Back when I first tried kpop I bypassed Lovelyz. My last trip to Korea I bought as many cds as possible as now favourites. 'Wow' and 'Twinkle' being the first that got to me. My go to music now for stress relief.

"Obliviate" was their first comeback after appearing on Queendom and unfortunately it was also their last comeback as a group before disbanding. Lovelyz is my favorite group. Their music was always beautiful. Strong vocals and interesting instrumentals. They even released an album of just the instrumentals. Also interesting you said someone being healed about “That Day”. “Heal” is the name of the intro for that album 😂 Some of my faves are Lost n Found (I get Sailor Moon vibes) and Beautiful Days (a bittersweet song with an elegant MV).

I knew Lovelyz before Queendom but I never listened to their songs before it, and after the show I became a big fan, unfortunately they released only one more ep before entering on hiatus (7 of them left wollim, but said that they are willing to comeback as lovelyz in the future). You should also check out Twinkle (kinda like a Christmas song, which I know you're not a big fan but this one is cool), Destiny (Oh My Girl did a cover of this one and it became big in kr), Waf-zak (their only summer comeback) and WoW! (this one is so fun). Of course there are a lot of other great songs, but these ones are really different from each other and stand out for me, hope you like it! I like their slower songs like 'Good night like yesterday' too, so I recommend you listen to it on your own or to react to. Now, for Bsides, "Dream in a Dream" is a MUST. Other ones I like a lot are "Baby Doll" and "1cm".

My most fave is For You because both the song and the MV is so fresh and fun! ✨ It always cheers me up whenever I'm feeling sad. P.S. Jin have a solo song where the MV have Xiumin as one of the lead actor and it's one of the best ballads ever.

If I remember correctly, "For You" was the first song Lovelyz were able to promote with Jisoo. Right before debut, someone claimed that she was in an abusive lesbian relationship with Jisoo. It was unfounded, but the stress of it put Jisoo into the hospital such that she missed the group's debut. At least Woolim stood up for her.
