78 Boomer here in albuq.....rainbow gardens during the late 50s to late 60s...we had speed restrictions, organ music and 2 hr skate sessions/50 cents AND couples roller waltzing.....once in a while the "skate police/instructor" would fly pass us doing a few "moves"...otherwise it was just shallow cross-overs and skating a few feet backwards. LOL

Went to the roller rink today and oh my lord. I skated before but it was a long time ago. Busted my ass a lot but I haven’t had so much fun doing so. Skating is so fucking fun and I don’t understand why it’s not so popular.
The algorithm just brought me into the whole skating scene and I love it! Brings back memories that I was never as good as these folks. This is one of my favorites of the ones I've lied because they have a lot of people doing Twirls which I enjoy more than the steps or slides. I wish my knees were young again LOL
2:25 mark: 2nd dude in green pants was interesting to watch. He made me feel w/each movement he was a split second away from falling. But it's just his style...😄

This and the bowling alley, or club, or concert or a drive in, or, a local school band at a bon-fire party in the country..
