As an 8 year old I bought this for the GS and it was insanely difficult partly due to the terrible joystick (although I later figured I could use my master system pad with it but still never completed it..same issue with Last Ninja) but it didn’t matter because I loved the music, it gave my goosebumps. I used to put on Myth, Shadow of the Beast, Last Ninja and Flimbos Quest just for the tunes. I recently uncovered my GS after 25 years boxed away so bought a CRT TV to test it and not only do the games still work but hearing those tunes again in glorious C64 audio brought those goosebumps right back. Truly epic and probably closely followed by the time I first heard Goldeneye 64 music 😅

Joeroen Tel, fucking legendary!!!.... awesome remake! definitely adding this to a playlist!... Edit: wait, that first level! the horrible hit detection with the sword, the slow awkward jump, the hanging skeleton you have to cut down. did they repackage this as the Conan the barbarian game on the NES, or vice versa?

I went back to the AVGN Schwarzenegger games episode. It definitely looks like the same game, with shittier graphics and a different main character sprite!

Lol yeah, JonTron did a video on Conan games way back, yeah, Conan was a reskin of this.
