- I was at the Biryani capital of India, Hyderabad and tried the best Biryanis of Hyderabad. All the places are decently priced and serve great biryani each has its own flavor and taste.

points to note:
1. Always order a biryani with double masala
2. Try to eat the biryani by itself and try not to use the raita and salan to get the full taste of biryani

The consistency of the raita being watery may appear bizzare to you but it is common in most parts of India and people are quite acquainted with it

Well on an average every biryani outlet taste is above average and it's all about the preference of the foodie. My go to place is grand hotel at abids, Sohail hotel malakpet and many etc

Word of advice, if you love spice rich biryani, request for double masala and try not to mix Raita with Salan

Hyderabdi Nizams/Nawabs were under allegiance to British, hyderabad was under protection of British.... So that's why British did not occupy Hyderabad, had Nizams rebeled against British rule they would have been destroyed in no time.

The royal protocol quality of biryani will made more than 46 ingredients used in khan zadeh(royal) gharanaz rarely in old city of Hyderabad.

warna mirchi ka saalan is just for flavour and raita shud b had with the last few morsels so as to be able to digest the biryani.
The colour in most of the places is coz of kesari yellow food colour.
The Mirchi ka salaan tht we get in restaurants is not the original Mirchi ka Saalan.
