  • Hello and welcome to another week on the road with me! This week, I ship my tiny home across the North Atlantic to the Outer Hebrides for one awesome island hopping adventure.
    From plane spotting at the world's only tidal beach airport on the Isle of Barra and hiking to incredible views over Eriskay, to trying standup paddle boarding for the first time in South Uist and a hike going wrong in North Uist!
    I hope you enjoy this week's video and join me next Sunday for part two of this island hopping road trip. I'll be heading to Isle of Harris, Lewis and Stornaway.
    Give this video a thumbs up and comment if you liked it, and subscribe to catch my weekly travel vlogs. Thanks for watching!

    Absolutely amazing locations, so stunning. Looks like I'll be adding the Isles to my list. Can't believe you have negative comments about litter picking, we all do it at our parkups to help keep them better for everyone. People are disgusting leaving there rubbish everywhere, giving us a bad name. Safe Travels, keep up the wonderful adventures

      Thanks for watching! It also baffles me that someone would have a negative opinion about someone else cleaning up litter, but hey ho... that's social media for you haha!

    Shelley's looking great! I noticed the solar panel tails, are they ok just sneaking in under the poptop rubber seal? That's a job I need to do, as my leisure battery doesn't cut the mustard without some sort of top-up. Some brilliant ideas for our trips oop north there - thank you!

      My cables go through the gap at the top of the door rather than through the pop top, if that makes sense. I haven't had any problems with them... so far!

    Fantastic video ,Eriskay is one of my favourite islands.I think that on or around 29 June we both stayed the night at Eriskay ferry car park. Shame about the breakdown, hope all's OK now. I had an issue last year on Uist with my camper but got repaired by some helpful garage repair guys at Lochboisdale.Good luck with your future travels.

    Proper adventuring again 👌, with proper adventure-hair 😂
    It's understandable if you've run out of puff climbing that hill because you've been trapped in a garage for a month!
    (The red plastic tube was a shotgun cartridge, I think) Yeah I wouldn't have risked the bridge, and anywayI guess you've gotta respect the sign 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @nell0uise
      @nell0uise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That way I see it is that I'm a visitor, so I should respect the places I go to. If locals have ripped it open and continue to use it, then that's their choice. I also wouldn't want to encourage anyone watching my videos to do dangerous things or ignore warning signs.
