- Former Olympian, Sharron Davies, says that any sporting body that does not 'use the science' to take a decision on trans athletes is being 'negligent'.
'The FA is being negligent right now, and if you’ve got a child that gets injured in football by a male, you’ve got a very big court case against the FA, because they are not protecting their female athletes'
Davies slams the FA, as trans footballer, Francesca Needham, seriously injured an opposition player. Francesca is a biological male, playing in a females only football team.

Like most of these trans types they are nowhere near good enough to play again men so cheat and bully their way in to compete against women.
It should never have been left up to team members. If sport administrators had any guts at all, they would have nipped this dangerous trend in the bud at the beginning. Clearly they were more concerned about their image and being ‘inclusive’ than they were about fairness and safety. Obviously had no problem with cheating, but I bet they would have come down hard on any real woman team member who cheated.

I'm a biological female and a gender critical feminist who is sick of all the gender woo-woo. Recently I was invited to an online meeting of an organisation campaigning against a wholly different issue (fuel poverty). I was interested in attending until I read that participants were expected to 'give their pronouns' before the business of the meeting commenced. I was really put off by this and in the end didn't attend. However, I did seriously contemplate attending and saying that my pronouns were "it", to draw attention to the ridiculousness of announcing so-called gender pronouns. I do wonder what would have happended if I had done this. Use of "it" as a pronoun is quite derogatory and tends to deny the personhood of the individual referred to. I think that psychologically we are adverse to this. What do others think? And what do you think of the idea of using "it" deliberately when asked for pronouns at meetings and other gatherings? @@gillianredfearn8367

It is absolutely essential that we do not succomb to the expectation of feminine 'politeness' by referring to a biological male as "she". "She" is the pronoun for a female, and females have 'XX' sex chromosome karotype, and typically uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva. Anyone who has a penis, testicles and 'XY' karotype is male. The correct pronoun is "he".

My god. I played 2nd row rugby union and league at 16 and was strong as an ox. The thought of using that strength against women would make me feel sick. This is wrong. Call it out for what it is. I'm now 52 and a chubby weakling compared to my prime but still wouldn't compete against my 51 year old sister.

The FA stance on this matter is ironic when you consider that in 1921 the same organisation enacted a ban on females playing football on professional grounds and pitches of clubs affiliated to The FA, stating “the game of football is quite unsuitable for females and ought not to be encouraged.” This ludicrous ban was in force for nearly fifty years, with The FA Council only rescinding the 1921 resolution in January 1970. Women and girls were then free to play on grounds affiliated to the FA and registered referees could officiate at women’s matches. Now however, the FA sees nothing amiss with assorted panto dames thundering around a pitch to the detriment of the girls and women playing.
