I love seeing brilliant classical musicians appreciating folk music styles! Bluegrass may be simple, but it is not easy. I have heard classical violinists who try to play it without the proper feeling and rhythm, but I think Augustin really gets it!
I supposed I’m used to hearing him play this encore for US audiences, because I’m always so surprised with how quiet the audiences from other countries are during the performance. Wonderful performance as always!
