I honestly loved that Tiff and Sam helped eachother grow without a romantic component tbh. Would say it’s better that way instead of just being temporarily distracted by the new and shiny
After The Ultimatum: Queer Love I was having nightmares about Mildred because she mirrored some of my past abusive relationships and Tiff, you are so eloquent and open about your experience. You made me feel seen and you're such a wonderful person. You didn't have to use your energy to do this and to use your influence to make people like me feel less alone is nothing short of brave. And Out of the Pods thank you so much for giving them a platform. This is truly one of my favorite podcasts; you show that people can learn and grow and really highlight what is important. I'm so grateful for all of you.
something i just thought about was the hypocrisy of Mildred and Tiff vs Jackelina and Marshall. Jackie was allowed to not come on the reunion because she felt unsafe. I think everyone should have to join the reunion and as far as we saw and know Marshall or anyone else on the cast never put her in danger. They allowed that to happen and took such good care of Jackie because she felt unsafe. allowed her to still tell her side on her time. but then allowed a domestic abuser to join, get so so so much time, verbally assault and harass her victim to the point where Tiff left and that was it. CRAZY. I agree with Tiff’s comment on masculinity and feminity. Jackie was protected cause Marshall is a man. Mildred was protected because Tiff is more masculine presenting. Why should masculinity and feminity matter when the feminine is a domestic abuser. that reunion was so so so fucked up.
@tiff I can honestly say thank you. Thank you for giving someone who grew up w a “broken home” the benefit of the doubt. Thank you for thinking of her first because what she’s been through. That truly shows how empathetic and caring you are. But you should always take a step back and see how these actions are affecting you. You’re a beautiful soul. And I am sorry your soul was taken advantage of. You’re beautiful inside and out. I’m so sorry you were taken advantage of to a certain degree. I really respect you and love your energy. Keep being open minded and working on yourself ultimately Slay bby ❤️
@@Freee479 Oh, easy. Tiff would like for you to use they/them pronouns when referring to them. That is all. Oftentimes those that prefer they/them pronouns identify as non-binary (not male/female), but not always.

Honestly, I think it depends on if the guy has done actual self discovery or not. I had been engaged twice and a 21 year old strolled into my life (I was 28). I thought… no way, absolutely not. But his constant work on himself and GOING TO THERAPY we realized we were a perfect fit. Age does matter, but i think what self work you have done matters more.

@free8957 if you're having difficulties figuring out how to use they/them as a pronoun for a person, just think, for example, of finding a cellphone in a room that someone has left. You'd say "oh, someone left THEIR cellphone!" if you don't know whose it is. Simple as that.
I didnt get too much Karen vibes from it but just being transparent about the perspective Tiff had about Mal, may be rooted in other things but it definitely brings up a deeper conversation. At the end of the day we all naturally hold stereotypes within us to protect ourselves from the unknown, its how we act upon it that matters!
