I am from Kerala. I used to live in Mumbai. But i left. With every high rise there is challenge of density of population, water supply, trans, pollution problems. The local train is harrowing you cannot work in these huge building traveling from local train. 10 people die every day in train. There should be efficient transport then only it will be called a world class city.
Most tier 1 cities are actually not clean everywhere. From pictures Paris looks stunning but there are poor areas in Paris that is filled with trash in the streets as well.
