@@KBPokemonTCGAll good if I grab a minty card from your table & say “This would probably grade a 7 bruv so I’ll comp it at that” ? Comp slabs as slabs & raw as raw. Not hard to understand really. You’re just trying to squeeze out a couple dollars & then throw in a “I’ll give you an IG shoutout” as if that helps anybody
@@TeamGullit-LvX Comping high end cards that have no comparable conditions for sale or recently sold means going on it's potential grade is absolutely the way people do it. In his instance if the Gengar really would max at 7 and he couldn't find a comparable raw listed for sale or sold then it's the only logical way to gather a price. Slab as slab and raw as raw is silly. Generally only 9 & 10's command any sort of premium above raw NM so when you start talking LP raw then there isn't any premium if it's a 7 or raw.
@@Bakapur The problem is nobody knows what PSA / BGS would give a card. Using the same logic, a vendor could say: "Oh well this will definitely grade a 10 so Im comping it as a PSA 10". See how it doesn't work? I bet you this guy doesn't do that when selling his own cards. You think he tells a customer: " Yea bruv I'll be honest this would probably grade a PSA 7 so I'll comp it as a 7" ? Saying a card won't crack a ten is fine, but then trying to tell a vendor that it'll probably crack a 7 when it could come back a 6 or an 8 is crazy to me.
I appreciate the thumbnail. Haven’t started the video yet just been stuck on thumbnail 😮💨
