Another great update video, the layout is looking great. We've just lost a complete update video of Dylan's 009-layout build, so he's got to do another one. Which will hopefully be coming soon. We're looking forward to seeing your other layout being revealed... Cheers James 😊👍

Incredible stuff, thanks for this detailed update. Much of what you have done seems way beyond what I think I could achieve, but nevertheless it is inspiring.

Good evening and Happy New Year to you all. I've watched a few of your videos now and enjoyed how you've gone about creating your layout. I was just wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for me.
Firstly, I've noticed you've used magnets to allow conductivity for your lights. I think it's a great idea. I was wondering if you could advise how you went about it?
Secondly, I saw that you're using YamorRC YD8116 controller. I was wondering what your experience of it controlling your station and street lights was like? I am assuming they are all on your 12v bus with resisters attached? Looking at the system you can have all the lights in sections so I am guessing each address points to a section is that right?
    Thanks
    Tim

If u do a search on Google for magnetic wire connector, there are various different shapes and sizes depending on what u actually need. Solved quite a large problem for us those did.
      As for the yamorRC YD8116...
It's a very versatile unit. They have 2 inputs. A ddc input and a power input. On the flap section, we have looped the dcc and power inputs and connected both to the bus. So it's powering all the lighting from the controler power. The unit running the main board, however, has been given its own 12v power supply as the drain was a bit much for the bus. It was leaving the solenoids on the point switchers under charged, so it had to be done.
We will be going into a bit more detail over the next month on this unit showing what it's capable of and how to install and program it so keep your eye out for that.
Happy new year and we are so happy u are enjoying the channel,
      Regards.... Mark and Andy!

@@GlenmarochLane Thanks for the response. That's great. I'll have search
Thanks for advising on the unit. I will look forward to watch your next couple of update videos as I am about to start the wiring of the lights on my main layout so that's great timing.
      Thanks Tim
