17 year old cradle catholic who fell away for a few years but is back stronger than ever, i feel like God is calling me to be a priest, i just dont know how to discern it, i really want to have a wife and kids, but if God doesn’t want that for me than ill give it up
Hi - seminarian here :). When I was your age I was also discerning, something that was so important for me was seeking spiritual direction within the context of confession. If you simply told your confessor that you feel God calling you to the priesthood as well as any doubts you have and his advice on how to proceed - I believe this will lead you to greater clarity about a possible priestly vocation. God bless & prayers assured!
I'm being called to ministry, but I'm afraid my time can't be stretched enough and I can't afford university. The fear is overwhelming. I'll look into local colleges and find someone to talk to
Talk to a spiritual director go to your local church and ask and say to them it’s been on your mind and find your way I am in the process now god bless hope this helps
I went to college, though I never finished. I then went to and finished trade school. It wasn’t until trade school that the desire and need to serve God in His church as a priest intensified tenfold. Does anyone have any tips for me to begin?

In the Roman Catholic Church priests must be celibate. But in the Byzantine Catholic church (and I think some of the other Eastern Churches) a married man may be ordained. But you may not get married AFTER you are ordained. So there are some married Catholic priests.

What of someone who just finished high school but decides to join the seminary

Go to your nearest Bishop or to a seminary

Does the seminary really teach that if you are a RC priest,---that means strict adherence to chasity?

Why do we have to go to Seminary to become a Catholic Priest when our Baptism already made us a Priest ???
