Sorry to take this out on you but HELL NO THIS WAS NOT WORTH IT!!! The app was messed up. It only allows you to do the CR scan one time. Then if you want someone else to upload you can't get the frame to show you the CR code to link it ever again except for the one time- so your relative is not going to work. Then I tried to just hard wire it to my phone but the phone didn't see the frame as a hard drive so I couldn't move more photos to it. WTR!!! Oh, and the instructions are vague as heck!
I TOTALLYYYYYYY AGREE! IT'S LITERALLY XMAS MORNING AND THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK.
We bought this about a year ago and I’m still trying to figure it out it’s absolutely brutal. I can typically follow directions and get anything to work I thought it was just me
Any chance you can get an Ap that works? Customers do not enjoy having their time and money wasted.

Does this work the same for videos to the frame?
My Aluratek 10 inch photoframe says "the wifi cloud frame stopped working". Earlier I heard a clicking noise which sounded like a problem with the power supply and audio. No one at Aluratek was available on the weekend to answer questions.
I am having the same issue. Not even 24 hrs after I opened it for Christmas.

I got it as a Christmas gift and opened it after a while but sadly the touch screen seems to have a problem, sometimes it works but most of the time, it doesn't. Is it possible to know why?

Very disappointed cannot get through the email setup keeps telling me that my email address is invalid! Trying tech support and getting no response called the number and they are closed! Wish I had never purchased the store probably won't take it back now! Disappointed beyond measure!

I just received the 8” wifi touchscreen digital photo frame as a gift. There is nothing in the instructions on how to add music. I have searched TH-cam and can’t find anything. When I touch music it just says no music file on local storage but no where to add. Can you please help? Thanks

I just bought and returned the Aluratek 15" frame. It wouldn't connect to my WiFi. I rebooted the router and changed my password. I still got the disabled message, but my laptop and printer work just fine.

Our WiFi frames do not, however we do offer digital frames specifically with motion sensor. These are SKU numbers ADMSF310F and ADMSF108F.
Can i upload an animated photo like those in wich only the rain moves but the rest of the image is static?
Usually, Android system digital frame will support gif pictures, but the picture should be static, no moving effect.
I don't have a WiFi router. Can it still be used without the router?
You can use an SD card or flash drive with the frame that does not have a wifi network connected to it - however, you won't be able to send photos to friends/family with this option from far away. Hope that answers your question!

I'm asking bc I recently was at Drs office and I noticed the digital picture frame without anything being displayed on the screen.
I suspect that the real reason for this is to keep an eye on patient between the check in nurse and the Dr.
When I asked about what it was the Dr became oversensitive and said not to touch stuff on the wall......

That is a light sensor to adjust to brightness according to the ambient light in the room.

I purchased Aluratek AWS09F from BestBuy for $139.99 and the touch screen was nonresponsive right out of the box. Since it was a gift, I didn't open it immediately (lesson learner) and Best Buys return policy is only 15 days so they told me to kick rocks..
Is there anything Aluratek can do about a warranty claim?

We got the frame started. 3 different email addresses sent photos. Now we aren't receiving any new photos from emails or apps. What could be wrong??
Are you still able to view pictures? Check your Wi-Fi (router).

So far I'm disappointed. The app is trash and won't link up to the frame. And the motion sensor doesn't work

What a load of crap. Binding doesn't work (tried under Android and iOS using three separate WiFi networks.
The frame cannot connect to the cloud, but it gives you no feedback to troublechoot. This product simply does not work. How is it Google can do this sort of thing so well, but Aluratek sucks at it? Crappy software and POS servers, thats how.
