Carters Steam Fair galloper is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen!! I come all the way down from Scotland just to ride it - really takes me back to when we were kids!
Hi, Joby, thanks for somehow finding the time for your videos - I really enjoy hearing all your stories about the history of all the fairground rides, and all the tender loving care given to them all! Clearly, a full time and immensely skilled job. Do you ever take on apprentices?? :)
Such a terrible shame that all the rides have now been sold off separately and that Carters Steam Fair will never operate again! So much of John Carters family history was in that fair and it was so unique. Great shame as it was always so nicely presented.
