River Spey Descent In 11 Minutes

Ray Goodwin (who guides this trip for Frontier Bushcraft) has paddled the River Spey in 11 hours.
While our trip takes a more usual 3-4 days to make this classic British river journey, for the impatient here's the descent from Loch Inch to Spey Bay in 11mins.
Even Mr Goodwin can't paddle it this quickly!....

Just watched this again Paul, as my good friend (a good canoeist) and I are planning on doing this trip in July (bearing in mind I've never river canoed, only open water and mainly kayak, lol) 😀

I watched this video just about a week before going on a Spey trip and having never, done such a trip or much white water, I thought oops I hope we don't swim too much thankfully we (mostly) did not, It was a brilliant trip, reasonable level water level and good weather, It was Salmon season but I think we were considerate. I just re watched this to savour the trip.
