As someone who got him for the first time ever, fully leveled him up, got him to forge 32, sig 100, it's very easy to get caught in the curse of reliance on him, but i'll hold off on using him except in AMs, currently using him in AM lvl 52 along with Galvatron and cyclonus.
Hey Blue! I just got him maxed out, with his sig pretty high and I think he's pretty good. I think the game has changed though to where Tronus isn't the best bot for every situation. He's still incredibly well rounded, kinda like OGP, but I still find other bots like Megatron for example, to be better in a lot of situations. I guess Tronus acts as a safety net as you said, but I don't think I will over rely on him. I think maybe that was the benefit of him being gone from the game for so long. I was able to practice a lot of other bots to the point where I can do pretty ok without Tronus.
Well no bot is the best for every situation…Tronus is just one of the most well rounded. My advice is always to use him sparingly unless you really like him. There are plenty of other great bots and you definitely don’t need to use him.
@BlueforestTFTF hard agree!! I think I'll use him sparingly. Enjoyment wise I think he's pretty fun, though not my favorite. That's probably still a toss up between Jazz, Megs, or OGP.
Is there something wrong with calling Megatronus by his actual name? Everyone calls him “‘tronus” like he’s their best friend or something, or like that was his nickname back in high school. I mean until everyone starts doing the same thing with “‘tron,” “‘wave,” “‘hide,” “‘streaker,” “scream,” and the rest of them, this just sounds weird.
Honestly, having played through a good majority of the game without tronus, he feels almost irrelevant this far into the game for me. That being said, I have been a soundblaster enthusiast since he came out back in the Kabam era, so I’m definitely a bit biased here, Tronus has a lot of survivability, but it doesn’t really matter right now when I vaporize the opponent in a single specials anyway lol Overall, good bot I’d probably use at some point, just not now.
I think you said it best, megatronus has a LOT of survivability, especially with the relic of preservation, he can survive devastating specials and minimize their damage to only 20% of his health.
He’s a great bot but he gets boring fast, and outside of high level AMs there’s very little reason to use him at all, unless you really like him. Not having access to him for nearly a year has been a good thing.
He’s a very limited bot given that he can only copy melee and armor buffs. He’s great in certain kinds of fights but most other tacticians are more effective in most fights.

They call him tronus because there's necrotronus too and it might be confusing

in next days, pro players prf will be tronus overall 😆
I miss Bonecrusher.
I got him and now hes my top bot too, lol he like 9.8k and his sig is like 45
Thoughts on Nemesis Prime?

now Nemesis Prime and Necrotronus remains to go
Don't forget skywarp.

@@Julii_and that question is up to Netflix to answer it.
