    I’ve had the tune from JST for 2 years now. I have the 91/93 and e30 tune. Full stage 3, with Tial BOV. Haven’t had any issues. I love the induction sound and the pulls. Oh yeah, cobb rmm makes ALOT more nvh but made a huge difference in putting the power down. I also put Firestone fire hawk 500s on. Handles better then I can drive the car. Amazing.

    How was your powerband/ boost targets before and after?

    • @Nickjoenap
      @Nickjoenap  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about the boost before but I consistently get 22 psi and sometimes a little higher. The power band is a lot better, the power comes on smoother and doesn’t die out as much up top

    Is it ok to run a stage 2 ots tune from Cobb? I don’t have a intercooler yet, I wanna install my access port and monitor stuff, can I leave it on the stock tune? Is a ots tune safe? Don’t have the time and money to buy a custom tune just yet, what should I do?

    • @Nickjoenap
      @Nickjoenap  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      stay away from cobb ots tunes. they’re known for blowing motors. stay on stock tune and don’t abuse the car until you’re done with all your mods and then get a custom tune. i stayed on my stock tune until i was fbo and then got a custom e tune

      Don’t use the Cobb tunes. They are bad for your car. Do all your upgrades and get a custom tune last

    • @bobbydouglas16
      @bobbydouglas16 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cobb doesnt take into consideration the many variables that each car has, each has different mods from different brands and even the motors are not all created equal

    • @notmarcus421
      @notmarcus421 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cobb tunes have disabled some of the safety features used in the ecu by Ford. For example in the Cobb tunes the lspi table has its values maxed out effectively disabling that table.
