I put my skates on yesterday, rolled 3 inches and felt like I was going to fast. 💀 suffice it to say this is going to take longer than I thought to get used to. I never thought quad skates would be harder to learn than blading.😫
Oh yes! They are way harder. I tell anyone who has never skated and wants to learn to give the blades a try first. I can skate in both. But the first time I put blades on I took right off and I have been rolling every since. And I have never once fallen in them. You can wear blades at most rinks and their are some cool moves on blades that can’t be done in quads. Best wishes!

It use to be fun and dope when I was a teen but after high school I left the skates behind and now trying to pick them back up it’s super challenging….please tell me it gets better

Yes!! As it should be Friday, Sunday or any day of the week. Brothers & Sisters jamming to the beat, exercising & listening to good music for 3 or 4 hours!! In the 80s-90s, you could find everybody at the Rink 3 or 4 days a week. Inexpensive fun for $2 to $5. I'm glad to see more young people 25 -40 coming out & supporting other rinks across the country. The skate floor has always been our workout, stress reliever & place to network--be it coast to coast or North to South. Thank you for a great video!! 👍🏾

I started skating when I was 18 years old an had so much fun😊, i skate better backwards than forward. The last time I skated I was 45 years old, I don't skate anymore I'm 62 years old, I really enjoy watching, I'm so glad I can watch them skate on my cell. Our beautiful people are ✊🏾"BLACK AMERICANS"✊🏾 & we are a very specific, supremely gifted, chosen people & that was not born just out of our melanin, bcuz if that were the case, every other melanated people in the world would have that divinely special sumthn that ONLY we have & the FACT of the matter is they just DON'T have any where near as much charisma, effortless talent, ability, smoothness, swag, coolness & literally EVERYTHING we touch we make look GOOD-T, bcuz our people are "POETRY IN MOTION"!!!
