Great Video! I was thinking of purchasing a Rover P4-90. The owner is asking $8,500 OBO! The condition looks to be around the same as the one in your video. Do you think $8,500 is too much to pay? I am unable to find any credible website to determine a value. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
this a great car..i owned a p4 90 in 1985 great car ..sadly i sold it ..i regret it ..its a 4speed with 5th gear electrically operated..its worthwhile buying it..easy to maintain very reliable..you will love it ..it will grow into you..engine would would be pin drop silent if the valves are justed properly when in idlle...this car is comparable to rolls Royce ..thank you for this review it brings back fond memories..ever lasting ..they dont make cars like this any more..sadly..
As a reviewer you failed to mention that the majority of the Rover cars of this type were powered by six cylinder engines of I.o.E configuration. You avoided mentioning that the gear lever is designed to be adjustable to the driver's wishes. The ignition key is no different from any used in virtually all cars of the period and before. On the test car, the windscreen wipers had not parked correctly off the glass, so are likely to be out of adjustment.
