- Happy Friday! Last summer, I was thrilled to move my Living Room sessions to @MonksJazzClub in Austin, Texas for an unforgettable weekend with the Christian Wiggs Big Band featuring @ChadLefkowitzBrown on saxophone, @ChimyMusic on bass, and Andrew Renfroe on guitar. I felt so at home at Monks during this residency with @BandstandPresents- it truly felt like an extension of my living room 💗 We were able to find some time during sound check to record “The Folks Who Live On The Hill” which was beautifully arranged by the great trumpet player(and my old friend), Mike Sailors. This video is fitting to share now, as we will all be together again at Birdland in NYC this weekend! I had so much fun with this piece, and am excited to share that I will be back with weekly living room sessions, and will be releasing new music of my own this summer! Pre-save my upcoming double single, "Black Magic" now!

I have always loved this song and boy howdy does Martina do right by it. And holy cow I never heard Christian until now. What a duo! Both sound like they're trying to sound like themselves. Too many people are trying to be a modern member of the Rat Pack or a rebirth of Bilie Holiday instead of maximizing their own sound. These two do it. Long time Martina fan and new Christian fan.
and good god that band swings
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful !!!😍😍😍👏👏👏Thank You👋

Martina, you have the glorious big band backing your magnificent voice deserves! Front and center where we want to see you! Great duet!
Bravo! Much gratitude for sharing such a beautiful elegant, and sweet performance.
Go Martina!!!
Thanks for listing out all those brilliant Austin musicians
What? With current property prices? You must be joking! Obviously Jerome Kern didn't know about interest rates going up!
Seriously though, Martina you are pure class!

Hi. This is Samuel Sun, I was the one boy that have met you from the PS 203 school, but now I’m in MS 216 middle school now, also Thanks for hosting the cool show on 5/16/2022! It was so great! Me and my classmates and my teachers had so fun watching you guys getting talented! So stay safe and be successful!
We were treated to a wonderful video recently which was taken down, I quickly listened at work and was really looking forward to watching it when I got home but by then it had been removed. Do you think you'll put it back up again?
Duet goals 🧡🥹
Martina's voice plays so awesome along Dan's bass, I'm speechless, again!
Everything is great, don't get me wrong. But your duet is something inexplicable.
👌
breathtakingly beautiful

Thank you!
just... WOW!! ❤
Me encanta su música Martina, su papá me la recomendó 🧡
💗💗💗
Perfect duet👍
Thank you 🙏
Sorry. Way way overdone. This is a simple, intensely personal, song that should be done, not as a "show me" persormance, but as a sweet and private communication from a man to his fiance/loved one. Not a lazz performance piece... doesn't work.
We'll try harder next time, Richard.
