Not really I got these hundreds of times and even remarried (then again I've been playing this game for 9 years) I think the weirdest thing to happen in Tomodachi Life is for a couple to break up on their own and remain friends (they're given a proper cut scene and the player has no control over the situation)
Yep, that’s what I did. A guy I wanted to marry a girl had the heart icon in the window, but I didn’t save.. I tried the proposal but failed it the first try, so I wanted to retry but I realized I didn’t save. So I exited without saving loads of times until the heart popped up again, and then when I saw the heart, I saved, retried the proposal and I did it.
*In the beginning* "Do you want to give it another try?" Rachel: No, no I don't think I will. *At the end* "Do you want to give it another try?" Rachel: perhaps.

Then the husband asked to get back together. Didn't work the first time so he tried a 2nd time, this time worked, got back together and had their 2nd kid... And then they broke up again. 2nd couple, the wife asked but their ex was already taken so the husband's current sweetheart told her off. Lol none of these couples got back together sadly.

My boyfriend decided that he wanted to break up with me this time (the first time we broke up I was the one that dumped him, I didn't want to be with him in the first place cuz I wanted to be with someone else). I told him to work it out but it didn't work.

For me this happened commonly with my main MVP ship of my Tomodachi Life- Gramps (Final Sora the older bro) and Nerd (Basically the female version of Gramps except nerdy and cool) Both are 100% on the Compatibility Tester perfect Match! (I have the US version) after months of in game, they broke up (I chose try to resolve things… because I want them together which failed) I wanted those two back together… I refused to pair them up with anyone else on my Tomodachi Life Island! I gotten the ex reconciliation 3 times. 1 time with Gramps and 2 times with Nerd! The cause of why it happened commonly for me is mainly because of their… friendship levels.… Gramps and Nerd were together for many months… Here is the friendship levels when the ex reconciliation finally succeed Nerd: Still Friends (Dark Green) Gramps: Great Memories! (Light Green) Gramps and Nerd are still together on my Tomodachi Life going very strong. 😀 I am shocked it’s rare to get… 🤔 maybe luck was on my side then?
