I actually had no idea about Naomi’s locket hanging from the computer. I played this game non stop for years and seeing some things I missed all these years later really make me want to play it again. Truly hoping Konami is gonna rerelease this game again in a future collection
This is the reqson why MGS4 is my favorite out of the series. Theres so much to find and so much detail they put in to really give it a true send off to end the Snake's story. I knew most of the these hidden tricks but learned new ones. Thanks for that! I just hope the master collection isnt touched. Maybe to update a few words i.e. when Otocon stops you to change the disc to disc two, but ue says this is a PS3 system,...well maybe they can change it to match the console you're actually playing on....just little things like that!
Yeah, it would be interesting to see what they will do. They did make small changes between MGS 2 and MGS 2 HD Collection, like with some of the female supermodel posters in the tanker and the Big Shell that had to change for probably legal reasons.
An absolute masterpiece and the true send-off the series deserved. I found many of these easter eggs on my many playthroughs, but still learned a lot from your excellent video. In the final words of Big Boss: "This is good, isn't it..."
Cheers, RedKazan👍 It definitely is a masterpiece. This is one of the most satisfying story endings to a game series. It tied up plot threads nicely, and as Snake Eater is my favourite game in the series it was great to see Big Boss at the end 🙂
i didnt know the sorrow was watching after psyco mantis dies thats definitely creepy !!! this is a very very good video i used to play this game alot back then i currently do not have my PS3 plugged in so these videos are always amazing to watch thank you for taking the time i also didnt know the models would dance while playing music or pose for a photo. there was alot of info i didnt know about MS4 until now because of this video. Sorrow watching snake, the way he's standing still while watching snake is creepy it also reminds me of the game P.T for some reason. PS3 brings some good memories im glad i was able to play Little big planet 1, 2, on the Playstation 3 sweet good memories ! :D
You're very welcome, and I'm glad you found some new things from the video! 🙂👍 I bought a PS3 again this year so it was great to play these games that were never remastered, like MGS4, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Fallout 3! Yeah, the Sorrow watching Snake has a similar thing in P.T., if I recall correctly, there's a moment where a creepy ghost girl is standing in the dark up on the balcony.😱
@@SalopianGamer yeah Kojima is really great with horror stuff, funny ive been playing that game for a really long time now and never knew the sorrow was watching or that octopus boss was abit early to see snake when he arrived in that boss fight level. as a kid the octopus boss scared me alot because she yells at snake before they fight and sheit really horrfied me. now that im much older and out of bordem i just decided to youtube easter eggs on metal gear and this video did a really good job man.
Thank you. Yeah, I'm surprised the video has done better than I'd hoped. It won't be for a while yet, because I want to get through the Arkham games first, but I'm planning on doing plenty more MGS stuff, starting with an MGS 5 Easter Eggs video👍
Thanks👍 Yeah, I never knew about the Sorrow appearing near the end when I played through this the first few times, back when it was first released. Even after 15 years I'm still finding new things!🙂
I was maybe 12 when my dad got me the MGS4 limited edition PS3 for Christmas. Best feeling and present I’ve ever received even now as a grown man 😂. But this game franchise is the best to ever exist and I’m grateful to be a fan of it.
I`ve played this game since 2008 and i swear i probably missed a lot of easter eggs and references in this video. MGS 4 is such a well made game, ahead of it`s time.
MGS4 pissed me off. Because the creator wanted yo break away from the Metal Gear saga he killed off Snake. The part that upsetted me was the fact he basically gave his happy ending to diarrhea Johnny of all people.
I love this video but I have a request. Maybe make a short video showing where the batteries are? I know they are on each briefing but still annoying I can't be told where exactly
You maintain a wonderful pace in your video and your commentary is simplistic, Yet concise and effective. The style in which your videos are constructed gets the job done efficiently whilst still keeping the attention of the viewer by maintaining a perfect pace, Not too fast or slow lol You also know how to maintain a good but casual amount of optimism in the tone of your voice as you speak in your videos as well which seems to be pretty important to do in videos these days lol One thing that I think wouldn't hurt to try maybe is to try laying out each entry chronology alongside story progression....... That being what I WAS typing at this point up until I quickly reviewed your video and realized that you already did just this, Which is great! My mistake lol I honestly believe if you can keep this formula and maybe experiment a little with some of the "UI"/Overlay elements in your videos (Thematically of course, As you have already done I see haha 😜) and maybe explore and experiment with some more with your scene transition effects (Like maybe for this style of vid, Trying out something modern, sharp and snappy quick but still simple in nature, Like smooth but quick and diagonal screen wipes or something instead of the slower screen fade out's and back in's between entries maybe?) and overall, Just try to explore/expand upon those creative horizon opportunities, It'll help to give your channel a bit more character, Adding and/or improving upon any amount of "character" within any of the various core elements of what makes up a TH-cam channel at the root level almost ALWAYS proves to be majorly beneficial. Such a strategy usually benefits a channel and/or brand a TON by helping to represent and define what makes the channel and/or brand so original, consumable and/or charming. And also, MOST importantly, What makes it memorable 😁 Because when people associate something with positive memories of past but positive consumer experiences, Naturally they'll wanna come back at some point and hopefully keep coming back to consume more and more of whatever quality content you happen to create or improve upon and refine over time. I believe if you keep improving you will acquire a great quality audience in larger numbers in no time!!! 😁 Hopefully the feedback helps! Your video is fine the way that it is btw :) I just want to try and show a little support by making a couple of constructive suggestions to in-turn, Possibly initiate a creative spark if that's something you've been looking for lately by chance or something lol But regardless of that, I'll be looking forward to seeing any new content that you happen to create in the future! 😁 You seriously deserve more views and subs! Your videos have managed to maintain a grasp upon my short attention span for a couple hours and any creator that can get that much outta me always gets a sub from this dood and you absolutely earned mine my guy! 👉😎👉
Thank you for the sub and for the feedback, SuboxOwned🙂👍Yeah, pacing is one of my biggest concerns during editing. When I do each entry, I question whether the footage is too long or too short, and if my commentary is concise. Yes I do them chronologically alongside story progression (well spotted👍I've wondered how many people noticed that), though there'll be exceptions - like putting everything on the Nomad at the start rather than jumping back and forth between each mission... for pacing. My new video series on monsters/enemies analysis I started last month is experimental. It seems to be doing well so I'll be doing more of those too. I appreciate the feedback, mate. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.😄
@@SalopianGamer Awesome! Yes the pacing to your videos is quite nice honestly, Overall there's a much higher quality standard to your videos than I was kinda expecting lol Which is definitely a good thing! I'm very glad to hear that my feedback could be of some benefit to you :D I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for anything new from your channel! :)
Cheers, SOUL REAVER 83👍 I'll be doing a Resident Evil 1 monster analysis video next, then after that a Soul Reaver analysis video🙂 I'm going back to playing on some classic PS1 games for this month.
There are many elements of MGS4 that seem related to Death Stranding. This probably means Kojima was already developing Death Stranding at the time. Even if it was merely an idea.
If this game is going to be included in the MGS master collection 2, I wonder if they'll be able to cut all the PlayStation references or simply won't be released on XSX and Switch... or this game won't be released again at all.

Liquid Snake: You enjoy all the killing that’s why.

I think it was specifically designed for PS3 so we might never see it on another console other than PS4
