I often wonder if Christopher's family ever read the comments on these youtube videos. I hope they do to know, as if they didn't already, how much he will always be admired for his ferocious intellect that was matched by his courage. He is so missed.
We realise the common sense, all of us, and still when it comes to believing we immediately can forget it again and again. It is amazing how good we are telling lies to ourselves.

When, at 7:00 or so, Hitchens throws into stark, illuminating and obvious light the barbarism of circumcision, why does the audience laugh? Is this a comedy show for yuppies? Do they really think he's just dropped a punchline?

The response to 'i have a text' was odd and misplaced, but they otherwise laughed where he wanted them to. Remember that Canada is quite provincial, so you have to make allowances

To the end Christopher never gave up the fight and always battled with grace and dignity. Oh that I may die in this way.
