I had a horror story on TikTok where I tried to open a TikTok shop. I had no idea there were two kinds of accounts and no one from tik Tok told me there is a Creator account and a seller account. When I opened the tik Tok shop they switched me to seller account without explaining or telling me. This put me in terrible Jeopardy of getting violation strikes from cover songs I do and it blocked me from doing duets or stitches. I am an artist and Creator first and it's taken me 3 yrs to build my channel and I didn't want to jeopardize it. The customer service over there is pretty atrocious and it took me a long time to straighten things and find someone in customer service who knew what was going on. Now I've switched back to a Creator account. But I still have 29 more people to get to reach 10K followers and then I will join Creator program. I'll let you know how it goes. I've certainly paid my dues and then some.

I was so used to my old 10 sec videos going viral that I wanted to give up on 1 min content. But I recently had 1 of my 1 min vids go viral and made my first $100 from TikTok over a few days! So happy I didnt give up. Now I know it’s not a coincidence you’re posting this right after. This video motivated to keep going. I know I’m going to make thousands of dollars doing what I love and giving all glory to Jesus!

Thats true , I've been working in a Tiktok account and my videos have basically the same avarage time view , but my videos when people comment because I put something without intention but people comment because that make my video go viral.

I’m still on the creator fund because I’ve heard so many horror stories about the switch revolving around the type of content I do. 😭 If I switch and this works it could literally change my life, but if it doesn’t then I lose my side hustle for the last two years… 😮💨

I think TikTok Always favored comments as a side effect of favoring retention (people stay on your post to comment read comments which drives up retention)
