- The Firebird drift build continues! In this video I install the rear suspension, size up some custom made wheels and fender flares, and make progress on the front suspension and electronics.

im so hooked on this build. i love how all the suspension and drivetrain is correct to the real car AND functional. makes me want to do the same thing, but probably with something a bit bigger, like 1:18.
Without that rear glass it looks like the American muscle version of like an s13 or s15 vert. I like that look
from the thumbnail i thought it was a s13 coupe

Watching this right after drifting my 1987 in the rain lol. Not enough power out of the 305 to do it in the dry.
It wasn't because of the power it was because of posi Trac makes it a one wheel wonder same issue with my 89 T/A bird

This is by far my favorite part series.. it would be cool to make this myself considering I have a 1985 model year
SLA for the win!!! Those Cragar's (had the same ones on my Wrangler) came out very nice! I only have FDM and when I do 1/24 prints the wheels suffer.
Like your other video with the Skyline, this is making me want to pull a Subaru out of the closet and design a complete AWD drivetrain.

Can you please tell me about your rear axle? Just a simple ring and pinion or a beveled gear set? What are your axles (shafts) made out of? Is there a repository for these kinds of parts?

As for lining things up like that rear axle, you can make it a lot easier by drilling holes for clothing pins to locate the position you want before dedicating it to that location with super glue.
Although it looks like you nailed the location of that rear axle without locating pins.
