    This is a video on advanced ship stability for senior mariners and naval architects; and explains the use of Simpson's first rule to calculate areas of a space enclosed by a straight line and curve.

    this topic is a lot easier esp. when you have gone calculus, in integrals and finding the area under a curve.

    May you please question with 12 ordinates ,if we have 12 ordinates then there is confusion with 12 ordinates.

    calculate area,TPC, centre of flotation from aft

      The denominator is 4 x 3 = 12
