Great video! I really like how you broke it down into non-technical terms. Making it easy to comprehend. You, my friend, should be teaching at a tech school or something to that extent.
I've been having light problems with my trailer forever, this video is a gift. I was looking for a product to fix my car, and I might have the power to fix both now. Thanks Chad!
Very good video in explaining the basic functions of the Power Probe 3. Easy to understand procedures and, like with anything, practice will improve comfort with use and skill level. Thank you for the video.
Thank you. Great lesson. Great teacher. I have the Power Probe 3 and need more training on how to use it. If youtube would have had the $Thanks on the bottom of your video I would have sent you $2.00. Hope you get it soon.
Very good video clearly explained my friend.can I just say, these probes are great for finding ball park yes/no areas but my experience has taught me they sometimes cause confusion when the probe says bulbs and fuses are good but after a volt drop test they've proved faulty and this applies to the bad earth scenario. I always double check with the multimeter if I find a bad suspected poor earth etc but yes, this is a mighty fine video mate🇬🇧👍🏻
Well i just realized that the power probe at the shop i work at is definitely broken and doesn't work properly. Thanks for the video now i am going to go and finish cursing! 😂
Great video. I have a power probe, just poor directions came with it. I have wiring issues on a 72 beetle. I think this thing will help me out if i figure out the proper use of it. Thank you for your time.
Thank-you for breaking this down so its easy to understand. I'm not the brightest tool in the shed, but I could understand this! Question: will this measure ohms of resistance? Like for testing spark plug wires?
Thank you! That was great video you've explain alot. However I've a question on using the Power probe 3 on ignition testing primary and secondary do you or can you use mode 4 during your testing.
Great video! Hey, and thank you for putting the "LIKE/SUB/"THUMBS UP" on the screen and NOT running your mouth like everyone else that rambles the same shit that we already know!
Hi williams, it's been 3 years since this video was posted, is there any newer version of a power probe today? Or any that you recommend, as today's 10/02/24
After seeing several videos doing fuse testing I had a thought. Suppose I have a not burnt fuse but the fused item isn't working. Suppose the fuse leg is corroded away on the load side. Won't I still see 12v on both sides doing the test despite my circuit still be open on the load side.
Thanks, very informative video. I do have the PB 3 with flames on it that I bought a few yrs ago. Not sure if its a different variant and if all PB 3's are the same in terms of functionality.
10:02 I'm not completely certain you "KNOW" that the problem is in the fixture yet, as you haven't disconnected the WIRE at the back of the fixture and verified the length of the wire is all GOOD yet, on camera at least!!
Thank you for this video, your explanation is very easy to understand. May I ask - I see that the probe can "power" up lights as what you did in this video (where you turned on the rear lights using the probe). Can I use this feature to start my car? If you look in this video, th-cam.com/video/c74wDnXr6SE/w-d-xo.html , a probe was used to start a Toyota 86. I suspect that this is also the problem in our 86, but I don't have any idea how use the probe as shown in the youtube video above. Can you explain how a probe the probe was used as shown in the video? Your answer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! (liked the video and subscribed!)
The power probe is ground sensitive. And you can't really on it for a good ground on a wire that carries a load. They will show it has a good ground even if it has only one stran of wire . You must check if it can carry a loan with 4amp light

An excellent video. I appreciate that your presentation is done at an adult level; no yelling, vulgarity, or pop culture cliches. Thank you!
That was a fine tutorial.
One of the best powerprobe videos.
Thank you.
Great video! I really like how you broke it down into non-technical terms. Making it easy to comprehend. You, my friend, should be teaching at a tech school or something to that extent.
Thank you for being clear and basic better than other videos
From a true beginner meaning I just took it out of the plastic THANK YOU FOR A GREAT DEMO

Most thorough Power Probe demonstration thank you lots of knowledge

Thank you! We are glad you like it!!!
Thanks for just explaining the tool without acting like a tool. I appreciate it.
Love the spray foam insulation on the walls. Great stuff.
❤how very step by step you explain the system.
Thank you man, that instruction was top notch.

I have the PP 4, this is an excellent demonstration.
Great video on how to use this correctly. I actually have the problems you've shown
thank you for the explanation. I have heard others but yours I was able to understand. Once again thank you.
Very well explained and informative video, thank you very much.
Glad it was helpful! Kyle did an amazing job explaining it! :)
Excellent explaining
Awesome thank you breaking it down so clearly 👍🏽
Excellent PowerProbe explanation! Thanks!
Excellent clear presentation. Thanks
Kyle did an amazing job! I will pass him along your comment! Thanks!
I went to school and learned great video
Brilliant video tutorial great thank you very much helpful video
From London England UK 🇬🇧
Good explanation , great job Chad 👏
That was my buddy Kyle, I will be sure to send him your kind words! Glad it was helpful!
Perfect. No fluff.
Very good explainer thanks
Great video I got a little better understanding. Thank you.

You’re welcome and good luck! I am sure you will figure it out! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge sir 🙏🏻
Thanks for a great video
Thank you for the great explanation, hopefully I can figure it out!
Merci pour cette vidéo,c'est très claire et réussie 🎉
Excellent
Thank you, explanation was great

No
Thank you sir for an excellent video
Great explanation.
great explanation
Awesome. I've seen that you can hookup an m12 battery to use the power probe on the bench.
Thank you!
very helpful!
Great video thank you keep up the good work
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video
You have the exact voice if Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters
Very informative
Thank you for sharing but I got a ? When u power the signal light what if it the wire is shorted would you get a light warni?

How did that bulb not explode isn’t 12 volts going through it when you power it on by the probe??
Can the PP test relays?

Your resemblance to Kamie Hyneman on Mythbusters is uncanny. Your voices sound exactly the same. A beret would finish it...
👍👍
Power circuit brobe VS Multimeter??

Power probe it can be to test sensors❤❤

How easy for this thing to blow up the computer?
My Kingdom for a "real" microphone.... Just saying
I hope some day you can manage your grief to an extent that you can be reasonable about your goals.
expensive jumper wire
Horrible.
good job man !👍
