Oh hey, my first ever commander! Started playing Arena right as LotR came out, and Sauron bangs so much. The fact that you can build him in so many ways is 10/10. I obviously went for an army deck with ramp and some cycling synergies.
@@MTGJosh LotR was definitely a big draw, but I've sadly surrounded myself with hardcore cardboard addicts, so it was inevitable regardless ;) Fantastic video btw! Glad you're not afraid to show off mistakes here and there, too. The suffering is relatable.
That's a great question. I find it hard to answer but I think it's due to how aggressive the red compliments dimir. This is opposed to the white that compliments esper that makes it feel more draw go. I used to be more counter spell oriented but after years of testing I found that proactive beats reactive. Mardu control is something Id love to explore! Thank you for asking engaging questions and making me think. It's legitimately a rare occurrence and I really appreciate you. Why is Mardu your favourite?
I ended up liking it so much because of my themed deck based on mathas fiend seeker, playing a deck that is based on the inquisition with the life gain and reanimation and the red for aggro was just amazing
I build a cedh sauron the dark lord deck and it terrifies players. i mean, the deck draws fast enough to get into combo but in a 4pod or more, amass is a beautiful thing 😈
Urabrask, as a powerful as it is, is probably one I would try to avoid playing, based on the Phyrexian nature. Not sure what it is, but something about it makes me feel uncomfortable about playing a deck that powerful.
Sauron is quite the Commander you have there! Some great games here!
Thanks man! Very powerful indeed

That's amazing to hear. It's nice to know that people can be brought in from other IPs. I too am a huge Lord of the rings fan so this set was great 👍

@@lukaz20001 thank you my friend! I try and be as raw as possible 😅
Felt like the Tom Bombadil player was just taunting you with it and was never gonna play it xD
What a sausage!
Why do you prefer grixis to any other colour combination?
Mardu is my favourite currently

@@Roguewarlock6319 I love when people attach meaning to decks. The narrative part is what makes it's special to me.
In not sure if it’s just me but your mic is a little spiky. Like it’s sharp
Oh ok, time code so I can check it out?
Oh I do love mono red players math skills.. can’t tell ya how many scoops I get watching their impeccable math skills 😂😂🤦
It goes with the goblin aesthetic

It's truly crazy isn't it

I feel ya bro! The game is about using what you like so that's perfectly fine
@@MTGJosh I'll stick to what I'm most familiar with and get the most enjoyment out of :) Thanks bro!
You can attack with an army and not discard your hand, not sure if you understood this well.
Did you watch the whole video?
Now everyone will accuse you to play op cards ❤😂
And then I'll make a budget video that no one will watch 😔
Yeah who 👀 who would have two grixis decks 😂
I'm very tempted myself
