You're such a cute couple. Love the cinematography. Ann, Haleiwa is pronounced as " Ha le Eva". "w" is pronounced as "V", like Hawaii would be "Ha va ee" I grew up in the North Shore. And yes, you are right, it is beautiful. Just like you, I like it better than Waikiki. Did you make it Turtle Bay Resort? You should go there for sunset, simply stunning. Also, were you able to go to Kahuku to eat at the many shrimp trucks? That's also a must. Again, great job. I can't wait for many more adventures.

@@FpSNet hahaha!!! Not all the way there, just by Koolina side or have some locals with you exploring Yokohama bay or maili beach. Love living in Oahu. Have fun and just be safe. Anywhere you go, we have our share of good and bad things.
@@emilynagbayani5718 all jokes, I agree :). Makaha and Makua beaches are some of the most beautiful, underrated, and still are relatively safe.

I have spent time on a Trident submarine. Didn’t see fish tho.
Although, Northshore has some of the best “free” snorkeling on Oahu, in Pupukea. Don’t need a sub to see fish here and can stay as long as you want. Specifically, Sharks Cove(no sharks here, just in the name) and Three Tables. Schools and schools of different kinds of fish. Sharks Cove is great for kids because it is very calm and shallow, 8ft is as deep it got when we were there. There are bigger fish in the blue water north of the shallow end and can get as deep as 20 ft. Saw the most fish at Three Tables, especially on the north end away from the three “islands” that are flat… like tables. Somebody mentioned seeing sea turtles here, but sadly we didn’t. But plenty of fish everywhere tho. A local did mention a turtle “cleaning station” in Aweoweo Beach(in Northshore) where turtles like to hang out. All that snorkeling builds an appetite. No worries, bc there are plenty of Food Trucks and a Foodland here too.

that was a great video! thanks for sharing! Btw, we stayed at HHV during our trip back in March but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to swim the beach near our hotel. We spent most of our time in North Shore. Foodland was one of the great place to get Poké and as for the shave ice, we didn't get to try Matsumotos because the line was too long so we ended up going on the other side of that place called Aokis. Take care! and pls post more videos. Mahalo 🤙🏽

First time, watching you guys. I was just in Oahu last week. We got the shaved ice at the same place. Jan I think you should propose to this beautiful person. What are you waiting for? How does Boracay compare to Oahu for you guys? As always love the videos!
Boracay is beautiful but its a very small island. Not much to do except for the white beach. Its great for a quick getaway. Oahu on the other hand has everything, city life, beaches, nature,hikes, etc. so it definitely has more to offer than boracay 😊

Hawaii was definitely way more expensive in our opinion. From the food to accommodations, Hawaii is more expensive 😅
