I have some misting on the inside of my daytona 675 high beam lens. Any recommendations for getting rid of the water vapour that's trapped in there? This video is still super helpful for me changing my bulbs thanks in advance

Thanks man. Good video. I do think it's okay to talk about specific headlights since you're working on a specific bike. Daytona users will benefit, but people with other bikes who watch the whole video will get the gist of changing out a headlight. Also, not all bikes use Torx bolts, so you may as well make these videos specific to the Daytona. Anyway, thanks again. Music was too loud by the way (compared to the audio). :D Spacep0d, 2013 Daytona 675R owner!

Probably a low chance you'll see this or respond but did your exhaust valve seize up? If so at how many Km

The valve didn’t seize, but the cable assembly snapped. Triumph want $90AUD for the new cables so I just left it open. One regret I have is not getting it tuned to account for the permanently open valve.

Same 2007 675 the cable broke. So permanent check engine ight is on but I have a computer to scan it every so often to make sure that's the only code. Although with a aftermarket Jardine exhaust and the valve stuck open it purrs.

@@jedberkey2263 I have a device coming in the post which allows me to link to my 2011 675 and check for problems, even reflash the ecu if I want to as my bike recently started overheating for no apparent reason, took it into the shop, turned out my radiator was extremely low on coolant, they couldn't find the reason why so said to keep an eye on my coolant level.
I have only owned the 675 a couple months and only done about 1000 miles on it so still learning about how to keep it maintained, my other 2 bikes a 2017 sv650 and a 2021 mt09 are a bit easier to look after.

2 Years later, any probems with these leds? Heating or bad light scattering? I got a 2012 that id rather fit with some great looking 6500k led i found on amazon, thought id like to know about nasty surprises, ty

@@FileAssassin not a single problem, they work great. If I listen closely I can faintly hear the fans, which means they're doing their job of cooling. Got them for for my car years ago and recently put them on my bike

      @@FileAssassin yup np!
I will say I had to readjust the height. But that's normal for all the headlights I've ever replaced (car or bike)

    What about the high beams?

+JK_Fade it's the exact same process on the other side :)

Unfortunately the plug is different in mine. It's a h9

I tried to keep this video generic, to suit all bikes. That's why I didn't mention bulb sizing/types, only bulb brands. But yes, my Daytona also has a H7 for the headlights and a H9 for the high beam.
