next season with Milan possibly winning trophies + his season is impressive considering he played out of position making him a very reliable player.
The issue is, he hardly stays healthy...

ALSO - underrated part of his campaign so far, I don't see it as much with the USMNT and I am sure its kept him in the good graces of Pioli. Defensive work rate. Just this past match where he had the game winning goal he also had several interceptions or tackles that won it back for Milan in their own half. Even this highlight vid includes defensive highlights. That's the Italian way being coached into him!! Good for him - because he has the pace and workrate to make an impact in defense - especially if the match isn't going his way otherwise.

Pretty sure he is a right footed player as well, making 50% of these highlights even more class.
The guy just really needed to leave Chelsea (who were an absolute mess and still are in a lot of ways), ive said to a few American friends of mine, he isn't world class but if he finds the right situation and has a bit of luck with injuries/fitness, you'll see there's a very good player there
