BABYMETAL formed in 2010, there were 3 original members (they were only 12 and 11 years old at the time) and we have watched them grow up and become one of the very best live acts on the planet. You were absolutely right about Su-metal having a great voice - the whole concept was formed and developed around her vocal talents and unique singing style. She is incredible and so versatile. They are like nothing you will have seen or heard before, they brought a fusion of great metal instrumentals coupled with JPop hooks, melodies and aesthetics to create their very own sub-genre (Kawaii Metal) ... and they have continued to develop and evolve from those beginnings. They don't limit themselves to any one main style or genre and you won't be able to pigeonhole or put them in any one box like you can with virtually every other band in the world, they are one of a kind and they invented their own genre and style that nobody has been able to copy successfully (some have tried, none came close) including bringing choreographed dancing to metal (but not as you might know it from pop acts where it is nearly always used just to fill the stage or give you almost naked girls (and boys) to look at to take your mind off often bland music). BABYMETAL's choreo helps with interpreting the song - a lyric or the meaning etc, but it is designed to involve and lead the crowd, to give them their cues when to jump, shout, pump their fists, chant and so on. They are complete masters of crowd control and crowd involvement. BABYMETAL's official videos are all very good, but you really need to see and hear BABYMETAL live to get what they are about. rah2287 has given you some great suggestions for more songs already.

Your eyes, at the 7minute mark when Su-Metal starts singing, are fucking priceless. What follows is the look of utter confusion we all experienced when first discovering BABYMETAL. You should check out the newest collab out, F.HERO x BODYSLAM x BABYMETAL - 'LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND '. Nothing against BMTH, but this song is on my playlist because of BAYMETAL, and these Girls can do anything. Hell, even Rob Halford of Judas Priest has performed with BABYMETAL. New to the channel btw, and you got another sub mate, looking forward to what you drop next.
The look of "wtf is going on" on your face at the beginning, I'm pretty sure matched mine 😂. Seeing you headbang though, I dare say, was unexpected and awesome at the same time! This is my first time hearing Babymetal and 2nd time hearing Bring Me the Horizon (they did a collab with CORPSE called "Code Mistake") and it sounded great! Great reaction, loved it!
I'm actually going to check out the non-live version so I can hear them better aka no crowd and hopefully, more polished sound so my weird eardrums-to-brain-processor can better make out what they are saying. Off I go; Wish me luck, ha ha.
Love the look on people's faces when first seeing BabyMetal Especially when Su's allowed to just belt a song out . Try reacting to Megitsune live at the PIA Arena 😁🦊🦊🎂
Welcome to one of the most astonishing live girl groups that created their own genre and have been utterly untouchable for over 13 years now, and undoubtedly instumental in the interest in Japanese bands and the creation of several. They are commensurate professionals at all levels - as are the ppl that support them, from lighting & staging, to the choreographer, costume designers song writers and the backing band, with the girls interpretive dancing and singing to metal - and Su's astonishing crystal clear cutting voice. This collaboration (like all BM collabs) is imo one of their absolute best - when the track came out maybe 3 yrs ago I was blown away but this trumps it easily. Great reaction!! Oh. BMTH are pretty good too :P MORE BM please.........
If I recall this collab likely came about from the time BMTH and BabyMetal first met. They went to a metal festival somewhere in Europe and were kind of uncomfortable and the Bring Me the Horizon guys where just nice to them and hung out with them off and on through the festival and made sure they where comfortable
Welcome & Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Your reaction reminds me of mine when I discovered BABYMETAL for the first time 🤣. BABYMETAL is the best musical phenomenon I have ever experienced in my 68-year-long life. (Before BM, I was a stubborn jazz / funk lover) We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Babymetal is INCREDIBLE, I'm glad you like them so much! Highly recommend checking out their live performances, a lot of the videos outside of their TH-cam channel have subtitles :)
👍 👍 Well here is some information if you decide you want to explore the best LIVE band on the planet. BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno. Both Moa and Yui were 11 years old. All three girls were friends and classmates who attended an idol group (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life (they attended regular school as well) the girls would learn and train at vocals, dancing, public speaking and etiquette, etc., graduate at age 15 and then move onto whatever entertainment path they chose or that suited their talents. Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result. In the beginning Amuse showed little interest and the girls had minimal financing. They performed at strip malls and small venues borrowing clothes for shows from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They quickly became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues). Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia). If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to HQ pro shot videos of LIVE performances instead of official MV's (the reason is that the vast majority of MV's use studio audio over LIVE footage AND without the awesome Kami Band instrumentals) They have over 60 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Dragonforce, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more. Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.) Suggest reacting to these HQ Pro Shot videos of LIVE performances for a start. Their new album in my opinion that released March 24, 2023 is amazing with so many different styles. Good luck and hope to see you again soon.
Just stumbled here from the youtubes recommended. This guy is fucking hilarious. I'd love to have him as a neighbor. He'd be like "Hey Ben, come look at this shit!" And I would definitely go look at that shit.
I saw BMTH last year as they headlined Download festival on the Friday. I knew a few songs but wouldn’t have called myself a "fan". Left there absolutely blown away and a fan for life!!! The show they put on was exceptional. Honestly, i was having a shit time and wanted to go home a few days early until they turned my whole experience and mindset around.
I remember you! I used to watch your Tom Macdonald reactions a couple of years back. I then discovered Babymetal and the Japanese music industry and have been stuck there ever since. 😆 Babymetal does so many different songs, but I suspect you want to continue with the high energy. I suggest "Divine Attack": th-cam.com/video/INRPP78SvXs/w-d-xo.html Their recent song with F.Hero and Bodyslam is heavenly. It came out a week ago and is called "Leave It All Behind": th-cam.com/video/7rdc-QV6P6s/w-d-xo.html (don't forget to enable subtitles, the lyrics are great)
First, I dont give a ish what anyone says... them all hadbanging at the end is the best headbang ive seen in a long ass time... that goes so hard! Secondly... babymetal is a different level. Its legit like a cultish type experience. Theres a backstory and a calling for them. You can deep dive into it, its insane. Their shows are some of the cooles tive ever seen, and i wan to attend one to feel that energy.
Seriously Su Metal voice Make Me F*cking Goosebumps Bruhhh, Seriously She's Voice Perfect And Match With Metal Music Or Sound Im Swear She Voice Very Nice, First Time I Hear She Singing I Get The Goosebumps, 5 Stars For She Voice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Subscribed. Awesome colab. Perhaps the best ever between 2 bands. Pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! Love, love Su's vocals here, and I also enjoy the original with her more processed vocals as well. More BABYMETAL please.🦊 🖖❤
The BabyMetal Girls are the Queens of Metal and from Japan. That is Girls with a big G. Nobody knows what to say the 1st time they see BabyMetal, it will take your brain a day or two to catch up. They are just pure fire while being sweet and cute. Zero trash cuz they dont need it.
More Baby Metal please. Start with a new one like Metali or my personal favorite Monochrome live. There is also a First Take piano version of Monochrome if you want to hear Su Metal’s amazing voice.
Ah yes, it seems the WTF moments is still alive and well in 2024. Babymetal is the last foxhole you will ever need the pleasure of getting lost in I promise. Project Kingslayer was years in the making but delayed due to the pandemic. So we only now got our long awaited but kinda unexpected performance. That happens a lot in the world of BabyMetal. As they also dropped Metal which was a collaboration with Rage Against The Machine Tom Morello. Which was litterly hours before the start of their US tour will Dethklok last year. I have even touched on their latest which just dropped a short while ago called Leave It All behind. A collaboration with Thai Rapper F-Hero and Thai Rock Band Bodyslam. As crazy as that sounds Babymetal has crazy written into their DNA. Which even has a duet with Judist Priest. Yes, i did just say that. There is a lot to digest here. However, since we are at it I recommend a couple of great live performances. One is Rondo of Nightmare Mischiefs of Metal Gods. The other is Death which involves crosses & Su-Metal being crucified lol. Yea, i won't spoil the fun here as there is 13 years of WTF did I just see madness that awaits!! 🤘🦊🔥
BMTH are old bro i've been listeneing to them since i was a teenager and im 34, I wouldnt really say their Gen-z's Linkin park when most people listened to them around the same time. Edit: I suspect from your other comments that you may already know what I just said so mb if so.
You rock! L&S hope to see more this was a blast-- Bring me the Horizon befriended them in the UK 10+ years ago on their first visit outside of Japan, like a big brother watching out for them. They just think the world of each other, comes up in interviews all the time, this performance was the first time they shared a stage to perform together and you can just feel it. if you want to see a really good example of Babymetal Live (they are just crazy good live) check out the official channel "BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)", though pretty much anything you find from them live is going to be great.
Always love seeing people's first reactions to Suzuka's angelic voice. I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it: I firmly believe that she is one of the most talented vocalists ever.
Well Babymetal is the International most succesful japanese Band. Bring me the Horizont that met Babymetal on a metal Festival and at the end of the Festival they were Babymetals Personal friends. They Talkessel many years about a Collab and at the start of the Pandemic they achieved it. Add another 3 years and they finally met each other again. And in the mean time they added anothe Collab with F. Hero and Bodyslam " Leave it all behind".
Possibly the BEST reaction to this performance ever!! 😂😂 So great to see you really “get it”! BABYMETAL are a force to be reconned with. This colab was EPIC! You will like BABYMETAL… just sayin’ 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I knew the drop/breakdown at 10:55 was gonna fuck you up 😂. I've never seen your videos before but it's always so fun seeing people get to experience how fun metal can be, especially with Babymetal (my favorite band).
I super love your reactions for two of my favorite songs: Kingslayer and Woke Up. HAD TO SMASH THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON. I found your reaction sub by chance but now I wish I'm related to you hahaha ❤ Keep reacting! To everything! ❤
Haha, hell yeah man, great reaction! Babymetal will be an insane experience, with a very strong “WTF” factor. These gals are 13-year industry veterans, and are insane live performers. The Official Live of their single Metali ft. Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine was also from this same festival! 🤘🦊
Homie! Babymetal & Electric Callboy (German electronicore band) just dropped a banger as good as this collab! It's called RATATATA. Almost 1 million TH-cam views in 24 hours! Drawing hordes of reaction videos too. Don't miss the boat!
Bring Me the Horizon is a metalcore band from the UK. Babymetal is a unique blend of J-pop and heavy metal from Japan. The three ladies in Babymetal are backed by instrumentalists called the "kami band," and perform just about every style of metal from heavy EDM to thrash metal to power metal and even death metal. Despite the angelic voice of Suzuka Nakamoto (aka Su-metal), they go quite a bit harder than Bring Me the Horizon! And with the addition of their newest member Momoko Okazaki (aka Momometal), they now have a growler in the group, too!
Welcome to the BABYMETAL family, once your in your in for life lol. Seriously though great reaction, I hope you end up watching more BABYMETAL, you will not be disappointed. Some recommendations.... BxMxC Karate Road of Resistance Headbanger Metali THERES TONS MORE ... but those should be good ones for you to check out! Also, go LIVE performances whenever you can, the studio stuff is great but the LIVE is next level every time.
Great reaction my friend, you have just heard one of the best live bands in the world...Babymetal!! Their live shows are absolutely amazing...sit back and enjoy.
Great reaction! You will clearly benefit from more Babymetal - I strongly recommend you take that amazing journey exploring their huge and diverse catalog of music and videos! 🤘🦊
Survival? Not in a japanese Pit. And the whole concert Tour was supported by Babymetal. This mattered since their concerts are legendary in the jspanese Event scene. They are able and in a position to go unusual ways.
Everybody need more Babymetal. 🤘🦊 I would suggest: Babymetal ft. F. Hero - 'PA PA YA' Babymetal - 'BxMxC' (pronounced BMC) Babymetal - 'Headbanger' Enjoy!! 🦊🤘
Great reaction ! In general, discovering Babymetal is a moment to remember !
There is no Live show artist on this planet that can compete with a fully armed and operational Baby Metal.

Love the look on people's faces when first seeing BabyMetal
Especially when Su's allowed to just belt a song out .
One of my great achievements so far is my 6 year old and 4 year old singing along to babymetal!
The old mans never heard baby metal? its heavy metal but with a Japanese girl band feel. its weirdly addictive.
(Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Babymetal is INCREDIBLE, I'm glad you like them so much! Highly recommend checking out their live performances, a lot of the videos outside of their TH-cam channel have subtitles :)
👍 👍
Well here is some information if you decide you want to explore the best LIVE band on the planet.
If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to HQ pro shot videos of LIVE performances instead of official MV's (the reason is that the vast majority of MV's use studio audio over LIVE footage AND without the awesome Kami Band instrumentals)
They have over 60 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Dragonforce, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these HQ Pro Shot videos of LIVE performances for a start.

Yui Mizuno left BabyMetal in 2018 due to health reasons and at their concert in Yokohama on April 1, 2023 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019 after Yui's departure) has officially become the third member.
Their new album in my opinion that released March 24, 2023 is amazing with so many different styles.
Good luck and hope to see you again soon.
Awesome reaction my guy. If you wanna see some crazy energy in an arena check out Babymetal’s performance of “Megitsune” (Live at PIA Arena 2023)
It's always great to see how Babymetal makes the lives of people better. 🙂
The Reactor became a BMTH and BM fan and I became a Vibe Reactions Fan and totally Subscribed! Awesome all-around!
I remember you! I used to watch your Tom Macdonald reactions a couple of years back. I then discovered Babymetal and the Japanese music industry and have been stuck there ever since. 😆 Babymetal does so many different songs, but I suspect you want to continue with the high energy. I suggest "Divine Attack":
th-cam.com/video/INRPP78SvXs/w-d-xo.html
Their recent song with F.Hero and Bodyslam is heavenly. It came out a week ago and is called "Leave It All Behind":
th-cam.com/video/7rdc-QV6P6s/w-d-xo.html (don't forget to enable subtitles, the lyrics are great)
First, I dont give a ish what anyone says... them all hadbanging at the end is the best headbang ive seen in a long ass time... that goes so hard! Secondly... babymetal is a different level. Its legit like a cultish type experience. Theres a backstory and a calling for them. You can deep dive into it, its insane. Their shows are some of the cooles tive ever seen, and i wan to attend one to feel that energy.
I know I am late but this is the most entertaining reaction I have ever seen *period*!!!! This shit was hilarious and entertaining
Teardrops by Bring Me The Horizon
Their homage song to Chester Bennington
holy haha, best reaction i seen, love it, BABYMETALLLL
Seriously Su Metal voice Make Me F*cking Goosebumps Bruhhh, Seriously She's Voice Perfect And Match With Metal Music Or Sound Im Swear She Voice Very Nice, First Time I Hear She Singing I Get The Goosebumps, 5 Stars For She Voice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"OMG I PEE'D A LIL!!!" mate that reaction had me howling with laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3 minutes in, and I'm laughing and crying. "That is a demon child"👹😂🤣
Subscribed. Awesome colab. Perhaps the best ever between 2 bands. Pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! Love, love Su's vocals here, and I also enjoy the original with her more processed vocals as well. More BABYMETAL please.🦊 🖖❤
@12:00 is the appropriate reaction to finding Babymetal! Do youself a favour and check out Monochrome!
You gotta listen to more BABYMETAL they are insane
The BabyMetal Girls are the Queens of Metal and from Japan. That is Girls with a big G. Nobody knows what to say the 1st time they see BabyMetal, it will take your brain a day or two to catch up. They are just pure fire while being sweet and cute. Zero trash cuz they dont need it.
Highly recommend "Road to Resistance" by Babymetal. It will show the extent of crazyness that is Babymetal especially the crowd control at the start
Bro you're fucking funny man. Also N64 is life I'll fight everybody
at the end of the song you can see he didnt just listen to a song he live an experience loolll
BABYMETAL live is LIFE
BABYMETAL FOREVER
🤘🤘🤘
More Baby Metal please. Start with a new one like Metali or my personal favorite Monochrome live. There is also a First Take piano version of Monochrome if you want to hear Su Metal’s amazing voice.
Welcome to BMTH AND Fuckin BabyMetal ❤️🤘
The "Let's go Tokyo" line is so cool & dope. That one is very special, added for this live version in Tokyo (Japan).
Ray, if you go down the JRock( Japanese Rock) / JMetal rabbit hole, you gonna fall in love!
This is one of the best reaction videos I have ever seen.
After Hear She's Voice It Make me Fall in Love On She ❤️
Bring Me The Horizon is Gen Z’s Linkin Park btw. Their album Post Human from 2019 was dedicated to Chester.
BMTH are old bro i've been listeneing to them since i was a teenager and im 34, I wouldnt really say their Gen-z's Linkin park when most people listened to them around the same time.
Edit: I suspect from your other comments that you may already know what I just said so mb if so.
@@Yukaze89 Millenial’s Linkin Park. Excuse me. Just trying to illustrate how big and influential this band is to people in 2024
You're hilarious 😂 great reaction I love both bands now you got another subscriber
You rock! L&S hope to see more this was a blast--
Bring me the Horizon befriended them in the UK 10+ years ago on their first visit outside of Japan, like a big brother watching out for them.
They just think the world of each other, comes up in interviews all the time, this performance was the first time they shared a stage to perform
together and you can just feel it.
if you want to see a really good example of Babymetal Live (they are just crazy good live) check out the official channel "BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)", though pretty much anything you find from them live is going to be great.
Dude says hold on I peed a lil! Hahahahaha
Welcome to the world of Baby Metal and BMTH
We will make a Metalhead of you, yet, Ray.
I love watching reactions to this song, specifically when the listener hears the first Oli to Su transition. The bewilderment is great
I have watched this video many times including a lot of reaction vids, but this was something else. Your reaction was epic!
Ludens should be next by BMH!!!!!!!!
Todos necesitamos a Babymetal en nuestras vidas
Estás al borde del abismo y no hay escapatoria
#notacult

Possibly the BEST reaction to this performance ever!! 😂😂 So great to see you really “get it”!
BABYMETAL are a force to be reconned with. This colab was EPIC!
You will like BABYMETAL… just sayin’ 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I knew the drop/breakdown at 10:55 was gonna fuck you up 😂. I've never seen your videos before but it's always so fun seeing people get to experience how fun metal can be, especially with Babymetal (my favorite band).
Literally the most fun I have had watching a reaction in ages.
Great Reaction,
I had the pleasure of seeing them do this set live in Vegas at Sick new World just a few weeks ago!
Hahahahahahha! One of the best reactions yet!
Welcome to the beautiful world of the best band on the planet, Bring Me The Horizon
I super love your reactions for two of my favorite songs: Kingslayer and Woke Up. HAD TO SMASH THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON. I found your reaction sub by chance but now I wish I'm related to you hahaha ❤ Keep reacting! To everything! ❤
You just ublocked the door to the Babymetal wormhole. Enjoy that journey my man
Haha, hell yeah man, great reaction! Babymetal will be an insane experience, with a very strong “WTF” factor.
These gals are 13-year industry veterans, and are insane live performers.
The Official Live of their single Metali ft. Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine was also from this same festival!
🤘🦊
You should definitely do more Bring Me the Horizon, and the album version of this track!
*this* is the kind of reaction I love. Just unbridled joy and just fucking *loving* it!
Please do more Bring Me The Horizon!!!
Homie! Babymetal & Electric Callboy (German electronicore band) just dropped a banger as good as this collab! It's called RATATATA. Almost 1 million TH-cam views in 24 hours! Drawing hordes of reaction videos too. Don't miss the boat!
Oli from BMTH is featured on a song with MGK, “Maybe”
LMFAO, your video is my top reaction for reacting to this amazing awesome hard metal video. Thanks for sharing 🤟🤘
6:00 this is just J-SickPuppies
Bro. Metalheads will invade any TH-cam channel
great reaction...keep headbang bro...🦊🦊🦊

Great reaction! You will clearly benefit from more Babymetal - I strongly recommend you take that amazing journey exploring their huge and diverse catalog of music and videos! 🤘🦊
Survival? Not in a japanese Pit. And the whole concert Tour was supported by Babymetal. This mattered since their concerts are legendary in the jspanese Event scene. They are able and in a position to go unusual ways.
Your funny asf duude, love bmth and bm 😂😂
This is the best reaction channel. I need some of what you got.
Bring me the horizon - shadow Moses!!!

N64 was my jam! mgk has a collab with BMTH on Mainstream Sellout. Olli Sykes voice is addictive.
