Chester train station looked very interesting ! It's a bit ancient looking ,but that adds more interests & characters !!! Everything is almost the same everywhere we go in the world ...so I'd rather see those old British architectures & buildings ,stations ,more European stuff than modern everything !!! I love trips by train !! Those views from train windows in Wales & Scotland are just breathtaking 😍👍👍💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💕💞
Lots of good informative stuff - it seems that Arriva did well, as far as it went. Did they integrate at all with bus services? - even the Arriva ones in north Wales? Or did they - like all the other 'bus bandits' - fail to make their train managers talk to their bus managers; such a lost opportunity, and a big black mark against the whole privatisation thing.
Rick Townend Oh NO! Absolutely no integration with any bus services. I’m afraid that in Wales there are some excellent examples of bus stations being built at the opposite end of town to the railway stations, e.g. Swansea, Pontypridd, Aberdare, while in Cardiff a perfectly located bus station directly outside the railway station ( exactly like the Swiss planners can achieve) was closed and replaced by office development. It has taken almost five years to agree on a new location for a bus station several hundred metres from where it used to be.
The problem is I had to decide whether to use subtitles or voice to describe the scenes. I usually use voice, but this time I thought I would try subtitles, so thanks for your feedback. I don’t know what I’ll use if there’s a next time!
I am Japanese, so I appreciate subtitles, too ! Lol. Though I speak English, but still struggle to understand British Englush speakers ,though I've improved a lot by watching those videos on Y.T. ! I speak American English as I live in the States ! Lol.💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
