Discovered this channel days before my UKCAT and am finding it super helpful! Also, if you don't mind me asking, why did you choose to come to the UK to study medicine instead of just studying in Canada?
Yay glad you found it! Many reasons but long story short my sister lives there, my highschool friends love there , closer to my family, change is good, and more!
Hi!! I can't believe I just discovered your channel!!! It's so useful and I love the way how you explain everything. I'm having my MMI interview with Kings in 2 weeks and I'm so nervous :((
Hi, i have an interview on the 28th with Kings. Im super nervous too.. my problem is that i go blank when im nervous. BTW can i ask, did they get back to you yet? im wondering how long after my interview will i get an offer or rejection.
@@berthalee8554 Oh wow so you've been waiting for a decision for nearly 3 months. Was the interview hard? Was there any role play, group dicussion or particular questions?
@@Jasmineliketheflower I would say the interview had a lot of ethical based questions. Just remember not to be too nervous when you make mistakes and just move on to the next station with a fresh start. Is this your first interview?
Hey thanks for this video. Extremely helpful!! Do you know anything about Brunel university’s panel interviews or know if anyone who goes there and might be familiar with the process?
Hey Fran! It was 55/60 minutes with I believe 10 stations at 5-6mins each. There way no role play in Bristol or KCL interviews (obviously subject to change). 😄
It depends on the university. Sometimes they state if they usually have maths questions. But regardless it's normally a quite simple calculation, nothing to be too scared of. Prescribe the most likely to come up topics such as drug concentrations/dilutions, BMI, etc... 😊
hey i am applying to medical school soon and was wondering why you particularly chose Bristol University. I've done some research and i like how it is not PBL. it would be nice to have your insight
Hi Charlotte! So I actually chose KCL in the end, not Bristol but I do have a lot to say about Bristol. I was also attracted to the non-PBL style universities. Bristol, in addition, had many features of a London university without being in London. The city was huge, full of buzzing shops and markets, and was mostly filled with students. It had large open spaces (parks and the like) which would be great for running and a change of scenery. Also, their system where you go to 7 different placement all over south England was attractive to me at first but I was skeptical what it might be like if I got sent really far away to a place I wasn't familiar with. I chose KCL in the end because my sister lives in LDN, my friends lived in LDN, and being in LDN had long been a dream of mine. Both are great schools though, and entry to either is a huge achievement! If you want any more specifics please let me know :)
Suuuuuper helpful video. But. Didnt they make you sign a disclosure agreement? If so does making this video not get you in trouble? I got sent one and have to sign and take it to my interview.
This video is seriously so helpful!!! The best one out there... I was wondering whether it is necessary to have a B.Sc. degree to get into a med school in UK or you can apply directly after grade 12?

Hi I am wondering how common it is to get a maths mmi station? Would that come under problem solving?

Amazing 😂❤❤❤
Is it necessary that students applying for ukcat should belong to international baccalaureate schools.
No not at all! You can check all eligibility requirements on their website 😀
