golds aren't mechanically worse than diamonds, golds lack on teamplay and positioning. if you put a gold in a dia lobby, he can have KD 1 or even higher, but his win% (the value he gets off of his performance) will be low, its like PROD's gameplay.
@@Thiago-yj7dg i think its a bit of both, there are people who have maxed out brain like perry or averagejonas, but there is also aim gods like kaemi, imo its a balance
@@Thiago-yj7dg Depends on the gold player in question, im a diamond and when 5 stacking when ssliver-gold friends i sometimes struggle, especially as a non reyna duelist on attack as u kinda get used to certain util being there or people playing certain spots frequently but then it all just feels off in other elo, Tenz talked about this as well where he struggles in plat lobbies unless he completely turns off his brain (something which certainly wouldn't happen if u had a bad start under pressure like this in the video)
@@newcastlegiant7571 of course, tenz also knows most people in ranked below radiant have their egos over the roof and put aim train over playing smart/as the game is supposed to be played, so they will do plays that aren't on the book (because they're bad considering 5v5 with all on same skill level) just cuz they get away with it, so when someone who is a pro and an aimer plays their game, ofc they will be destroyed like little ants. doing an parallel, if tenz played like a gold overheating and playing brainless, he would still be radiant for his immaculate aim and movement, but it would be very hard for him to get out of low elo

I have a friend who has 240 ADR and 34% HS, hardstuck gold, but we both know he's hardstuck gold just for being impatient and overheating too often. In 1v1s diamonds stand no chance against him, and we both are pretty sure he would get immo in no time if he tried and stopped being a +w warrior
Actually surprised it’s not skye. Her util usage is good, better aim than most of the gold in that game and doesn’t spray much. Must be one of the hardstucks
I feel like it was more of an crosshair placement/pulling knife out too much issue
she probably overheats a lot and struggles with positioning, so she has very good aim but hardstuck

When you watch the game again, you see that raze was watching stuff and played smart with his positioning. Everyone else just instantly rotated. It’s not always the aim, but he did a pretty good job in the factor map control.

The duality of a gold player, comes through everytime
What i wanna know is if the diamonds eggwick chooses for this smurf videos actually smurfs. As a diamond player i can say not all diamonds have good aim as average dia players but their gamesense usually makes up for it. I ask this because speaking from experience gold is the most unpredictable rank. They dont know strats have decent aim and sometimes play the weirdest angles so if the diamond doesn’t smurf he wouldn’t know how to play in gold lobby instead plays it like it’s a normal comp. Which is why a proper smurfs usually instalock duelists (reyna/jett because it’s easy to get out of situations and can clutch) then they just rush in while trusting their aim

this is just a normal comp game rn, some people are at their peak rank of gold while others who just played their placements are dia/high plat playing against golds
That's me right now just got to my peak silver 2 but I got in a game against a five stack of act rank plats who are now in low gold/high silver. Pretty much every other game I get a plat or diamond peak in my games rn.

was this done on eu or na servers? I have an alt on na to play with friends via vpn, and the difference between ranks is bigger on na servers, whilst on eu there is difference, but it is smaller and much less noticable.
Obviously this is all my experience, and very much subjective.
