Man I know trainee's look up to older groups for inspiration, but when it comes to stage presence and confidence I hope they're watching EXID live stages; b/c these girls stare at the camera and move their bodies in the most memorizing way, its soo natural and not forced. The only other girl group I can think who does that amazingly right now is mamamoo. Exid do sexy concept sooo much justice.

Not to mention how she improved so much with her vocals. Normally girls with poor vocals when they debut never really improve and are only there for dance and visuals. Junghwa's skills were really only acting, dancing and visuals ..never really expected to be any sort of vocalist. But now she has improved so much she even put out a solo singing video. like many idols have that thin/weak quality to their voice and i thought it was just a trait many people had when singing but junghwa actually worked past it?? its basically gone now queen
You’re Average Twice Fan ya'll can't expect her to improve to the level of Solji or Hyerin. She has a naturally weaker voice and she can only improve so much. She never will be main vocal material and that's totally okay because she isn't in the group to be a main vocal.
A thin/weak quality happens because someone is not engaging enough breath from the diaphragm (in vocal technique known as breath support) to keep their vocal chords connected --- most sub-vocals in KPop groups (and sometimes even leads) have this problem. It's not a trait, it's technical. So once you got proper vocal technique lessons, EVERYONE can worked past it. Singing is 20% talent, 80% technique and practice. Junghwa's tone production is still somehow shallow compared to her peers but she's definitely better than before. She COULD be as good as Solji/Hyelin if she's diligent enough with her lessons so she could get to the more advanced technique like resonance, agility, etc. SHINee's Taemin vocal improvements prove this. He went from a shallow half-speaking singer, to now belting notes with consistent breath support and resonance.
*I still like how solji recorded her voice in the song and took part in singing, and I hope my bias gets well.*

honestly, I don't know when they debuted or how is their relationship but their chemistry on stage is great. they don't seem well trained/robotic/trying to stand out individually, they work together. you can't really fake that sht on stage, you either have it, try to compensate for it or you don't. and they do. all members seem very mature as artists individually, both vocals and rapping are amazing (i heard someone saying one of the rappers was an underground rapper before? i'm not sure if i'm mistaken). they're great dancers too. been listening to exid a lot these days even though i'm not a part of the fandom. hopefully i'll hear a lot more from them on the following years cuz they have something different there.
LE was underground and I believe that it was 2012 that they debuted. I agree about their stage presence, well balanced.
When you watch EXID you can see how much more talent they have over a group like Twice which will break records and win awards just because of image and the way jyp packages them as this cutie thing. When a real talented group like EXID gets pushed to the side. But as true kpop fans know who's the real deal and who's just all image and no substance.
