His most famous video was probably the convincing his friend he was dead one.
@@cait812 ....i think i preferred not knowing lol. thx & have a nice day
@@warmybear1009 Fair enough tbh. The clip with James is pretty fun though! Hope you have a nice day
what if he hadn't been there? do you think people would have gone along with piers morgan? james really has the ability to be grounded and not ashamed of it
James is a brilliant and compassionate champion for good. He's a game changer
this clip has aged extremely well now piers morgan has gone back to his old ways
And now hes just gone
My husband and I watched this live, and my husband spit his beer out he laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣
I agree with Acaster about piers Morgan.
After this rant I vote James for Hero of the year
As usual James waits until the perfect moment to bring everyone to hysterics. He literally only needed 3 words to do it and didn't disappoint.
This was complete cringe until James opened his mouth.
What an edgelord.
James Acaster is one of my favorite human beings of all time. I don't think I've ever seen him not be funny.
I love my boyfriend but I would drop him like a hot pan for James Acaster.
Well Lorraine’s suggestion aged like fine milk 😅
I can think of several other piers that are ahead of him in the hero of the year award queue, including Wigan.
true that
Don't say piers corbyn
My groins pier has been quite fruitful this year.
Hilarious but genuine reaction from James. No way Piers could be a hero😥
He's absolutely right about Morgan, everyone's praising him for the way he's been with the government but I guarantee the first chance he gets he will remember his tax bill and vote Tory again.
Now Piers Morgan writes for The Sun. That says everything. I can't think of a more perfect (albeit disgusting) relationship. They deserve each other.
The Twits
God James is a fucking world treasure
Dissapointed that Johnny Vegas wasn't running the pub 😂
Agreed... not the same without him
No, we have to have black people on tv
@@coffeepot3848 what the fuck is the relevance of that
After watching Taskmaster I'm not sure I'd trust Johnny to make me a drink😂
He wouldve been bloody mint
Why has everyone overlooked Adam's absolute gem, "turns out penguins got hands before you did!" 😂😂
James "I'm not proud of it" Acaster
It's a weird stage set-up. James and Lorraine keep having to turn around. It's like surround comedy.
The only way to have them all socially distanced **and also** all able to each other would be to have them making a really big, empty circle.
I have returned now that this has become relevant once more. Absolute spot on from Acaster here.
Hero of the Year: JAMES ACASTER
2:27 if anyone wants to jump straight to the funny bit and not watch the whole interview.
No, don't do that. What makes it so funny is that for two and a half minutes everyone says something, EXCEPT James, and then he comes in with that.
James is on a difference energy! He's brilliant!
Well damn... James, tell us how you really feel. 😂 (No disagreement here BTW)
This is getting recommended to everyone again after he got fired.
The best part is he made a tweet on the morning of the day, where he dared people to sign petitions and complain to try and get him fired. Showing off that they had failed all the other times they'd tried.
Everyone loves you right up till you make Piers Morgan Hero of the Year.
It's like going on a channel 4 panel show saying you love Trump and UKIP. That's against their agenda, so clearly you get insulted for your opinion. It's like she is still living in the free world where people accept each other's opinions. That ship has sailed.
@@Dominian1 People from across the political spectrum hate Piers Morgan. He was responsible for many things, including hacking the phone of a dead girl. He's morally reprehensible and an attention-seeking loser with no real beliefs or stances. He just does and says what he thinks will get him the most attention.
@@Dominian1 did anyone actually watch this clip? Lorraine says "hear me out" - she obviously hates Piers Morgan, but she was just pointing out he was the only one yelling at the government. The real issue is the complete lack of journalistic integrity. Presenters sit on their hands and listen like good little schoolchildren when the likes of Farage or Rees-Mogg spout hateful rubbish.
@@lenawagenfuehr53 Do you prefer the American model, where journalists attack politicians all the time? You can make your mind up on your own, apparently.
@@lenawagenfuehr53 thing is that if you want to point out that a shitty person did a good thing, "hero of the year" is not the right place. like james says, a villain doing a good thing doesn't make them a hero, and implying that is questionable to say the least
Can James Acaster be hired to play the 14th Doctor please
Nothing personal- but I wish fans would stop suggesting that literally anyone they like would be good in Doctor Who 😂 Same with Richard Ayoade; he's great, but I don't think he'd exactly fit (except maybe to direct and/or write an episode, that could be fun).
James is great, and he can do comedy well, but he isn't an actor.
That.... Is a Great suggestion
@@caitlin329 Ayoade . The story lines he would inspire would alone be worth everything
@@caitlin329 In fairness, we haven't seen James act. How do we know he can't?
'And NOW....I'm not even sure I like penguins anymore'.....Jesus Lorraine look what you've done!
Coming back again after the news of Piers Morgan 😂💀
Acaster is a fucking legend! He's funny as hell, and has his morals in the right place. That became even more apparent during Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999.
THAT is how you enter a discussion lol
James Acaster is the comedian that all other comedians wish they were....Quality stuff..
Piers Morgan is an entertainment product. He has opinions for money.
back now that piers has been sacked - gold
This hits different today.
James Acaster is so GOOD! In all aspects ...😇
James is a treasure 😍
I have not laughed that hard than at his response to Lorraine saying piers morgan - absolutely brilliant.
And in his explanation he did not stutter
As succinct a response as there could be. Made me think of Billy Connelly and how he masterfully applies "bad language".
He is my hero of 2020 for telling her that. She is such a phony and Piers Morgan is a villain! End of!
I fucking love that it's the first thing James says in this clip as well
This aged well
can't ever trust someone who's written for a tabloid. they look sane and lovely on the outside, inside there's fried circuitry.
I had to rewind that several times. Such a great outburst
So did I!
I rewound it so many times just to hear the genuine belly laugh from Adam
The "penguins got hands before you did" was such a killer line.
Not really, it was a cheap shot.
Is it ok that I can't stop watching this !
James mate, you're a legend !
From now on, this will be my answer to anyone who is being unreasonable.
This never gets old 😂😂..I literally watch this everyday 😂😂😂
My favourite anti-Piers moment ever was Stephen Fry on the radio show "Current Puns" saying that the meaning of the word "Countryside" is "the act of killing people such as Piers Morgan".
"don't look at me like that"
Proceeds to look into the camera
Acaster here reminds me a lot of various friends I had and have still as well as myself
Absolutely dedicated and unflinching about specific things that they truly believe in
It's cool to see the same kind of person on the telly
his handling of the justification was tier 4 😂
James Acaster what a ledge
i fucking love james’ new persona i love that he is so unapologetically anti tory
Maybe he's trying to land a lead role in a Jarvis Cocker bio-pic (which was my theory for his get-up on Series 7 of Taskmaster)? It's method acting.
@@sfshinz maybe! or maybe he just really, genuinely hates the tories
Morgan isn’t a tory
@@MattCrawley_Music he definitely is
