I really think scarecrow would do well with his own character study movie, akin to Joker. Getting a full length film, just to flesh out his mentality and origin would be precious. Oh, and of course it would have to be a true horror flick at the same time
I bet Reeves will take inspiration from Long Halloween/Dark Victory and explore the transition from former Mafia criminals to costumed freaks. And in the end, The Batman Saga will have been the story of how Gotham became dominated by bizarre supervillains.

I could imagine the ending of the trilogy to be Bruce writing in his Journal "Last week Gotham had its first night with zero violent crimes in 54 years" (I'm quoting BATMAN: THE IMPOSTER written by Mattson Tomlin) and then we see the citizens of Gotham rebuilding the city after whatever catastrophic event has happened. We see Bruce finally managing to get his life together as both Batman and Bruce Wayne and at this point he has taken charge of Wayne enterprises and is using his resources to rebuild the city and make it a better place for the people of Gotham. Then he writes something inspirational about him managing to make a difference and then he writes something like "But the city will always need a Batman" as he looks out of the window and sees the Batsignal
That is maybe a bit too corny for Matt Reeve's but I trust that he will end the trilogy in a good way. I think Bruce and Selina will probably end up together by the end of the trilogy so maybe there is also a very sweet moment at the end where she says something like "Your parents would be proud of you Bruce" as they look at a picture of them in the newly rebuilt Wayne manor orphanage and then we see Bruce smile and she makes some joke about him never smiling... Maybe I got a bit too carried away

Also Warren White (The great white shark), could act as a predatory loan-shark in conjunction with all the aforementioned gambling. I am always ready for more batman related content Boba! I can see how GothCorp having chemical labs could be really useful for developing villains. Think about how it could create avenues to originate Mr. Freeze, Clayface, even Joker to some degree. Maybe we have Penguin trying to utilise an experimental GothCorp mimetic clay by having his goons use it to dusguise themselves when committing crimes? Maybe Joker was a GothCorp employee and he developed his toxin while working there? Lots of possibilities.

Can't remember off the top of my head if we went through this already on the channel. But how amazing would it be that Scarecrow is not the main villain in a movie but along with his fear toxin the main driving force of the Arkham Show. Since it is as Reeves said a Haunted House and horror-esque. Just imagine that perhaps in the climax of the series the fear toxin is released among many of the Rogues Gallery villains. The possible imagery alone that pops into my head with such a scenario is absolutely demented. (just to make it clear, i am not against it if he ends up a main villain in the movies)

I wouldn't mind seeing the scarecrow in the next one. Save the joker for last. Also I could see a realistic poison ivy as an environmentalist, a plant lady who tries to save the rainforest etc who makes all kind of plant toxins, maybe one day she mixes the wrong one, it makes her crazy.... Damn I didn’t think that. I know people sort of role their eyes about it, but I honestly would welcome another live action Joker portrayal since it hasn’t been done with Batman since 2008 and since 2019 on its own (which is still a while ago and will be 6 years by the time The Batman 2 comes out)
another way beside Goth Corp that corporate corruption could be worked in is within Wayne Industries. Since Bruce has been neglecting his duties as CEO as a way to focus on being Batman full time, its reasonable that there may be corruption within his own company that he was unaware of. (This could result in manbat or some other characters being created to be used down the road idk) I think that this would be a good way to convince Bruce to step into the role of Bruce Wayne, and maybe appoint a lucius fox type character to run the company. This gives a reason for batman to be Bruce more and a good detective story.

There has been talk of a trilogy of course to complete Batmans character but do you not think we could get 4 or 5 movies? Have our trilogy focus on Batman getting to his peak only to have a fourth and fifth movie dealing with the Bat family and that’s his new journey and we get a skewed perspective movie, I think Matts vision has the legs for many movies.
Wow, what a wonderful video. I know a lot of people are really fascinating about the Mr. freeze character, and the Batman two movie. Unfortunately, I just can’t see it. We have to think, this is a world, where our reality is, what we all know, there is no man bat, there is no killer croc, this is simply a world with corruption and people who are trying to do something about it. I can see in this universe, the fans getting the first taste of a court of owls, I think that would be awesome. With the set up of how the movie ended, I think that there’s much room for Batman, to unlock the hidden shadows of the court of owls, in the meantime, I think characters like scarecrow would work perfect. We also have to think that scarecrow will then be inspired by the Riddler had done to Gotham, using Riddler as a motivator. Only to end up in the same group as Riddler and joker.

Man, I just had a thought. Bruce didn’t even think about institutions cause he kept Batmaning because of his anger and vengeance, but now that he wants other options to help people, maybe he doesn’t believe in Gotham’s institutions since Riddler revealed the corruption in them, which is why he may look for Bella Real, getting hands-on helping the institutions being rebuilt in a way that actually helps the people, with her as his ally making sure that’s what happens. Ad an even crazier thought is, if Bella Real is to be Bruce and Batman’s ally in the side of justice and politics, then could she turn into Two-Face, since that’s the fate that falls on Bruce’s most popular ally in politics and justice: Harvey Dent. That’s just a fun crazy thought, which I know would be completely out of character for Bella Real, but I wouldn’t be upset if that happened

Hey Boba, I’m not sure if this has been brought up before but could you see Riddler returning as the villain or one of the villains for the final film? For a trilogy with infinite potential it could be a waste of a movie to redo the same antagonist, but it would be the first Batman movie to have him fight a main villain he’s already fought, which could add to the world building, setting up the comicbookness of the villains being recurring in Gotham. Plus we would get to see a riddler who has finished his character arc and become more comic accurate fight a now more experienced detective Batman, setting up a Holmes/Moriarty relationship and showing how much Bruce and the city has evolved throughout the trilogy by contrast with their first encounter. Or alternatively what other route could they take? Love to know what you think.

I’d love to see Bruce Wayne (in his attempt to build his Bruce persona) bump into Selina at a charity ball in Gotham. Perhaps Selina can be the date of some important figure from Bludhaven (who she’s stealing from). I’d love to see him stunned and fall back into his shy Bruce Wayne while Selina asks him “What are you staring at?”
This is just a little idea and it might sound dumb but when u said catwoman is unpredictable i think it would be cool for her to be bipolar! one you dont see many bipolar cbm characters but i think it would add some depth to her character.

Hi Luke/Boba, keep up the awesome work on these videos as the long journey to The Batman Part 2 continues. It'll be painful, but it'll also be worth it. In terms of the villains for the remainder of the trilogy, I truly believe that Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Killer Croc would fit the most well into The Epic Crime Film Noir Batman Saga, without them just feeling like another serial killer. Each of them can tie into the horror aspect and allow Batman to feel sympathetic towards them, unlike how he was to Riddler. Mr Freeze is the obvious one, he's just a scientist that wants to help his wife. Perhaps people could be frozen, but instead of being kept in a block of ice, the ice just peels their skin away. In terms of Poison Ivy, as you mentioned in The Rogue's Gallery series, she could be inspired by Rappucini's daughter in which she's spent most of her life around plant life and later she becomes a botanist, to which she's socially awkward and keeps to herself. Also, yeah, imagine the body horror of people getting torn by plants. Similarly to how Victor wants to preserve Nora, Pamela wants to preserve plant life and maybe that could lead to them teaming up. But, maybe one backstabs the other. Scarecrow is another obvious choice considering the hallucinations that can be portrayed through the fear toxin. Jonathan could appear in The Batman Part 3 in which maybe a year has passed where Batman has forged a reputation for himself as Gotham's protector and Scarecrow intends to ruin that by braking down The Batman. Killer Croc can be used as the muscle by Scarecrow where the sympathy card can be played, along with his horrific design (think Batman Earth One) and actions to stay alive in the sewers and on land. Again, picture the rows of bodies with claw and teeth marks. As for any side characters, Harvey Dent is a must. If there's anyone who can try to convince Bruce to do more for Gotham, it's him. Vicki Vale would be a nice inclusion and she could show Bruce that there is so much for him to do, plus Vicki could act as a love interest for Bruce Wayne while Selina is a love interest for Batman. Leslie Thomkins would be another great addition, especially if she's inspired by the one from Batman Imposter. Barbara Gordon is another must to expand on Jim's life and potentially show him as a single father. I think Barbara has more of a chance of appearing in the trilogy than Dick Grayson because at least Reeves doesn't have to touch upon the Bat-Family due to the new DCU. It goes without saying that there's going to be a distinct difference between Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's Batman versus that of James Gunn and Andy Muschietti's Batman in which one will be more of a grounded graphic novel, while the other will be more comic booky. There could certainly be hints of Barbara becoming Batgirl. In fact she could be kidnapped and maybe that prompts Gordon to remember that scene from Batman Year One in which he and Batman first became allies after he saved his kid. There could be hints of Haly's Circus in Gotham. We'll see. The beauty of the Epic Crime Saga is that we can head canon so many things happening to Pattinson's Batman throughout his life. Sorry, for the long comment, I just have plenty of ideas with regards to The Batman Saga but thanks for checking it out.

Very popular villain choice for the sequel. Also Dick Grayson and Harvey Dent would be cool to introduce in part 2.
I would love Matt reeeves to end the Batman with Superman’s pod landing in Kansas which will allow audiences to create their own world and own stories but left open ended and fantastical
I think reeves will end the trilogy with the flying Grayson’s rope snapping (maybe post credit) since the third movie could equate to the third year of Batman’s existence (got a Robin within 3 years of the character existing)

He's a little too old now. Guy is coming up on 53. As an older fella myself, I kinda feel like these kinds of stories should be about younger people, like under 45. Frankly, I feel like there's something a little sad about Indiana Jones still jumping out of airplanes at age 80. Like, dude, just accept it. I kinda hate myself for saying it, but I feel like it'd be both funny and awesome to cast Henry Cavill as Batman. He proved with Witcher that he can do a grim-and-gritty hero as well as the reluctant mentor for a teenager. There are worse choices out there.

@@ghostme1635 Except early 40s is more than old enough to have a teenage son. Damian, at least in the comics, is barely into his teens. That would still put Batman over 30 when he was born. They usually age up tween comic characters for film, but still, I really hope we don't end up with another adult Robin. Especially if it's Damian. The character's whole charm is that he's a pint-sized psychopath. I got the impression that Bruce's affair with Talia happened when he was still training with Ra's Al Ghul, which would make it quite early in his life. So having him approaching grandpa age, aside from anything else, just makes him seem kinda like a has-been Batman. Of course, The Dark Knight Returns more than proved that a has-been Batman is still a good premise. But that's not the premise they seem to be going for. If they do make Brave and the Bold a film about Batman getting old, then sure, Hamm would be fine. But if not, if they just cast a 53 year old man who's showing his age in the role of top-of-his-game Batman doing the same shit Ben Affleck did, it would look pathetic. Maybe not that bad in this movie, but the next? what about all the tie-in movies they want to do over the next ten years if this whole Gunn-Verse thing works out? These decrepit actors are running around movies with Donnie Yen-level stunt doubles doing absurd stunts. It seems like pop culture is living in denial about what getting old actually means, acting like, if you just put enough special effects on it, it will go away. Talk about "It's toasted."
What I want to see from The Batman Part II is Bryan Cranston as Mr. Freeze I wanted him to be Commissioner Gordon but that sadly didn't happen but I think he'll be good as Mr. Freeze and I want to see the billionaire playboy persona I want The Batman Part II to take inspiration from Heart of Ice or Cold, Cold Heart I think that would be cool

Ugh! I'm old enough to still think of Batman Begins as "The New Batman" after the slow-moving train wreck of the Burton-to-Schumacher films. So thinking of BB as "a long long long time ago" is a little hard. Though it actually is.
If they did do robin in this universe I think Matt reeves should use Jason Todd just because of the darker tone of this Gotham goes along with the street kid type that Jason is he can just be a random teenager sort like the kid from the train gang in the first film and I for sure could see Jason trying to steal this version of the batmobile
The only way I could see Reeves killing off Batman is in a second trilogy after he’s established at least 2 Robins. The Batfamily has to exist for Gotham to be safe, and I can’t see Reeves doing that in the first trilogy. I feel that Reeves will either save Dick for the 3rd film, or for the end of the third film. But Dick would be ready by the end of the movie
I think the main question I would love to ask Matt Reeves is: How will Robert’s Bruce Wayne progress in this movie? Will he work more on the dual identity that Comic book and other forms of media fans have grown to love?

Maybe we have Penguin trying to utilise an experimental GothCorp mimetic clay by having his goons use it to dusguise themselves when committing crimes? Maybe Joker was a GothCorp employee and he developed his toxin while working there? Lots of possibilities.

Can't remember off the top of my head if we went through this already on the channel. But how amazing would it be that Scarecrow is not the main villain in a movie but along with his fear toxin the main driving force of the Arkham Show. Since it is as Reeves said a Haunted House and horror-esque. Just imagine that perhaps in the climax of the series the fear toxin is released among many of the Rogues Gallery villains. The possible imagery alone that pops into my head with such a scenario is absolutely demented. (just to make it clear, i am not against it if he ends up a main villain in the movies)
I hope the opening scene will be how Gordon and Batman formed a relationship, what Batman did to earn his trust, and Batman monologues over it

another way beside Goth Corp that corporate corruption could be worked in is within Wayne Industries. Since Bruce has been neglecting his duties as CEO as a way to focus on being Batman full time, its reasonable that there may be corruption within his own company that he was unaware of. (This could result in manbat or some other characters being created to be used down the road idk) I think that this would be a good way to convince Bruce to step into the role of Bruce Wayne, and maybe appoint a lucius fox type character to run the company. This gives a reason for batman to be Bruce more and a good detective story.

There has been talk of a trilogy of course to complete Batmans character but do you not think we could get 4 or 5 movies? Have our trilogy focus on Batman getting to his peak only to have a fourth and fifth movie dealing with the Bat family and that’s his new journey and we get a skewed perspective movie, I think Matts vision has the legs for many movies.
I have a feeling that this year we will get leaks from Reeves as to what this sequel is! Very hype

I know a lot of people are really fascinating about the Mr. freeze character, and the Batman two movie. Unfortunately, I just can’t see it.
We have to think, this is a world, where our reality is, what we all know, there is no man bat, there is no killer croc, this is simply a world with corruption and people who are trying to do something about it.
I can see in this universe, the fans getting the first taste of a court of owls, I think that would be awesome.
With the set up of how the movie ended, I think that there’s much room for Batman, to unlock the hidden shadows of the court of owls, in the meantime, I think characters like scarecrow would work perfect.
We also have to think that scarecrow will then be inspired by the Riddler had done to Gotham, using Riddler as a motivator. Only to end up in the same group as Riddler and joker.
This batman has put the joker in the mental hospital that batman got the better of him and now it is up to the joker go after him and get the best of batman this time make it hard on batman
Man, I just had a thought. Bruce didn’t even think about institutions cause he kept Batmaning because of his anger and vengeance, but now that he wants other options to help people, maybe he doesn’t believe in Gotham’s institutions since Riddler revealed the corruption in them, which is why he may look for Bella Real, getting hands-on helping the institutions being rebuilt in a way that actually helps the people, with her as his ally making sure that’s what happens.
Ad an even crazier thought is, if Bella Real is to be Bruce and Batman’s ally in the side of justice and politics, then could she turn into Two-Face, since that’s the fate that falls on Bruce’s most popular ally in politics and justice: Harvey Dent. That’s just a fun crazy thought, which I know would be completely out of character for Bella Real, but I wouldn’t be upset if that happened

Hey Boba, I’m not sure if this has been brought up before but could you see Riddler returning as the villain or one of the villains for the final film? For a trilogy with infinite potential it could be a waste of a movie to redo the same antagonist, but it would be the first Batman movie to have him fight a main villain he’s already fought, which could add to the world building, setting up the comicbookness of the villains being recurring in Gotham. Plus we would get to see a riddler who has finished his character arc and become more comic accurate fight a now more experienced detective Batman, setting up a Holmes/Moriarty relationship and showing how much Bruce and the city has evolved throughout the trilogy by contrast with their first encounter. Or alternatively what other route could they take? Love to know what you think.

I’d love to see Bruce Wayne (in his attempt to build his Bruce persona) bump into Selina at a charity ball in Gotham. Perhaps Selina can be the date of some important figure from Bludhaven (who she’s stealing from). I’d love to see him stunned and fall back into his shy Bruce Wayne while Selina asks him “What are you staring at?”
This is just a little idea and it might sound dumb but when u said catwoman is unpredictable i think it would be cool for her to be bipolar! one you dont see many bipolar cbm characters but i think it would add some depth to her character.

Hi Luke/Boba, keep up the awesome work on these videos as the long journey to The Batman Part 2 continues. It'll be painful, but it'll also be worth it.
In terms of the villains for the remainder of the trilogy, I truly believe that Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Killer Croc would fit the most well into The Epic Crime Film Noir Batman Saga, without them just feeling like another serial killer. Each of them can tie into the horror aspect and allow Batman to feel sympathetic towards them, unlike how he was to Riddler. Mr Freeze is the obvious one, he's just a scientist that wants to help his wife. Perhaps people could be frozen, but instead of being kept in a block of ice, the ice just peels their skin away. In terms of Poison Ivy, as you mentioned in The Rogue's Gallery series, she could be inspired by Rappucini's daughter in which she's spent most of her life around plant life and later she becomes a botanist, to which she's socially awkward and keeps to herself. Also, yeah, imagine the body horror of people getting torn by plants. Similarly to how Victor wants to preserve Nora, Pamela wants to preserve plant life and maybe that could lead to them teaming up. But, maybe one backstabs the other. Scarecrow is another obvious choice considering the hallucinations that can be portrayed through the fear toxin. Jonathan could appear in The Batman Part 3 in which maybe a year has passed where Batman has forged a reputation for himself as Gotham's protector and Scarecrow intends to ruin that by braking down The Batman. Killer Croc can be used as the muscle by Scarecrow where the sympathy card can be played, along with his horrific design (think Batman Earth One) and actions to stay alive in the sewers and on land. Again, picture the rows of bodies with claw and teeth marks.
As for any side characters, Harvey Dent is a must. If there's anyone who can try to convince Bruce to do more for Gotham, it's him. Vicki Vale would be a nice inclusion and she could show Bruce that there is so much for him to do, plus Vicki could act as a love interest for Bruce Wayne while Selina is a love interest for Batman. Leslie Thomkins would be another great addition, especially if she's inspired by the one from Batman Imposter. Barbara Gordon is another must to expand on Jim's life and potentially show him as a single father. I think Barbara has more of a chance of appearing in the trilogy than Dick Grayson because at least Reeves doesn't have to touch upon the Bat-Family due to the new DCU. It goes without saying that there's going to be a distinct difference between Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's Batman versus that of James Gunn and Andy Muschietti's Batman in which one will be more of a grounded graphic novel, while the other will be more comic booky. There could certainly be hints of Barbara becoming Batgirl. In fact she could be kidnapped and maybe that prompts Gordon to remember that scene from Batman Year One in which he and Batman first became allies after he saved his kid. There could be hints of Haly's Circus in Gotham. We'll see. The beauty of the Epic Crime Saga is that we can head canon so many things happening to Pattinson's Batman throughout his life.

He's a little too old now. Guy is coming up on 53. As an older fella myself, I kinda feel like these kinds of stories should be about younger people, like under 45. Frankly, I feel like there's something a little sad about Indiana Jones still jumping out of airplanes at age 80. Like, dude, just accept it.
I kinda hate myself for saying it, but I feel like it'd be both funny and awesome to cast Henry Cavill as Batman. He proved with Witcher that he can do a grim-and-gritty hero as well as the reluctant mentor for a teenager. There are worse choices out there.

@@ghostme1635 Except early 40s is more than old enough to have a teenage son. Damian, at least in the comics, is barely into his teens. That would still put Batman over 30 when he was born. They usually age up tween comic characters for film, but still, I really hope we don't end up with another adult Robin. Especially if it's Damian. The character's whole charm is that he's a pint-sized psychopath. I got the impression that Bruce's affair with Talia happened when he was still training with Ra's Al Ghul, which would make it quite early in his life. So having him approaching grandpa age, aside from anything else, just makes him seem kinda like a has-been Batman.
Of course, The Dark Knight Returns more than proved that a has-been Batman is still a good premise. But that's not the premise they seem to be going for. If they do make Brave and the Bold a film about Batman getting old, then sure, Hamm would be fine. But if not, if they just cast a 53 year old man who's showing his age in the role of top-of-his-game Batman doing the same shit Ben Affleck did, it would look pathetic. Maybe not that bad in this movie, but the next? what about all the tie-in movies they want to do over the next ten years if this whole Gunn-Verse thing works out?
These decrepit actors are running around movies with Donnie Yen-level stunt doubles doing absurd stunts. It seems like pop culture is living in denial about what getting old actually means, acting like, if you just put enough special effects on it, it will go away. Talk about "It's toasted."

The only way I could see Reeves killing off Batman is in a second trilogy after he’s established at least 2 Robins. The Batfamily has to exist for Gotham to be safe, and I can’t see Reeves doing that in the first trilogy. I feel that Reeves will either save Dick for the 3rd film, or for the end of the third film. But Dick would be ready by the end of the movie
I think the main question I would love to ask Matt Reeves is: How will Robert’s Bruce Wayne progress in this movie? Will he work more on the dual identity that Comic book and other forms of media fans have grown to love?
