I was a bit nervous to share this, but it’s been my most requested non gaming video on the channel, and it’s nice to show people what goes on before a video goes live 🥰 Haha that crane was doing my head in 😂 Not only with the noise but also the men on it floating by looking at me talking to myself 😂😂😂🙈 but I know they were just doing their job. I just got very self conscious 😅

Haha, I totally understand! 😂 When you eventually reach Shakespeare Cliff, you can take your frustrations out on some of the crane workers (or whatever they are) in that level 😉
I'm trying to experiment with commentary videos, but I am so self-conscious about me sounding like some sort of robot speaking into a cellphone! 😆
I'm trying so hard to keep going with my Top 10 TR levels from the Remasters, but I'm having such a hard time... Hopefully, I can keep at it until I have something decently put together. I have to give myself a little credit because I make all my videos on my phone.

I have photos 🙈 But luckily they grew back and I have embraced my massive brows ever since even though I used to get teased for them 😂❤️ Haha omg yes! The filmception was real !! It was so odd and fun when you took us behind the monitors and we could see you play and record !! I can only imagine the Suzanneception when you were editing this one!! I really loved this video!! Very wholesome music as well and loved the tea ritual!! I love my tea ritual as well.. especially when I am boiling my greek mountain tea.. and the kettle makes the whistling sound 😊
The thumbnail section was pure torture.. OMG, i can't believe a Samoyed lives opposite you ! We had one from 1989 - 2001 and he was absolutely beautiful. He was called Yeti (like his Dad, which was an abbreviation of his pedigree name), so there is a tenuous Tomb Raider connection there, although he was a benevolent spirit, not like those feral abominations in CotT / Ice Palace 😄
My current dog is the one in the picture. Another tenuous Tomb Raider connection (HMS Beagle), although i'd never get him near a ship, because he hates water !🤦♀
I must confess though he is usually asleep when i watch your videos 🤣

What a lovely setup. I'm envious lol. Always have to respect the creation process cause things take even longer than we'd estimate, even when we've been doing it for a while. Very much appreciate the audio volume balancing you do too, cause it's something a lot people take for granted. And you can really tell the difference when it isn't done. Some people don't even have to do it themselves cause their mics/software lowers the volume for them.
Also, thanks for letting us (me) know about HitFilm and the other free software. The more editing software options I know, the better!
Thank you 🥹❤️ It’s taken me a while, but two years after moving in my set up is almost complete 😂❤️ absolutely! Videos take so long to create, especially when you’re a one person show! And thank you! I know for me it’s the top pet peeve when I’m watching other videos and the sound is lovely and then my ears suddenly get blasted 😂 So I try my best to keep the sound consistent 🙈 And absolutely! I don’t mind sharing what I use and what I’ve learnt, as it’s only through others doing that that I’ve learnt this much! I hope to keep improving my skills as I learn more and more 🥰❤️

I love to see your creative process. You say that you learned from a youtube video and it is super simple and if I can do it, you can do it too. First of all, you have to be a creative and curious mindset to learn this. To learn these and to use them (or use them and learn them which is my learning curve) you have to do it because it is fun and have a purpose.

Or replace it with cool smaller ones like you had there. 🤔 Speaking of Esmerelda, one of my favorite toys as a youngin' was the Esmerelda from Burger King. It was a puppet/doll. I had a wave of nostalgia, and had to go order one off eBay. Recently replaced Anastasia which was one of my favorite toys as a kid too (and movies) too. A lot cheaper to replace this stuff than I would've expected, but I'm not going to complain.

What you can also do for your audio for your mic is you can add a audio limiter filter to your mic. So when you scream the mic won't get too loud. You can set it to max the mic to -6 db and that will prevent any peeking. If you aren't sure exactly where to put this google obs adding a mic limiter and there should be some tutorials for you. I enjoyed seeing your behind the scenes :)

@@suzannetheraider It was not meant as a link. I asked if you know tomb raider chronicles. I mean the site. All the 3 words are together without space between them. Maybe this works. 😁 It is a site about tombraider and the games with walkthroughs, gamesaves and all kind of content.

You can use a normalizer (assuming your video editing software has it). The normalizer will limit how loud and soft a sample of audio can be. Otherwise, with your technique, you're basically doing exactly what it does, but manually.
