I live on a mountain in Southern Oregon. I fell asleep on the couch watching TV. About 2 am, my 2 dogs woke me up whining & nudging me. Half asleep, I got up to let them out for a potty break. In one motion, I turned on the deck light, slid the door open, and stepped outside. Directly across from me on the other side of the fence about 30 feet away, I saw 3 sets of huge eyes 6-8 feet above the ground in the shadow of a huge cedar tree. It was as if their eyes were showing the same "Oh sh*t!" moment I was feeling! They were standing so close to each other side by side. I couldn't make out anything, but they were massive. I took a step backwards, they stepped backwards, I stepped back again & so did they. I slowly slid the door shut and turned off the light. I turned back to see both dogs on the couch shaking and looking at me like, "Are you CRAZY? We were trying to WARN YOU of DANGER OUTSIDE!" This all occurred in less than 3 minutes, but it felt like an hour. Oddly, I laid back on the couch and slept better than I have in years to well past sunrise! When I let the dogs back out their hackles were up and they were doing that huffing sound as they crept up to the fence. All I know is that if my dogs won't go out, I don't go out!
I've had a peaceful close long encounter in Colorado. I was only 11 and I had no clue they lived in America. I was not fearful at all. I said hello. It smiled and smiled and I smiled back. Making faces like it wanted to tell me something. I'm trying to interpret like the deaf community I'd grown up with. Same faces a deaf person makes to add expression to their words. Finally my mom who stood frozen way behind me snapped outta it. And yelled go away. And it looked at me like why did she scream. I was sad mom screamed. It stepped behind a tree and I followed mom as my daddy was running to us. He heard mom scream. I was leaping with delight. Mom was white as a sheet. I was thrilled outta my mind. Still cherish that most special day of my entire life. It was 1978. I'm 56 now. And still have many experiences since. Always. I know where to look. I love em ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ just want us to show that forest respect.
In 1979 my Mother and I were driving north on I5 in Grants Pass, OR at about 3pm. A tall (id guess 8ft) reddish, hairy being ran across the freeway in front of us. It looked right at me. I saw its cheeks jiggling. It jumped over the side and kept running uphill fast. They absolutely exist!
I just finished a job in grants pass about two weeks ago, would have loved to see one. If I had the money I’d totally move out there, it’s beautiful and some how the temp feels much cooler then what the thermometer reads. I just love how there’s grass growing on the mountains, here in the Adirondacks if there aren’t trees growing it’s just bare rock.
Your encounter is an exact repeat of thousands of others I've heard, and the commonalities are consistent with sasquatch. Thank you sir for sharing. They do exist
One of my sons and I like to hike in the back woods of Oregon and Washington states. Several years ago now (gosh time is zooming by!) we were on a backpacking trip during the middle of the week to several lakes on the shoulder of Mt Hood. Right at dusk we had a super heavy “something” walk into our little hidden camp on two feet shaking the ground. It abruptly stopped just outside our little tent. Then there was a big “wack” sound from the direction it had walked in on us. We were zipped in the tent because it had begun to rain. We sat still because flight or fight had kicked in for both of us. We were waiting to see what the next move would be….we sat waiting for what might come next. Because of being in the woods backpacking for many years we had learned to have a cool head and evaluate what we might be up against. Then out of the deafening silence there was an answering rock clap from the opposite side of the tent. We were now aware that we were dealing with two separate “things” right outside our tent. We sat waiting…..nothing. No noise. No brush of underbrush. No snuffling. Dead silence. We got out of the tent and saw nothing. Since there was only one way out of that camp, and the “thing” had walking in on the only path out, and it was now full dark, plus a few miles back to where our truck was parked, I made the decision to stick right there for the rest of the night. We would walk out in the morning. I rolled over and went to sleep. I know strange, but I think the shock of it made me adapt a “it is what it is at this point”. My son laid awake most of the night expecting them to come back. They didn’t. No smell. No noise beyond the two signals we heard coming from different directions. The creepiest part of the whole experience was the totally quiet retreat. What animal arrives with shaking the ground, sends and receives a signal, and then melts away without a sound? I was so soo soooo glad my son was there with me that trip. It is helpful to be able to have someone who experienced it all too. Since that happened my son (who is not one for flights of fancy) will straight up tell you there is Sasquatch in the deep woods of Oregon. It was a super odd experience for sure!!!!!! I live on ten acres in southern Oregon in the woods. I backs up to BLM land that goes for miles. I am aware of what is out there beyond our door. I hope to never run into one here on our own ground. No thank you. This is no joke for me.
The Sad part is when it happens no one has a camera ready to go to record sounds or evev video something that might be there, I to when it happened to me my Mind was trying to Analyze what was happening, Glad your Son was there, and you both made it out Alive,,,Thank you for Sharing...
@@CabinTimeOregon Hi,I'm Australian we also have the bigfoot only they go by the name "Yowie" Hairy man,and they have a couple of indigenous names, witnesses described everything you are saying, and more, they often use infrasound, where it is a very low growl capable of like stunning you still, and you have difficulty moving, some witnesses, well one in particular had two cameras on him,but he said he froze, and was that scared, all he wanted to do is get out of there, the last thing on his mind was to take a photo. They are massive often described as being 8-10 feet tall with massive shoulders 4' wide, some smell real bad,and some don't,but some say they describe the smell to be like amonia, very strong and pungent urine smell, mixed with burnt bakerlite,or burnt electrical smell, they can see in the night like we can see in day light, their eyes can glow yellowy orange to red,but in the day light their eyes are black.
@@jh5131 Australianyowie hunters witness reports on TH-cam Particularly the infrared video capture there are many, all recounted by the witness themselves not some TH-cam telling you the Story. In particular the ones you may find interesting is the blonde Yowie with the old fashioned cow bell in his hand, of which there are two separate stories then the other is the 10 foot plus yowie that was taller than the Mac truck cab meaning the belly of the being was at the same height of the emblem on the hood of the truck, there are many witness reports that are just brilliant.
It's very difficult for most of us to talk about our cryptid encounters the first time. Most of these events were traumatizing to various degrees, we're afraid of being ridiculed by those we love, we're afraid of sounding or being thought crazy, etc. It feels kind of like being an abuse survivor who's afraid to tell and doesn't know what to do, it's that kind of isolating. Those who have cryptid encounters together at least share that. But many of us, including me, were alone. So, all of that being said, let me say kudos to you, sir! You're brave to share. I was 12 when I met something whose memory will haunt me until my dying day, and it wasn't until my thirties that I opened up about it except to my nearest and dearest and my early forties that I became more public about it. My friends and family have been very supportive, mostly. And now I talk about Sasquatch experiences on TH-cam with strangers, LOL.
I have lived, played and worked in the woods for over 50 years and never had an encounter with anything I couldn't explain. But when i hear people like this man i know there is something out there.
I heard something strangely similar while hunting in the St. Joe River drainage of North Idaho. A roaring scream that sounded like a lion's roar mixed with that of an elephant, with a woman's scream, all mixed together. It had a human quality to it, but no human could ever produce that sound at that volume for that length of time. It lasted about 10 seconds, accompanied by the violent shaking of some pretty tall aspen trees that were in a grove about 50-75 yards away. I never saw what made the sound. I'll never forget it, that's for sure.
@@ashleycountiss720 No. Nothing as small as a fox or bobcat could have produced that sound. Whatever it was, it had lungs and the ability to vocalize that were far beyond the capacity of a human being, much less any forest animal I've every heard.
@@SCSlimBoiseIDwe've heard the same type sounds, and we get the same responses on our videos. Bobcat, fox, etc. When you HEAR one, you KNOW it's not normal.
Me and my brother went for a hike to the waterfall above my home up on the mountain. Once we arrived on top of the mountain and we’re at the waterfall we decided to go higher into the pine trees. I was in front and I started seeing foot prints that crossed the stream and were still wet as if what ever crossed had seriously just been there. (Got to realize this was a hot summer day usually in the 90’s Fahrenheit) As I remember I put my foot in the print, it was 1/4 of the foot print my foot was in. (This was something walking up there with no shoes and huge feet to boot!)The print looked just like a human foot but huge! I called my older brother over and asked hey Mike what does this look like to you? Next thing I know I look back and see my older brothers head cresting the hill! He was booking it down the mountain! He just leaves me there for dead🤣 Well I run like I’m gonna die and start running after him. I never saw or heard anything! But turns out my brother said he saw 3 of them just going into the pines. I never saw them personally. I know there were a lot of sightings around that time especially at the fish farm near there. I must of been 10 years old. One other thing that happened was when I was maybe 13 as i was riding home on 1100 n I heard what sounded like a big foot scream up on the mountain. It was so loud it chilled me to the bones Scary! That’s it. By the way I’m 47 now so do the math it must of been early 1980’s!
Great Stories, I have heard bigfoot stories all my life,,,I'm 70 years old now, I heard what I Heard, been in and around the Woods All my life and Never Experienced something like this Before, Hey I know now it can happen to anyone at anytime,So thanks for Sharing I appreciate it,,,
I believe every word. I’ve never seen them but my mom has. I heard them, seen the prints, tree breaks and structures. A really good friend of mine had one walk right up into his food plot while Turkey hunting in broad daylight, 80ft away and yelled at him. He never went hunting again.
That's not something anyone wants to deal with. Especially in near dark with a crappy flip phone flashlight. I had my only experience (so far) on May 1st, 2022 in Big South Fork NRRA, way back on a dead end road in middle TN while solo camping. Everything was fine until a little after 11pm, when these SUPER LOUD hoots and screams started all at once and around me, accompanied by branches and sticks being broken as several of these "beings" ran through the trees making these sounds which morphed into what I can only describe as demonic chimpanzee sounds. Of course, just out of the reach of my small yet powerful flashlight's reach. I barely had signal enough to reach my wife to come pick me up. I piled everything into my hammock, dropped it from the two trees it was attached to and drug it to the road and waited. It took her over an hour to reach me and it was the most absolute terror I have ever endured while in the woods.
We are so caught off gaurd when this happens, where i was at was a very remote area in the coast mtn. Range 20 miles from civilization, You absolutely did the right thing pack up and get out of there Area, thank you for sharing your Story, Glad you made it home,,,
Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it. I have seen them. One of them, the female, I saw during the day. It was just after 1pm so it was a very good visual. What you describe here does fit in with the known behavior of the Sasquatch species. Good luck out there and stay safe. Ciao from Washington D.C. 👋🏼
Back around 1994 My family, and inlaws went up to a cabin not to far up the rim out of the valley where we live. I took my two young sons out for a walk, out in the forest. My father in-law went with us too. We had walked about a half hour when I noticed a large pile of scat on the forest floor. Not too far away from that was the bones and feathers of a turkey. As we passed, my father in-law and I heard about 6 or 7 , what I will say sounded like part grunt, park raspy bark...it was strange. There are no bears there, it was not the sound of a large cat... certainly not any deer that I have heard. We both looked at each other and then we heard the rustling of branches, shaken back and forth. We promptly turned and started back to the cabin. As you said, I'm not 100% certain it was a Sasquatch, but I KNOW it wasn't any Racoon or skunk... Anyway, I have never told this story to anybody...just the same as you..
Thanks for Sharing, I hate to tell you this, but just like my story it sounds like Bigfoot, Not always Seen, they were Surely watching you,,,Glad you got out Ok,,,Thanks again...
Midcoast Maine here, spent 90 percent of my 49 yrs in the woods ,thought i seen it all till mid 20s and we ran into one ,a massive male, cheanged my world my life all of it afterwards, never thought i see another one well i was wrong , we have seen them a handful of times in all the seasons, my accounts are in a book and also been documented on a few you tube channels and such, ive been yards from them (We have ) i ehould say cause thank God witnesses were with me eachtime they happened, these things arent apes ,what i see was a massive hair covered giant ,not 100 percent human but definitely what i would call a ancient race of giant that has always and still is here in the wilds ..
@@lilygg8018ame I’m glad I had no idea they were in Maine when I was growing up in the woods there. One of the oldest records I know of is a wildman sighted in colonial Waldoboro!
I’m from a midcoast family, grew up there. Did you have your encounter there or in west/northern Maine? It’s certainly possible either way, there are numerous corridors in places like Waldo Co that are back to being wilderness that extend unbroken into the north woods.
I used to think it was a myth like the Loch Ness Monster, but there are too many of these stories which are very similar from people in all walks of life to doubt them all. Thank you for sharing your story.
I was living in a Travel Trailer for a time on my sister's property, about 3 acres or so, circa Summer 2019. The house was in the front, on half the property, and I was in the 'wild lands' back field behind the back yard. This was near Redding, California and the Sacramento River, only several blocks away, basically in the "country" (and County) outside of town, but quite a few residences up and down the streets around the area on big lots. I don't remember what made me open the door and stick my head out to look around one late evening, but something caused me to do it. Maybe some noise. As I was looking around, I heard what sounded like several very slow footsteps in dry brush, going 'crack'... 'snap'... 'crack'... Like someone was walking away slowly, kind of stealthily. I then realized it was RIGHT THERE, about 15 feet away, maybe on this side of the 'see-thru' wire fence, but it could have been right on the other side on the neighbor's property back section. So I was looking, waiting to see some animal wildlife or something, but there was NOTHING. It was dark, but I had my outside trailer light on and there was some good moonshine. If there was something there, I should have been able to see it. Then I heard "someone" run off into the back field. It had to be a VERY large (if not HUGE), heavy animal, like a horse. It was "BUMP! BUMP! BUMP! BUMP!" I was surprised it didn't shake the ground or trailer. But not a 4-legged horse-like clippity-clop, it was an obvious two-legged run, probably with a very long stride. And then it was gone. But I saw NOTHING, like it was invisible. I went back in and locked my door and nothing else happened. I looked around the next day for some footprints, but didn't find any. I can only think that it must have been a Bigfoot.
Those coastal mountains are my backyard. I'm still waiting to see, smell, or hear, something out of the ordinary. I've heard many stories from locals, but I'm still anticipating that encounter. My daughters have a story of camping at one of the many rivers, and seeing large rocks coming out of the trees towards people fishing on the banks.
I think the bigfoots are screaming, "Get off my lawn!" in their language. I'm a forest ranger in Michigan. I have seen some of these creatures before. Scary for sure! The local Ojibwe Indians say that the bigfoots have bad intentions towards people and to never pursue them.
Several years ago I was employed by the BLM on the Oregon Coast. I was unique in that I was the only person in the 'office' to go out ALONE into the woods every day. Once I observed a male and female sasquatch eating blackberries. I watched them and they watched me as we ate berries from out respective patches. Another time I was decending a logging road to the river when a juvenile sasquatch daringly ran across the roa in front of me. They would follow me about my timber sale areas and shake the smaller diameter trees behind me. The other people in the office appeared to be terrified of going into the forest alone. I used to do nighttime bat surveys with a lady as she would not go out at night alone.
Very brave Mister, love your Stories too, I think there are probably lots of them in Oregon because of All are Forest, but they seem to be everywhere and So illusive too,Thank you so Much...
Please consider contacting Wes of Sasquatch Chronicles to do an interview. Wes and his large audience would love to hear your experiences immortalized in audio format. Thank you!
There is so much unexplained phenomenon through out the world 🌎 unless we speak more about it... The truth will remain hidden Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing your story 🙏
I often say "we have no idea of what is actually going on in this world." I've experienced things that cannot exist according to what we think we know.
I encountered a Bigfoot that looked just like Patty back in 1972 while Deer Hunting in the Arkansas Delta very near the Miss. River. It was about 8-9 ft. Tall and as wide as an Outhouse. I was dressed in camo leaning up against a giant oak tree covered in Deer Scent, it walked right by me, maybe 30 yrds. away --no big deal even tho I was very Amazed that a Humanoid could be this Gigantic...
I’m 29 now but I remember when I was eight years old me and my uncle went riding on his three wheeler down the power lines sometime in December around 2 in the morning and it was very cold that night, but the moon was very bright. You could even see your own shadow on the ground well once we went down the powerlines a good ways, it came out to a big open field we have Pitbulls that use to follow us when we rode but once we got to that big opening me and my uncle seen Bigfoot standing on the other side of this huge county tax ditch It just stood there watching us as we watched it the dogs were barking at it then they just took off scared it was so bright that night I can make out just about every detail and it was only about 20 yards away I’ll never forget it I seen it once again when I was 13 with my little cousin, running around through the woods playing like we always used to do this time. It never seen me, but I seen it and it was just walking casually through the words. I’m 29 now there’s not a single time in the woods It doesn’t cross my mind.
I was living in the backwoods of Raymond, WA., a beautiful and wild area. I never saw anything but heard plenty. My dog would closely follow me everywhere and sometimes just not allow me to go certain places at certain times. There would be tremendous splashing in the creek, not like a deer or elk crossing of which there were plenty. Sudden screams from deep in the trees. I always felt I was being watched but in a comforting way. I was never scared but felt protected way out there in the middle of the forest.
We heard something snapping branches, we thought it was a bear but it wasn't. It was something we had never heard before, not a bear, cougar, elk etc. it was big, very big and very angry, kind of a scream/roar/growl all rolled into one and then a big tree crashed to the ground,. You could hear the tree crack, snap and then crash to the ground. We never saw anything but the volume of that sound it made was very loud, very loud. Whatever it was, it didn't want us there.
Thanks for sharing your story. The rock throwing seems to be the way a lot of “them” let folks know they are intruding. Glad you weren’t injured and that they were satisfied just to run you off. I believe they are in many areas of our country and pretty sure I prefer NOT having my own encounter! 😱
They seem to have great accuracy with their rock- throwing. All reported incidents indicate that the rocks were aimed to scare off, rather than injure, as they always landed near to, but not at the humans.
one time in Southern California I was sitting in the woods waiting on the deer to show up during the evening and suddenly I just heard a Loud grunt then a second later I heard it again but then followed by a noise that I would describe as sounding like a pissed off donkey and then silence. The birds stop chirping and the squirrels that were running around prior to the noise stopped and I didnt see or hear any wild life after. It really freaked me out because I wasn’t sure if it was a bear or what the hell it was. But I what freaked me out the most was the silence it made my ears ring and my head was thumping from my heart beating so hard
Doing deep wood recovery I'm surprised that's the only experience you've had. I've hunted Southern Oregon most my youth and had several oddities whistling, footprints , red eyes rocks thrown hitting my hat. Never screamed at though. Thank God.
Thank you for sharing your story from a Bigfoot eye witness/researcher from here in Texas! Lots of folks have had similar encounters! That was awesome!
Hey, thanks for sharing your story. I'm 54 yrs old. Spent my life in the woods and the scariest thing to happen to me ever, happened just a couple of days ago. I was stalked by a big ole deer. I mean stalked. I first came upon it, as I entered the trailhead. I crossed a little bridge over a runoff wash. The deer was to my left getting a drink. I froze, it froze. I stared it down pretty good. Noted 3 black oval patches on it's chest, outlined in white fur and then the rusty reddish brown coat. As you cross this bridge, this is the split for every trail. I take the long high route. It goes thru old growth forest, a rain forest type or boral forest type area, with a long canyon (generally a long wash that leads down to the lake) Well I had to go left, past this deer and then straight fwd aways. I slowly walked around the deer and then turned to look behind me lol. It was RIGHT THERE. Only still to my left. There is a trail right there, the emergency exit. It runs the span or most of the span of road that runs along the sides top 5 acres. Then you head right and deep into the woods, which is where I expected the deer to be. They normally are. No matter how fast or slow I walked, what trail I took, that deer stayed with me. THEN as I'm coming around a corner, cause it's a winding patch in this area, I come right upon the thing. Standing there eating next to a felled tree. I had picked some mushrooms, so I told the deer here I brought you some mushrooms lol. I laid them down on the log. It watched me the whole time and as I backed away back onto the trail it started walking over. I was like ALRIGHT, it's gonna check out the shroomies. IDK if they eat the ones I piced or not. It didn't stop at the mushrooms, oh hell no. It wasn't walking either, it was trotting toward me. I had no where to run too. I just pulled out my buck knife, and I had a military backpack on. I figured it could protect my backside if need be. I didn't really feel like getting stomped to death by a deer that day. It never made a noise tho. Never stomped the ground, let out a sound of any sort. It had the kindest smiling face. HOWEVER, it was letting me know....get out of here. I don't wanna hurt you, but ..and I figured as much.....there's a baby over here, if you come near it I will hurt you. It was like it was speaking directly into my head. I backed away slowly, then turned and ran and cut down the hill. I was up top, but I know the trail head is at the bottom and the bottom trail leads directly to my truck. Just forget going by trail, and then there was the wash. I told myself I'm going down that. I look to my right and there's that damn deer, in the wash but just ahead of me. 15 acres of woods is not that much, but when everything is in full bloom, it gets thick and difficult to see thru very far ahead. I gave up the wash. I figured that's territory I don't wanna get caught on by THAT deer lol. I realized I was still atop a ridge and had to get down. I take my buck knife and walk past the wash, get to the other side and start running a bit and I hear that damn deer breaking branches as it runs thru the woods after me. I jumped over the side and slid down it almost landing in the lake! I stuck my knife in the ground like an ice pick, to stop myself. I look up and GD, there was that deer staring me down. I said to it..look...I'm out. There's my truck, the trailhead etc...I pick myself up and walk out to find ppl in the parking lot. Here's me all dirty, huffing and a buck knife in my hand lol. RIGHT BEHIND ME was a man on a bike busting balls to get out. That deer saw him too!! I've returned daily. There's 3. I think she was grandma, momma doesn't run from me. She is nursing a fawn who runs right up to me. Momma just stands there and lets the fawn figure out what to do. It always turns and goes back to momma tho. I never try to pet or entice them to come near me. I was a forester and wildlife conservationist by trade. (retired) I saw all 3 yesterday. In fact it was the fawn that I first saw. As I came around a corner it came running out of the woods towards me, then stopped. I was like..oh shit...where is momma. I could NOT see her, but knew she was there. When the baby ran back, then I saw her. They just started grazing. It was beautiful. Thanks again for sharing your story. The only other thing that throws things at people are squirrels. Especially during mushroom season. They sit in trees and throw acorns at you. Often you will hear the chatter, so you know it's a squirrel and acorns don't clank down hillside bouncing off other boulders. I hope I never run into one of those things. I doubt I ever will. Who knows..that's what everyone prob. thinks. and then.....
Thank you for Sharing Wow the was a good one, it Really is Amazing the stories of types that come from the Woods, it's Amazing how fast things change and we are not ready for it...
@@CabinTimeOregon Creepy! I kind of had a similar thing happen to me but it was with a really terrible smell. I never saw or heard anything, but wow it stunk bad like something dead just walked by.
I encountered a sasquatch 8.18.21 while hiking alone in the north cascade mountains, near Lake Diablo. Staring at one directly in the eyes… it was more real than anything i’ve ever experienced in this life.
I love the genuine way you talk! I would love to do a working holiday on a property like yours! Us british would love experience to learn different aspects of the wilderness
You are one of thousands, now in the ""club of no return""....fortunately, ....you lived to tell of the event by getting out ASAP, well done Sir, they don't like us for various things we just keep on doing.
I didn't see one I heard "something" in the Mt. Hood wilderness area about 1979 while camping with friends. Like I said I didn't see it, but it sounded like an Orangutan. There is nothing that sounds like an ape in Oregon. I have spent a lot of time in the forest and nothing sounds like that.
Yeah man, when I noticed rocks being thrown from all directions into the shrubs and up in the tree canopy etc. I felt it was a distraction, to get me to look this way and that way while the others re-positioned. We also heard rocks getting clacked together and thick wood crackling and snapping in half. Lastly there was a thud in the ground off in the distance. Then a few minutes later another huge thud in the ground really close to us that shook the ground under our feet. That's when the anxiety really hit me.
Thank you for sharing your story. I believe the bigfoot stories are true. There are too many consistent stories not to be. I also believe there is so much out there that we don't know about. Fascinating but scary!! Stay safe out there!
Thank you, I always thought they could be real, Been when it happened to me I knew deep down inside it had to be Bigfoot, and yes it was scary, Thank you...
Your one and only small story is one of many, which makes it a bigger story than I think you know. You could get one more person to tell their story and so on and so forth. It's about getting it out. Thank you for sharing.
heres my experience from what i can remember i was only like 7 at the time and it happened in the day and later at night. Hiking in Banff with my mom,mom friends and my cousin. We've been walking uphill for quite some time and we came to a plateau so we stopped to take a break and me being the kid i am still having energy and wanting to go, i went downhill close to this guess you could call it a river, but there was large stone in the middle of it so i picked up some rocks and tried hitting the boulder in the middle of the river. As im throwing rocks i start getting hit with pebbles coming from different directions with 1-2 seconds pause between each rock. shortly after i heard my name get called to continue the hike so i left the river and that my daytime experience. what i want know is if i was surrounded by juveniles that wanted to play or an adult telling me that my group is going and was aking sure i dont get left behind. Nigh time experience happened at maybe like 2-3am cause that's when i usually get up to pee ,but because of what happened earlier that day i couldn't sleep, but i did manage a snooze and sure enough i woke up cause had to pee and as i was just getting up to grab the flash light i thought a bear was sniffing my head so instinctively i hit it and made a yelp/yell to scare off the "bear". Now after i hit it, it made a "ah" sound, things went silent for a bit then i heard bi pedal thumps getting further away and with making 0 external sound aside from the deep bass like breathe and the thumps. So thinking back to it now im older it was squatch without a doubt, a bear walking through the woods makes all kinds of sounds and at the campsite we were at we had a nook and my tent was closer to the woods and my head was facing towards the woods which could explain why it got so close. I feel bad for hitting it though now that i know what it was. Prior to this i had no exposure to squatch so for the longest i just told my self it was a bear, but now being 29 and having some experience i know that was a squatch no doubt, simply because there's animal in north america capable of throwing pebbles forgot to mention 1 of those pebbles came from downhill the other 2 i just assumed it was loose rocks tumbling down the mountain or animal walking by kicking it up, but the downhill 1 that always stayed in my mind. Bi-pedal thumps also burned in my memory, but being a kid and not even knowing what bi-pedal means let alone the difference between quadraped and biped didnt really think of it that much it always been the pebbles that were thrown
Thanks for sharing this encounter. Glad that people are coming out (like you) who will let us, non-Witnesses, know that something really is out there. Too bad you didn't get to see it.
Thk u for sharing ur experience!! I've heard one here in NE Oklahoma & that sound was powerful & it was Nov. 2022 during deer season. I didn't know what it was but looked up sounds & found it alright & it's a bigfoot for sure. They've always been around here so wasn't any surprise or anything but I don't want to ever meet one!! Stay blessed 🌵🌹
Family members saw one in the late 70s and 2014. 70s was in broad daylight. Looked at them briefly then booked it out of there. Looked like a big hairy man. The 2014 encounter was a road crossing about 1 am. It ran across in front of them. Stopped briefly at the wood line to stare at the vehicle then took off into the woods. I don’t think they want to meet us either 😂
@@jetsengoytredkl Probably not lol 😂 we are weird to them as well. They've always been known to be around Oklahoma. At the pow wow in late 60's they talked about it. I'm only 4'11" nope don't want to meet em. Be safe 🌵🌹
@@desert-rose1070 LOL. I’m 6’ 1” . The 70s encounter was in a large pick up truck. It was huge and at least a foot taller than the truck cab. 4’ 11’ or 6’ 1” we’d be both very small to it. The enormous size and musculature is what made my sis in law sure it wasn’t a prankster in a suit. It moved away smooth and very fast. This area has had many reported sightings and a lot from closed lipped people who only talk about it if they feel comfortable with you. Speaking of a pow wow, my dad knew and worked with a chief of the Arapahos in the late 60s early 70s. We went see him when I was about 12 and we walked around the grounds where they had just had a pow wow. This was more in central Oklahoma. One of my more memorable experiences growing up 😊

Hi from Scotland 🏴 I thoroughly enjoyed your video about your Bigfoot experience, I don’t think I would ever go back to the woods again not even with an AK47. Stay safe all the best from Scotland 👣🥃🥃🏴
Great story, and you know what it was. And people still want to be in denial. How many people have to come forward before they will believe is all? Thanks for sharing your story, and it's like my first encounter. I knew it was nothing I've heard before in the woods I grew up in and ran around for 38 years. I know every sound we have where I live my whole life. What each animal sounds meant literally. And like you said, I never heard anything like a sasquatch vocalize. I Even heard one speak a language. Sounded like native Ojibwe to me. But the thing that really set it apart from everything else in the woods. Was the incredible power and booming vibration that it had. Every word it said shook me, vibrated my chest, and I stopped in my tracks like I was a toddler being scolded by my father,( who is 11 feet tall and 800lbs of solid mass.) They are real, and they are advanced than humans by far. They are not lessor like a gorilla. I believe gorilla are more intelligent than humans by far as well. Humans are not as brilliant as we believe we are. And we are not the only sentient being in this world/universe. ~ Dimensions . There are many species, many dimensions, and many sasquatch people. We have allot to learn and very little time to do so.
If I was to Guess what it was I would definitely think it was Bigfoot, i never ever in my life have heard a sound that they made, and then the rocks crashing thru the trees and they were big rocks just from the sound they made going down the cliff, Some people just don't want to believe, I do now, the mountains out here are so big full of trees and Dark, it's easy for them to hide here, Thank you...
Had a similar experience quite a few years back right in my own backyard in a rural area of southern Michigan. I had just gotten home from working 2nd shift, a little after midnight. I put my dog Raven on the leash to take her outside, since she had the routine of checking around the house after I got home. This dog was 85 pounds of Hell on four paws, wasn't scared of anything. Anyhow, we get into the backyard, every hair on her back goes up, she tucks her tail between her legs, and backs straight up until she bumps into my legs. Just then, something lets out the most God awful screaming roar I'd ever heard in my life. Raven spins around and all but drags me behind her to the front door. I get inside, and the dog goes straight to the couch, hops up on it and lies down like 'Nope! Not going back out there!' My wife comes out of the other room, looks at me and says 'You look like you just seen a ghost.' I said 'No...I think I just heard Bigfoot out back.' My wife replies 'I didn't hear anything in here.' Curiosity got the better of me, and I went back outside, to see if I could figure out what in the hell I'd just heard. As I'm standing there, with nothing but a dinky little flashlight in my hand, the thought occurs to me 'Something just scared the hell of a dog that isn't normally scared of anything...and I'm standing out here by myself with nothing but a flashlight...what the hell am I thinking?!' I got the feeling I really didn't want to know what was out there, so I went back in and tried to forget about it. A few days later, everyone in the house starts smelling this nasty stench, like something that'd been dead for awhile. I go outside and start looking around the front yard to see if I can figure out where the smell is coming from. Nothing...No smell. I walk around the corner of the house and WHAM, the stench hits me all at once. I look around, but couldn't see a single thing that would explain where the odor is coming from. Not long after that, I learned that there had been stories in the area for years of a Bigfoot roaming around.
Great Story, glad your dog let you know how serious the situation was like get the Hell out of there Now,,, You most definitely had one there no doubt,,,thanks...
No joke-Glad you didn't actuality see them. Thanks so much for sharing, appreciated. My dad & his family, when he was young in Oklahoma: Had one living on edge of farm. If they didn't bother its place, they didn't get bothered. His older sister had a jackass for a boyfriend (for a very brief time) He tried to play tough guy & after that / he refused to return to that area.
Thanks so much for sharing your story with us. My bigfoot story is pretty complicated for just the comment section. I know that they exist and I believe your story. It very well could have been bigfoot, just trying to get you out of their area. That's what they do. 💜
Don’t tell me the Williams, Or. 🤔. Keep your truth! 🙏❤️👊. Oregon Caves are a story for generations of people and natives! Don’t underestimate your visiting!
My husband and I live in Oregon and have had several experiences. We were sitting at Clearwater park just on the outskirts of Springfield Oregon. It was dusk and we were sitting by the river at a picnic table, when suddenly from the bushes across the river came a blood curdling scream. It sounded like a tarzan yell followed by a gurgling, screaming sound. That's the only way I can describe it. I grew up in the woods and I have NEVER heard a sound that weird in my life. What's even weirder is it kept making the scream over and over as it ran at lightning speed away from the river and up a ridge. To me it sounded like something scared it. Anyhow we got out of there. I think it had been watching us. Another time we were up on Quartz road near Vida picking chantrells. We'd been out there all day because we were finding a lot. It was nearing dusk. Then my husband tells me he is going to run up the ridge to see if he can find a bigger patch, so he leaves. As soon as he left I heard something very large walking straight toward me. Branches were snapping. So I screamed to my husband to come back. He yells "why?" And I yelled back "Because there's a large animal coming straight for me." Thank God he came running back real fast. Right when he got there he heard it too. Then it stopped walking. We waited silently for another branch snap. Then we heard one snap, and it stopped again. Then it was getting dark and my husband said we better go. Thank goodness for his good sense. He had a pistol, but that wouldn't do much. We high tailed it out of there. It must have been watching us because it came walking toward me as soon as my husband left. Another time my husband was camping with his brother up by Waldo lake. Around 10 pm they heard a blood curdling scream. They stayed awake all night holding their guns. In the morning they left. lol! You would too, believe me. Our other experience was on a river. We were driving along on a hot day and decided to go for a swim. We pulled over at a nice looking swim area with a good sized beach. We played in the river for hours. I found a deer antler as soon as we got there. It was my bright idea to try and swim across the river to go explore a very pretty meadow on the other side. There were no roads or trails over there. Just wilderness. So we swim across and as soon as we got out of the river we noticed a forest boundary sign with a metal post laying on the ground as if someone just yanked it out of the ground and threw it there. (I think those are cemented in!) I told my husband "Look at that. That's weird." If you've ever seen one you know you can't just yank them out of the ground. lol! So we continue walking toward the meadow, which has a vast forest behind it. As soon as we walked about 10 feet we heard a huge tree knock coming from the woods just behind the meadow. We both stopped walking and listened. We heard a few more loud tree knocks, so loud they echoed through the woods. We looked at each other and agreed it was a bigfoot. Gripped with fear we headed straight back to the river and dove in and swam quickly back to the other side, packed our things and left. I know they are real and I don't want to meet one. No thank you! Anyone who doesn't believe needs to go spend a few nights in any Oregon forest. The fact that so many of us are hearing and seeing them tells you they must be over breeding. They are everywhere now. No joke!! And they aren't friendly.
Well first off I'm glad nothing bad happened to you Guys, and your Right if you live in Oregon long enough and actually spend time in the Woods theres a good chance you will Run into a Bigfoot, I never went looking for one, they just found me, Wrong place wrong time kind of thing, I too believe there real after hearing that Scream you Never forget,,,Hey thanks for Sharing your Stories with me...
I've heard the screaming noise it sounds like a woman but it's a deep goth roll type scream, you can tell it's coming from something that's a large chested, my encounter was in Lassen National Forest Way Back in the early 1990s. Your video gave me the idea that I should probably do a video about my experience as well. The scream had a paralyzing effect, that's really difficult to describe I was in my tent with my girlfriend and my dog and this thing was circling our tent screaming, my arms felt like they were encased and cement, all of us were paralyzed with fear I remember looking at my dear rifle thinking I needed to grab it but I couldn't get the strength to move my arms, and after a while all of us passed out, when we awoke the next morning nothing had been Disturbed, Daybreak seems sort of euphoric but calmly broke camp and left.
Big brown blur hit my car between Viola & Shingletown. 55-0 instantly. It kept running car was trashed. Figure it was running 65+mph to catch me & hit my car.
If you go back to that area I strongly suggest that you are armed and DO NOT go alone and that you always stay close to the person accompanying you. Do not lose sight of the other person. Otherwise, you could end up as another one of David Paulides’ MISSING 411 stories about people who vanished, never to be seen again.
Thank you so much for your concern, and Your Right, Sadly that day I was alone, I just popped in to grab a chain that we left behind on a job that day, wasn't there 10 min.s, Very unexpected Visitors...Thank You Again...
I've had two encounters over the years, one in 1995, the last in 2021. I've heard whoops and howls so many times that I can't count them all. Never heard tree knocks. In April of 2021 I was on a mountain bike ride up the hollow where I live, I go every day it's nice out. At the head of the hollow there's a cabin and the owner keeps it and the land around it well maintained. I come to the top of a small hill across from the cabin and out in the field 75-100 yards beyond the cabin is a large black figure. I stop, dismount the bike and watched this figure for over a minute, it never moved. It was jet black all over, the shoulders were WIDE, the head was big and round. I couldn't see any light between the arms and the body, but there was light between its legs from about where the knees would be. I never took my eyes off it for over a minute and it was perfectly still and I thought maybe it was a silhouette target the owner had placed in the field to shoot at. I hopped back on the bike and start down the hill to the gate that enters the property about 150 yards away. The figure is still in view until it disappears behind an outbuilding, when the field where it was standing comes back into view the figure is gone. This happens in about 10-12 seconds. I wish I'd crossed the fence and went to see where it went, didn't want to trespass. There's another individual that's had an encounter in that area and he refuses to go up there.
Oregon is kinda big 🤔 & I don't know where 25 miles from your home is? Maybe a river, lake, or mountain reference? Name of canyon? My BF story: A BF screamed at me and showed his teeth (out in the woods in Alaska) 👏
What an experience!
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for Sharing, I Believe Now...
Fascinating!

I am convinced. This man is clearly telling the truth.
Thank you, really have no reason to make this up, I just wasn't sure if I would ever tell the Story of what Happened that day...

That sounds like Bigfoot alright, Becareful out there, thanks for sharing...
Sounds similar to a fox or bobcat
@@ashleycountiss720 No. Nothing as small as a fox or bobcat could have produced that sound. Whatever it was, it had lungs and the ability to vocalize that were far beyond the capacity of a human being, much less any forest animal I've every heard.

Sure sounds like it, they are Sneaky...Thanks fot Sharing...

Enjoyed your encounter. From Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you...
Welcome to the club sir.
It took me alot of years before i came close, you never know when or were they may get you, goodluck, Becareful...thanks...
I think the bigfoots are screaming, "Get off my lawn!" in their language. I'm a forest ranger in Michigan. I have seen some of these creatures before. Scary for sure! The local Ojibwe Indians say that the bigfoots have bad intentions towards people and to never pursue them.
Let me tell ya, I believe them Now, thanks...
Thank you. I was raised west of Yamhill. There is much activity out there.
Thank you, they woild have lots of Room to Roam out there, and Water too, Don't Doubt you at All, thanks again...
What did their faces look like?
@@CabinTimeOregonwell said, brave is putting it light.
Please consider contacting Wes of Sasquatch Chronicles to do an interview. Wes and his large audience would love to hear your experiences immortalized in audio format. Thank you!
You sure they weren't bears - they love berries?

Thank you very much, and true...
Did you see any facial features?
I’m a knower. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for Sharing, that would have been pretty scary as a kid funning into bigfoot, glad everyone is Ok...
Your a brave person just to live there, that is pretty remote area up there, Thanks for sharing...
Sounds just like My Story, they want to be Heard and Not Seen. Thank you for Sharing...
Thanks for sharing.
one time in Southern California I was sitting in the woods waiting on the deer to show up during the evening and suddenly I just heard a Loud grunt then a second later I heard it again but then followed by a noise that I would describe as sounding like a pissed off donkey and then silence.
I've never heard a noise louder than that silence in my life.
Doing deep wood recovery I'm surprised that's the only experience you've had. I've hunted Southern Oregon most my youth and had several oddities whistling, footprints , red eyes rocks thrown hitting my hat. Never screamed at though. Thank God.
Your days coming Mister,,,I guess if someone came in my house unexpectedly I too would be mad, So i just got out of there house...
Thank you for sharing your story from a Bigfoot eye witness/researcher from here in Texas! Lots of folks have had similar encounters! That was awesome!
Thank you very Much...

I encountered a sasquatch 8.18.21 while hiking alone in the north cascade mountains, near Lake Diablo.
Staring at one directly in the eyes… it was more real than anything i’ve ever experienced in this life.
Glad you are Ok, it is a Scary thing I froze to almost in disbelief and I heard the rocks and Screams, Thank you...
Interesting, especially as when places have 'Diablo', or Devil in the name, it often means there is SOMETHING unpleasant there.

I enjoyed it. Thanks. I’ve heard two encounters by people I know here in BC.
Thank you for reaching out and publicly sharing what you experienced.
Interesting, indeed. Very believable

Thanks for sharing it's very interesting so many things we don't know à yet.
heres my experience from what i can remember i was only like 7 at the time and it happened in the day and later at night.
I bet it was a squash, a Bear probably would have ate you, but bigfoot he was checking you out, thank you very much for Sharing...

I failed to mention the 70s encounter was right next to Lake Wister Oklahoma. The 2014 encounter was about 20 miles north east of Lake Wister.
One of my more memorable experiences growing up 😊
@@jetsengoytredkl yep I remember it was in tahlequah & spavinaw. My dad took us I'm Cherokee,I heard they are branch off Choctaw. 6'1 you'd tower over me. Thanks for sharing as others have said your story is very consistent with other Sasquatch encounters and they are definitely out there.

It's really tough, sharing that for the first time. But for me at least it gets easier the more you do so. Much love, man!
Every word it said shook me, vibrated my chest, and I stopped in my tracks like I was a toddler being scolded by my father,( who is 11 feet tall and 800lbs of solid mass.)
They are real, and they are advanced than humans by far.
That's not something anyone wants to deal with. Especially in near dark with a crappy flip phone flashlight.
I had my only experience (so far) on May 1st, 2022 in
Big South Fork NRRA, way back on a dead end road in middle TN while solo camping.
Thanks for sharing your encounter. 👍👍
Jesus said his Father has many abodes. Dimensions? Who knows how many levels of creation exist?

Great story!!
They arent from earth. They like it here, a lot.
Sounds like Bigfoot alright, I did the same thing I froze, the Scream is something else alright, Glad you all made it out alright., Thank you...
Had a couple screamers come to the spot where I was camping on an active logging Job between Whitmore and Shingletown. 1990
Big brown blur hit my car between Viola & Shingletown. 55-0 instantly. It kept running car was trashed. Figure it was running 65+mph to catch me & hit my car.
Thanks for coming forward with truth. Blessings, go truckers and railway workers. Cleveland
GREAT STORY FRIEND, THANKS FOR SHARING IT!! 👍
Thank you for sharing this story. 🙏 ❤😊
Oregon is kinda big 🤔 & I don't know where 25 miles from your home is? Maybe a river, lake, or mountain reference? Name of canyon? My BF story: A BF screamed at me and showed his teeth (out in the woods in Alaska) 👏
Coast Summit, probably 10 or 12 miles up a road in the woods...
Thumbs up for your story. 👍 And a thumbs up for your t-shirt! 👍
I have the best luck if I just go to the woods and let Bigfoot find “me”! Thanks for sharing!
